If I could give no stars I would. Place is hardly ever open, "fresh" fruit is rotten with fruit flies all around, boxes stacked EVERYWHERE with shelves that are barely stocked. Self checkouts are usually broken. Really went downhill since it moved to the new location, and thats saying something as they were pretty much at rock bottom at the last location. Just go to the family dollar down the road.

4/2 8 am.The self checkout has more manners than the employees. Stopped in this morning to grab a few things before a trip, said good morning and the employee groaned and didn’t say anything.

This store has turned into the most disgusting store I've been in! I used to shop weekly for our family necessities. Now, I can't stand to step foot in your store. The floors look like they haven't been mopped in weeks. Every isle is cluttered with boxes. Shelves are empty because carts are sitting in the isle still waiting to be put away. You should be ashamed of yourselves for letting this store go downhill!

I rely on walking to this store anytime we forget an ingredient for dinner, but it drives me crazy that there's always either a line to check out OR you stand at the register for several minutes until an employee finally appears to check you out. The set-up is difficult to navigate with a stroller (narrow aisles have support beams coming down in the middle of them). The best part of the store is that it packs a ton of product into a small space. I can typically find everything nonperishable I need. Though there's no produce, there's a well-stocked freezer and refrigerator section. Great for inexpensive party supplies too.

Some isles are a bit narrow but the place is stuffed with deals. Staff here is always busy, and friendly. They have a clean public restroom and an ever full and changing clearance isle. The manager is almost always there, she is always helpful and always hustling. Complete opposite of the stand around with hands in the pockets ppl at Family Dollar down the street where I was once refused to be allowed to buy a pack of crackers since I was already told I could not get change for a five that the change machine at the car wash would not accept.

The people are always friendly and you can hardly ever go wrong with the selection here. If there is one thing I would change, the store is very small and its cramped. Often times you have to wait about a minute for the cashiers to show up. I think that is just due to low staffing.To make this a 5 star, I would say a bigger store that sells more food (as there is no grocery store in mt holly) and more staffing.

I guess it depends on who is working that day but often the music is loud and not pleasing. Often stand at register and wait till someone returns from doing whatever. I was there once when a salesman/vender came in for an order and the manager made him wait till she went outside and had her smoke. I work in retail and didnt think it very fair to him. Why is it right that those with a smoking addiction get more breaks than those that don't? I bought an item at this location and it came up priced higher than what was on the shelftag. I was told the tag was wrong but they would adjust it anyway. Two weeks later I bought another of same item; same thing happened. One week later bought another; same thing. If they arent going to fix it, Im going to keep arguing it. I only shop this location because of convenience. I need to let you know this location needs some attention. Cleanliness, Organization, and Good Service would be a plus. Please start by cleaning the front doors😖

Love getting nice cards there. Always need something that I can pick up there real quick. Love getting the after Holiday clearance things for next years little gifts I can use. I like your store.

The staffing at this DG store is substandard. On more than one occasion I’ve had to leave my merchandise on the checkout counter and walk out the door because no one is available to take my money and ring me up. Luckily there is a Family Dollar a block away that always has someone manning the cash register.

For a $1.00 purchase they wanted me to use a credit card or wait 5 minutes to pay cash while they rebooted the system. Absolutely crazy!

It is the closest store to me and it is convenient. The staff is never happy but the store does often have what I need, even if I pay a little more than some other places. Lately, I have driven further because I'd rather go somewhere elses.

They always have something I want or need. There's no grocery store in my town, so Dollar General comes in handy when you need something quick. They don't have everything but more often than not they have what I need.

They have so much stuff, there clean, they have clothing and plus size, which is what I wear & it's not super expensive, which is wonderful! I've always loved Dollar General and there prices are a little lower then Family Dollar

Things sitting in aisles can't get at shelves or see what is on shelves. Nothing like any other Dollar General store around. All the others are friendly, neat and spacious.

I went to Dollar General looking for a butter dish. I found one there after looking at several other stores first. The employees were very nice.

I've gone here three times and each time there was an employee smoking in the doorway. Not cool to have to walk through with a toddler. :(
