It's an okay bookstore. Books aren't always easy to find. Sometimes, instead of being on a shelf, they're on some random table. You really need to setup things in a way that actually makes sense. One worker explained that (at least in one section) hardback books were alphabetized first, followed by the paperbacks. Why? It makes things unnecessarily complicated.Also, are you ever going to fix the stall in the women's bathroom? It's literally coming detached from the wall.

Traditional, dependable, and yet fun. I like the changes this bookseller has gone through over the years. Adding new items, changing things up, the roomy cafe. The only thing I miss are those awesome discount tables a couple times a year. They have shelves now, not as fun.

A great bookstore. A brick and mortar store like this, is harder to find nowadays. But this is an escape to an alternative reality kind of place. Books on so many subjects, it is just heartwarming. Now that they added Starbucks to this place, it is harder to leave. You are literally trapped. There is a very nice kid's section and a play area. The store is never really crowded, you will always find seating area free to you to browse through books. Their "books on sale" section is amazing, you will always find great books there. Whenever I asked for help from staff, they were always eager to walk with you to the books and help you find the right choice for you! Highly recommend this store!

Super nice! Sat down to eat today my table was wobbly and my drink spilled over…not a huge deal, my books were safe in a bag and I’ve worked in food service before for about 7 years this happens. I got someones attention and tried to clean up as best as I could and another customer came over to help out. The barista came over with a cleaner bucket and towels for us to clean up with and they brought me a new drink. I ran up front registers after to grab a new bag for my books. 10/10 very friendly every time I come in here my absolute favorite Barnes and Noble.

Barnes & Noble has never let me down, I’ve almost always been able to find what I’m looking for and if I can’t, there’s plenty of interesting stuff to browse. I always find myself flipping through encyclopedias and animal field guides. Awesome establishment.

The State College store apparently does not care about hygiene or any form of cleanliness.I went in to use the restroom and found feces on both toilets. There was no toilet paper in the stalls, the trash cans were over flowed and trash was on the floor. The paper towel dispenser was a while other story. The excuse I got from the woman behind the counter was well we hired a company but they only came once. We are waiting for a new cleaning company to start. REALLY you don’t check the bathrooms in your business. I guess the ladies don’t clean because it’s already so disgusting. I will never go to that store again. I’ll post this on every social media platform that I can find. POOR EXCUSE, POOR ATTITUDE.

This is in regards to the Starbucks at the Barnes and Noble. Every single time I come to this Starbucks they are out of Cold Brew and I get offered an iced Americano or an Iced Coffee. I could see if it was here and there but no. Every single time. I haven’t been able to get a cold brew here in at least a year or longer.

I haven't been in a large bookstore like this in many years. It was a fantastic feeling to be surrounded by so many great books. The layout and organization of the store was fantastic. The service was fast and polite. I found all the books I was looking for plus a few more. You should go, and give yourself plenty of time to browse.

As far as book stores go its decent. But Ive had nothing but terrible service from thier Cafe. I dont know who places thier stock orders there. But they litteraly never have anything to make drinks. Over the last 6 months Ive been 6 or 7 times. And not once could I get a pink drink or anything with mocha. And last visit it took 20 minutes to get a Tall Carmel Frappacino. And it was a watered down mess with stick stuff all over the outside.

I'm about to enter the bathroom when a dude wearing a uniform not cop or military wearing a big handgun and carrying a duffle bag enters the hallway from an exterior entrance, pushes past me and goes into the mens room. So I made the decision to use the bathroom elsewhere.Good books though.
