The remodel mentioned on the sign outside made it slightly confusing when it came to find what I was looking for, but when I was ready to go the cashier was at the register in a flash, and when there was a minor glitch with the card I was trying to use it got resolved quickly and with a very friendly and positive attitude. I walked out of there feeling better than when I walked in.

Almost everytime I go in there I have to wait at the register just to be wrung up because the majority of them are all out smoking together! The only ones I get good service from are the younger ones that don't smoke.

My husband and two children and I went into the store to get a few things. I ended up going in the clothing rows and everything was gone. At the end of the row there was a open box with the clothes that were on clearance in the box. I grabbed a few things and we went to cash out. During the cashing out the manager said those weren’t for sale. And we weren’t aloud to be there. We said that was wrong. And she was very rude and disrespectful. As my husband me and two children were walking out the “owner” said a few words to us and then the cashier came out and got in my face. She hit me. My husband tried to stop it. She stopped hitting me and started hitting my husband. Then the owner started to hit me. All infront if my children. The owner said the police were on there way so we walked to the car to get our children out of the cold and put our stuff away. As we were doing that. Two vehicles raced up that either the owner or cashier called. They smelled like complete alcohol. The one man tackled my husband and was beating on him. When i went to try and break it up the guy that had my husband down on the ground ended up punching me in the chest. the owner grabbed me and they thru me on the ground. She laid ontop of me and wouldn’t let me get up. My children were in the car screaming. Someone said that the cops were going to be here soon and as soon as that was said I was left up. My husband was left up. They broke my husbands phone case and screen protector I had it in my hand taping everything and she hit it out of my hand. Dollar general is a place you should be able to take your children. My husband and I both have scraps and bruises all over our bodies. Which again was done infront of a 5 year old and a 1 year old. My son never wants to go to the dollar store again. He was terrified. My whole family was. This was one of the worst things I have ever had done to me. I had to lay there and watch my husband be kicked and and choked. I couldn’t do anything. The owner of this dollar store literally held me down. Which later we found out she is not the owner she just runs that store. The other cashier was setting watching everything and crying. My son got out of the car and ran to my husband and he got shoved to stay away he fell and hit the curb. Now 3 out of 4 people in our family are hurt.Now as a mother and father We as parents are going to have to have my son in therapy to talk to someone. Out of me being punched kicked having my hair pulled and thrown on the ground and my husband being punched kicked choked scratched and threatened my son is going to have to go though way more. This is NOT a family establishment. I have video evedence and plenty of photos.

They are nice helpful and have alot of stuff in the area. some people can't ride in the car very far so it's amazing where they are located

They recently added Fairlife milk to their Dairy freezer, love this stuff especially the chocolate milk
