First visit and Dr. Honse was wonderful. She took the time to explain the dental extraction I am looking to have performed on my 13 year old dog, that my regular vet does not do. The staff is welcoming, and as I have terriers I appreciate the NO retractable leash policy, payment in the exam room so I'm not struggling to watch my dog while checking out, and being walked out by a tech in case there maybe other dogs in our path. Very clean, well run office. I will definitely be back! Thank you.

Over the last year we have had to deal with a very difficult behavior issue with our dog. Dr Miller was kind, compassionate, understanding and willing to listen to our every concern and issue. She never judged and was always willing to give help where needed. She is amazing and we will never switch our vet because of her! I will always trust my pets in her care!After making our extremely difficult decision we received a beautiful card signed by the entire office. I have a 10-yr Shih Tzu and we are relatively new to the area. We have had (2) not so great experiences with Vets within the year we have been here. I was getting discouraged so I reached out to my Groomer and she recommended River Valley. I was over-the-top happy to find EVERYONE on Staff is so kind and helpful and the facility is IMMACULATE and shows pride of ownership. My first time at River Valley after a big corporation bought out my previous vet. I wish I had always gone to River Valley! They accommodated my appointment preference easily. The facility is beautiful. The staff was wonderful. They even called after my visit th make sure my pet was ok. The price was more than reasonable. I will never go anywhere else. I have been taking my dogs to RV since moving into the area about 13 years ago. In the past, but not now, I’ve be burned by various veterinarians, so I’m hypercritical. What a great practice is there at River Valley!! All care is science, evidence based, veterinary medicine, but with a great focus in human love and care. I just had my puppy spayed by Dr. Honse, she is an outstanding veterinary surgeon, skillfully handling all aspects of care (anesthesia, sterile technique, surgery, etc.) The veterinary technicians are grounded in a broad knowledge base and lovingly care for my dogs. The front desk and the flow through the practice during an appointment keeps you moving especially during an exceptionally busy day. River Valley DOES NOT nickle and dime you for every little question, tick and aspirin, etc. that I might have regarding my dogs, they provide various promotional savings which adds up in further savings.

I cannot begin, explain how caring, attentive and wonderful every staff member was. Unfortunately, my first encounter with Dr. L and his team was because my dog Bella was very sick. They walked me through the whole process and came to my house to put her to sleep in her home. Everyone we encountered at the office was so helpful and empathetic. Dr L called me on his day off, which was a saterday to update me so I wasn’t upset all weekend with Bella’s test results. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a very progressed cancer. However, he explained everything in great detail in referred me to a specialist. Everyone took the time and actually got onto the floor with Bella in the exam room, so she felt more comfortable. Katrina in particular went above and beyond to make the hardest decision you’ll ever have to make the easiest she could make it. She called me in the evenings and checked on me and Bella! There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this veterinarian office is. Thank you to all of you and I have referred everyone I know to you guys. I will continue to bring all four of my other rescue dogs to you in the future. Rip Bella 🐶🌈❤️🙏

I have been going to River Valley for 9 years now. I just had to have my 14 year old dog put down yesterday and the caring nature of Dr. Linkenheimer and his tech made this experience much easier to handle. I have been to many vets, and the care was always so "matter of fact" and cold....It is nice to know that there is still a vet that treats the pet and the pet owner with care and compassion.

My dog had surgery for three masses removed. Dr. Honse documented everything in the original consultation and KNEW EXACTLY WHERE all three masses were. This was even documented and signed the day of the surgery(noted where the three masses were for removal). She neglected the documentation and removed a mass that wasn't even noted nor pointed out during the consultation and the drop off day of surgery. She then slammed and blamed my father, took no responsibility but when I asked her on the phone if the mass was documented she said yes. So she knew where the third mass was to be removed and neglected to remove the mass and then wanted to charge me for another mass removal. Dr. Honse is the worst surgeon I have ever dealt with and she knows she messed up and didn't take any responsibility for it. Never go to this Vet for mass removals, they do not do their job professionally nor correctly.

I've been taking my dogs to see Dr. Linkenheimer for a little over 10 years. I love how he takes the extra time to explain any and all complications in easy to understand terms. There are veterinarians within minutes of my home and I've taken pets to a few of them and came away unsatisfied and feeling like I've been robbed. It takes me about 45 minutes to get to his office, I wouldn't give him up for the world.

Dr. Richard Linkenheimer is knowledgeable, dependable and cares! He and his team have patched up my (very active) dog many times. From all the skin/worm issues we got resolved at the time of her adoption, to her regular check ups, and her emergency surgery follow ups, I make the hour drive because RVVH provides THE BEST care. I've gone to other places during lockdowns and in emergencies, nothing compares to Molly's regular Dr. Linkenheimer at River Valley. We've had some nasty cuts from broken glass, and she's healed better than I could have hoped for because of the care she received at River Valley Vet Hospital in Springdale.

What a dramatic difference from our last vet, who walked into the room without even introducing himself to my pup or even me. Dr. L. came in the room and immediately sat on the floor to introduce himself and examine my dog. The tech was so friendly that my dog just went with her in the back to get weighed and bloodwork. She doesn't normally go off with anyone if I am not there. My pup got a little wigged when it was time for her shots and jumped up on the bench with me - they let me just hug her while she got her shots. A 100% better experience over the old vet. Highly recommend!
