Consistently out of product. Not well stocked. Can't blame it on covid although they probably do. This GIANT used to have everything and now it's hit or miss. Their prices have gone up in excess especially produce. I find myself shopping elsewhere most of the time anymore.

Giant Food Store located on West Sproul Road in Springfield is organized, clean, meticulously maintained, and easily navigated. I am a big fan of their salad bar; chicken salad, seafood salad, and fresh veggies and fruits. And, everything you might need for a party is available from personalized cakes, greeting cards, and mylar balloons. The floral department is fabulous with fresh floral arrangements and potted plants. You will note from the photos how the aisles are clear of clutter and the food displays are organized. The employees at the pharmacy are super friendly and helpful. This is a lovely market.

On Thursday 4/4/2024 I came to this giant for the first time and I went there to get a couple snacks for my children and stuff to make dinner. I get to the register and my children one being a 3 year nonverbal/no communicating autistic child and the youngest one being one and hyperactive I am trying to pay things already overwhelmed because they didn’t stay still IN THE CART not bothering anyone else around while I mentioned to them numerous times to sit in a nice way in Spanish but once again one is completely nonverbal/ doesn’t respond to anything because she is AUTISTIC and the other one just being a One year old! another cashier that was before the lady on my cashier side started harassing me bothering me about my children falling. Once again as a mother I tried already THEY DONT LISTEN! And I kept hearing the old black female with I believe either dreads or braids still continuesly talking behind me about my children MIND YOU I WASNT EVEN ON HER REGISTER I was in the one after hers. She was minding MY BUSINESS making me uncomfortable the whole entire time I spent there trying to pay for my things. That was complete harassment specially to a person who is dealing with an autistic daughter and is already overwhelmed. You guys need to check your staff and tell them to mind their business and people like that should not be working bothering other people like that.

I mainly go to giant and no other food stores other than acme from time to time and Whole Foods when I find the time. I typically go to a different giant but found myself in the area this evening and ended up coming here. They were out of so many things which wasn’t the issue but they kept announcing over the speaker what time they were closing(started at 5:30pm) stated it was 545 when it was 530 and five minutes later stated it was 5:50 and they would be closing in 10 minutes when it WAS at the time around 5:40. My son even looked at his phone and was like it’s not 5:50 🤔. So I was looking for egg role wraps. The ?MANAGER? Who was rude as ever walked upTo us and stated that they were closed (it is 550) they close at 6 PM. I let him know what I was looking for and he says yea yea well we are out of everything we don’t have it. I said so your not even going to assist me with checking and that is your Unprofessional and RUDE response ok. Got it. I walked away to go toward the checkout and he yells that if I keep walking he is going to lock people in the store because they are closed. They were very rude and lying about the time like people don’t have phones on them and can clearly see the REAL time. I definitely won’t be back to this location. Ghetto.

I did some shopping early in the morning and it was peaceful and quiet. This particular Giant had everything I wanted, so I had a nice experience. It was very clean, and the self checkout lady was kind.

We are from Louisville, and we don’t have a GIANT store. Amazing wild blueberry pie! Great selection items. The woman supervising the self check out was very kind and crazy helpful. A great experience.

The store is usually not too busy to make it difficult to shop. They are occasionally out of something I want, but is largely well stocked.I love that I can use the app to scan as I shop, bagging the way I want and keeping track of what I've bought. My criticism would be that they need to update the app so when you get flagged for audit they can do it right from your phone, and the really really need to have at least one or two check out registers dedicated to only Scan It users. It takes me less than 60 seconds to check out and pay, but I often wait in a long line behind shoppers with a full cart using the self checkout. It kind of defeats the purpose sometimes.

This is an excellent grocery store! They have a huge selection of items including many that are healthy. The store is kept clean at all times (their friendly robot keeps an eye for spills) and the employees are all super nice and helpful. Overall very good Giant location!

Can't stand this location! Was just told to my face that the policy is to teach customer's how to fix their issue at the self checkout rather than do it for them LMAO probably a lie to justify her lack of customer service skills and overall lazy approach to work but it makes the company look ridiculous.

Things seem more expensive at this Giant compared to other Giants a few miles down the road. Also, they're constantly having issues with self check out. Either it erroneously accuses customers of theft, or it doesn't take cash. It's very frustrating when you're trying to get in and out. Check out lines are long because there aren't a lot of cashiers. Staff is friendly, and they're usually well stocked.

They have a nice selection of prepared food. I particularly like the sushi selection. Parking is usually pretty good, I can normally find something close to the entrance. Plenty of cashiers are open the times I’ve been there.

I had to let you know about this amazing cashier Debbie.On January 15th at 2:11, I had wrapped up my shopping and proceeded to checkout. Just as fast as my sister put her groceries on the belt , Debbie had not only rung up the order but bagged it.Then my order she proceeded to do the same way. We were both so impressed by her. That's not only the fastest but the best bagger.We usually bag our own because we are both very particular about how they are packed. Debbie can ring and pack our groceries any time.Please tell EVERYONE what an awesome employee you have in DEBBIE.This is a well oiled store as well. The store is doing tricky business like many stores about, offering 4 for $5. I wasn't lazy, and I went back to the store for my "Justice," so on 3 different times, I have a conversation with the customer service person. She explained, and she proved a photo on her phone. She's right, but she never said sorry for any inconvenience on my side. On 3 different ways... On my remarks that next time I will go to nearby Ackme. She replied you're welcome.

Purchased sticky buns this morning, went home and found a piece of hair on one of them.Took it back around 8:30, no one at the customer service desk. I ask for a manager on duty they tell me he will be right back. I wait.Then a lady from self check out comes around and says the manager Ryan is on break and will be back in a half an hour, and there is nothing we can do. Either wait or get another one. (No, I would like a refund) Customer service doesn't open up until 9 anyway. (Withan attitude)My issue is. Lady from self check out had an attitude, why?? I'm the one who found hair in the item that I purchased.I did call corporate about all of this, but what really ticked me off is the fact that I went back at 9 waiting at customer service, no one there.Ryan came from talking to the rude lady at self check and didn't even say sorry about finding hair in the item, or about the situation. He only said you're returning this and do you want cas, and have a nice day. Like they have no problem with the fact I found hair in your product.Thank you to the two cashiers who tried to help and apologized, before the rude lady came over.Ryan and self check out lady(wish I got her name) are rude.Also, how no other person on the floor when the managers on break? I don't care what time customer service opens I have an issue and should get serviced, not wait half an hour just to get $5 back.

Excellent location. Full stocked grocery section, bakey, pharmacy on-site, deli counter, as well as a hot food counter. Large parking lot with a very good amount of disabled bays. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Surprisingly the beer prices are very reasonable. The clerk at checkout was great. Exceptional service, but make sure to bring your ID because the computer wants to scan on it.

No stars for the person working at the flower shop. You're supposed to be gentle when working with flowers. This person was tough handling the flowers. No wonder why people always look for the better flowers because all of them are messed up.

Great natural and gluten free foods selection. The store is always very clean. The robot is weird, though. The addition of the wine and beer a few years ago was nice. Had my first experience with curbside pickup a few weeks ago and it was very efficient. I don't mind paying $3 extra to have someone else do my shopping AND load it up in my car. The exchange of an item they replaced for an unavailable item was easy and required no extra work on my part.

I was from out the state getting desserts for a rehearsal dinner. Everyone asked what bakery did I use? When I replied Giant food store, they raved about the good taste and freshness. Everything was made by Giant.
