The hot dogs were spectacular. Really enjoyed the Pittsburgh street yinzer. And I got a Kansas City chief to go for later. Yum. The owner and staff were friendly and personable. They humored me and took pictures of my hotdogs for me. The owner was very knowledgeable about hotdogs and different hotdog establishments across the country. He asked which hotdog place I loved most and told me lots of other places to try. Will definitely be back for more. Thanks for an awesome enjoyable dog!

Best specialty dogs you can get in western pa… if you haven’t been and enjoy a great dog than I suggest you give this place your business. Also if it’s during lent and their fish Sammy is available… don’t pass that up either! Took my 10 year old here for the first time tonight. In the car she asked when we can go back.. staff is the friendliest staff I have ever seen

AWESOME HOT DOGS!!! ... They have so many ways you can customize to your desire!!! ... Sausage sandwich was amazing and then I had a mind blowing experience I thought my cousin had ordered a large ice cream sundae and I was told it was called was a walking taco ... If you are into EXCELLENT food even the French fries this is the place ... I live in NJ and I loved this Pittsburgh experience!!!

This hidden gem is a must try for anyone. Amazing ownership and staff that go above and beyond to make sure every customer is satisfied. It’s more than just hotdogs. All beef dogs, natural case dogs, kielbasa, hot sausage, jalapeño cheddar sausage, a meatball hoagie that took me back to my childhood, the list goes on. With new items always being added. The sides are homemade, and If you’re indecisive grab a BBQ side plate to sample them all. (Pictured is a custom dog the “zam-coney” all beef dog on a toasted Mancini roll, chili, shredded cheddar, onion, Giardiniera, and sport peppers, with a small side of RBC fries)

This place is a gem in this town. Absolutely wonderful staff, that takes the time to not only know your order, but their customers themselves. I stop in every chance I get. There isn’t 1 item on the menu I haven’t enjoyed. A few items I was skeptical about, like the wheeling dog, but ended up loving it. The boski kielbasa is another favorite of mine and I can add the Santa Fe dog to that list. From the first bite i was sold on it. The crisp toasted wrap on it, the crunch of the corn chips, the sweet and slight spice of the chili, I could go on and on. A new favorite for sure. Highly recommend. The Philly popper is also a recommend to try. Nice combo is salty, crunchy, and creamy. Just grab a few extra napkins for this one. (Santa Fe left Philly popper dog right)

Pittsburgh Street Dogs is a great hot dog shop in Springdale PA. The hot dogs and fries we had were delicious! There is seating inside and outside, with the outside being dog friendly. The staff here are really nice and they brought condiments and napkins to our table outside when we got our food. They also offered water for our dog as it was a hot day. Definitely recommend trying their delicious hot dogs. They offer in person orders at the counter or online ordering though DoorDash or Uber Eats! I cannot praise this hotdog haven enough! From the moment I walk in, the owner, who knows me by name after just a handful of visits, extends a warm greeting. The proximity to my husband's workplace adds an extra layer of convenience, and here's where it gets truly special. The owner, aware of my husband's routine, inquiries about his lunch schedule and preferences, and ensures his meal is prepared perfectly in time for his arrival. The dedication and attention to detail are truly commendable. The food itself is a masterpiece; every bite is a flavor explosion. This place isn't just a hotdog joint; it's a culinary oasis where personalized service meets outstanding taste. Kudos to the incredible owner for making each visit memorable!

This place does hot dogs the way they should be done, and they offer so much more than just hot dogs! They make those perfect traditional dogs, like a New Yorker and a Chicago dog (pictured.) They also let you build your own dog just how you like it. The Notorious RBC Fries are TO DIE FOR! (also pictured) Everything you could ever want on your fries. ❤️The owner said he noticed there wasn’t a good place to get a hot dog around here when he moved to the area so he rose to the occasion, and we are SO GLAD he did!!! WE LOVE IT HERE!

This is a small place but all hot dog joints are not big at all. As always I enjoyed my Chicago dog because to me that's how I compare hot dog shoppe to hot dog shoppe. If you can make I mean Chicago dog with the right tomatoes and sport peppers than you might get on my list. And yes this place can make one. I do believe the place needs a little ventilation but they do offer outside seating. Today I tried the pizza fries they were okay but will probably order I different kind next time the portion was alot so I couldn't eat it all but the prices are very reasonable. Go try it out for yourself and tell me how you like it.Parking: Few parking spaces in the lot because they share it with the Tai place next door

Hot dogs were 💣🔥🤤 so good. Stopped by on a lovely day and got to sit outside. The staff was super friendly and the guy who took our order was awesome. Had a regular dog and a beef dog. The cheese sauce was amazing. Also tried the garlic parm fries. Try the BBQ chips! What a nice little spot to grab lunch. Prices very reasonable. There’s a few parking spots out front. Yum.

Finally got to try this place out. Was not disappointed. I had the KC cheif and a plain dog. Wow loved the flavor explosion in the KC dog in each bite. The plain hotdog I got was the house casing dog with a great snap to it. I could eat a half dozen of those 👌. My wife got the hot sausage with the works which she loved. Friendly owner enjoyed all the hotdog talk while we waited. Happy to have a local hot dog shop. We'll definitely be back.

Service was fast and friendly. Topping choices are extensive. My son went all beef Smiths skinless and I went pork and beef in a lamb natural casing. Despite having several online and call in orders we were served in just a few minutes and the dogs were brought out to our table. Our 18th hot dog shop locally and this was one of our top choices. My son scored them 8.5/10. Give them a try!! We will definitely be back.

Always drove past this place and wondered what it was like. Well, today I wondered no more. Small sit in area, with nice staff. Nice selection of different types of hot dogs as well. I recommend the kc chief, very good with the taste of everything that came on it, without overpowering the different combination of flavors. Will definitely be back.

Fabulous hot dogs , always a pleasure and they have plenty of dog options and specialty foods . They make their own foods , chili, mac n cheese, nacho cheese , etc. and source local products . Products like Mancini , Heinz, Smiths, Turners , which is a super bonus . Stop by , you will not be disappointed and the low prices will blow you away . Super place to take the family . Free parking front lot .

Finally had a chance to eat at Pgh Dogs and was not disappointed! The hot dogs were great as the French fries(air fried) less guilt and baked beans were very tasty! The owners warm and friendly made such a first time experience wanting to return soon.

Just tried this place for the first time. Had the Kansas City hot dog, and the Philly cheese steak hot dog. Both were awesome, but I liked the Philly more my wife liked the Kansas City more. So it looks like a tie, why not keep both on the menu, because they were both winners!!! This place is awesome, we will be back!!!

The hot dogs were good, rather good for the price but nothing sheer fancy. The loaded fries on the other hand were only loaded in price not toppings, the fries were pretty solid for appearing to be non fried, but the lack of cheese and burnt bacon toppings were the lack luster part of that meal. The two men working were incredibly friendly though.
