The woman running the store was very knowledgeable and helpful. She watched me jog twenty feet after listening to my concerns with running and was able to recommend three pairs of shoes that made running on the treadmill in store significantly more comfortable.Then, after checking out, she gave me the card to a good podiatrist if I still had problems with the concerns we discussed.Oh, I almost forgot! The shop dog is super friendly and enjoys being pet.

This place is great. They helped me find shoes that really work for me. I think I was wearing really bad sneakers while trying to get back into running after for a few years. These people are awesome it's one of those stores that you go to once that you'll never go to another store of that kind again. You'd only come back here to shop.I think my Mom met the woman that runs this store at that yearly event where they shut down butler pike and have a pedestrian day. So my Mom told me to come here that the owner was cool. Or she met her on election day when my Mom was working the polls or something idk.

I came looking for a pair of running shoes but needed guidance being that I have shin splints and plantar fasciitis. I was greeted with a warm welcome and the cutest dog! Like what more could you ask for? I was helped immediately after walking in! I told the owner my issues she goes in the back and grabs 4 different pairs of shoes. Try them all on…. All are great but the Asics GT-2000 12 they were the best overall comfort for me and when I tell you I run with absolutely no pain from the shin splints or PF ! 1000% recommend Born to Run!

I haven’t been to this store in years. I went back today because every time I order sneakers on line I get shoes that don’t fit well & hurt my feet.Today this store was crazy busy. But even with that, my husband & I received the best service and good recommendations. We left with a great sneaker that is so comfy & fits well (new edition Mizuno) at a fair price!I will continue to purchase all my sneakers here. It is important to support small businesses

I've only gone twice, and I'm not really a runner, but I had to get out of the sandals I was wearing year round, which were slowly falling apart. The owner was incredible and I was able to get very comfortable shoes that work well for me both visits.

Staff was extremely helpful! They adjust suggestions based on the way you run. There's is a treadmill in store so you can try out different styles. This kind of customer service is the reason I will always buy my running shoes from this store.

After reading the reviews , from many running shoe stores ,I selected Born to Run based on the reviews and knowledge of the fit, Hilary was accomadating and went out of her way to fit me with the proper shoe from all of my info i provided about the pronation and neurapathy of my feet . She will watch you walk to determine the right fit , I did spend some time there , trying on the selected shoes for my condition . I am glad I drove an hour to her store . My feet thank you Hilary!

Always glad to come upon a local shop that earns your business. Stopped in to pick up registration for a race, left with a pair of new sneakers. Friendly staff sized up my gait and made excellent recommendations. I might pay less shopping online, but I spent less time trying on shoes based on their professional evaluation (all of which were a noticeable improvement) than I would have comparison shopping online based on generic reviews. I left knowing I had made the right purchase rather than waiting to see if the online reviews matched the experience.

Wish I started coming here years ago! After buying my running shoes online for a decade, I stopped in today and was promptly helped. We did a fit because it’s been 12 years since my last, and discussed my concerns with the shoes I’ve been running in. The staff had me try those on, listening to my feedback and picking the next few pairs to test based on my feedback. Left in a pair I’d never even thought about and my first run felt amazing. Best store to buy shoes at. I started working out a lot about 4 years ago. I always had issues with my feet and legs hurting when I started working out pretty regularly. A friend of mine told me about born to run. I went and was blown away by there customer service and knowledge. The owner watched me walk and looked at my feet. She brought out a few pairs of shoes that would work for my feet. Right away I noticed a difference. Since then I have never gone anywhere else and haven't had any issues with my legs or feet. Even if you don't workout it is so important to have the right shoes on. I highly recommend this place!

Went looking for a wide toe box zero drop pair of shoes, Was referred here by another shoe store in Lansdale. Hilary was very knowledgeable and suggested Altra's. She helped my try on quite a few pairs until we found the perfect fit. Lower price than I expected too, that's always nice. I'll be back when I wear these out.

i came here a couple years ago to get some sneakers with a gift card i had. the woman who worked there was extremely rude and said that i had flat feet when i knew for a fact that i did not have flat feet. she made me run on a treadmill in the store and continued to say oh yea, yea, you definitely have flat feet and recommended a pair of sneakers for flat-footed people and i said ok, fine. you're supposed to be the expert and i had a gift card so i bought the sneakers. i wore those sneakers on and off because they were uncomfortable for the past couple years and recently, i started wearing them again for exercising in the park and my feet and ankles started to hurt a lot. i wasn't even running. i was WALKING and they hurt. i thought it was because i hadn't exercised in a while so i kept wearing them. this went on for several days. finally, i couldn't bear it anymore and i switched over to my normal nike sneakers and was able to exercise normally without any pain at ALL. the woman who sold me those sneakers does not know what she's talking about and caused me a lot of foot and ankle pain. i won't ever return here. save yourself feet agony and stay away from here.

I've been shopping here for 15 years and will attest to Hilary's wide knowledge about proper shoes depending on a runner's foot. As a runner it's important to purchase from a store that can fix problems if a shoe comes to hurt your foot or is defective. She carries a large selection of the top brands - Brookes, Asics, Altra - real running brands, as well as Nike, Adidas and the likes. I just purchased the Altra Torin 2.0 and wonder where this shoe has been all my life. I've never had issues with service and can always find what I'm looking for. Keep up the good work.
