Love Kennie's Markets! This grocery store is very clean! The store is well laid out and very bright. The aisles are nice and wide. The aisles are marked well so finding what you are looking for is easy.The produce, meat/seafood and bakery sections are amazing. You will find excellent produce, fresh meats/seafood and tasty baked goods.The store carries a wide variety of pantry staples. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Clean store. Good fried chicken. My only issue is when they installed self checkout they should have put in one or two that takes cash /credit. Banks charge a fee for credit card use and that is passed onto the customer in higher pricing.

Very $$$$$$ for same products you can get cheaper somewhere else,,,,they take atvantage of a go to only place in the middle of gettysburg and spring grove,,, for somthing quick yes ,,,to do a whole grocery shopping go somewhere else if you can

I have worked there for 2 1/2 years and it was completed trash. Management sucked and when there was an issue NOTHING got done about it. I worked customer service. I got called a scum bag by David the Store manager for calling off due to my diabetes. I was doing my managers job for him and when I addressed the issue with David I was told to “meet my manager in the middle” and help him do his work. Just today I was in Kennies talking to the customer service representative and David told me to either get out of his store or buy something. That was highly inappropriate giving I am now a customer and was not disrupting no one doing their job. I WOULD NOT suggest working at any Kennies.

They don't stock many items we get at Giant or Weis. But only place for miles, so why not go?

Hot food bar has been terrible. Food is always dried out.bi would not recommend it. Use to be very good. Overall store is great.

Overall it's not too bad here. They are losing two stars for the frequent visits where I've gotten home only to realize there are expired items. They also have now passed the cost of bags on to the customer with an additional 10 cent cost per bag and are calling it reusable. The bags are just more expensive plastic with a nice kennies logo on it. If I had to bet they are a penny a bag and the mark up is 10x.

Not a local. Not a everyday customer. Bought a bag of cubed cheese. Price was high. Opened up the bag going down the road, half of it was like slime the other parts were dried out and discolored like it had not been properly refrigerated at some point. Gross. Never going back.

Close to home, so it's easy to grab things quickly! Some items are too highly priced while others are priced just right! I enjoy going when there are a lot of sales.

Great store. The employees are all super nice and helpful. Not to mention that Kennies's Market is the ONLY grocery store in the Dover York area East berlin, Spring Grove Area that has Easter Hams advertised and available to purchase

I've just recently moved to the area and have never been into Kennie's. I really like the variety of goods they sell. I can get a lot of stuff at Giant or wise but there are some things I can only get at Kennie's. I think it might just have to become my go-to grocery store. One of the things I like the most was the no sugar added. Apple butter. Seriously, the best apple butter I've ever had hands down. Of course, now that I tell you this you're going to eat it all and I'll go and there won't be any on the shelf. I hope that's not the case.

Why are we WEIGHING soup & not charging by the liquid measurements eg; pint/quart???THAT REALLY bothers me about this place.Pay for lunch by the pound, I get that, and that's normal. Their hot foods are pretty good.The soups are decent too...but WHY charge by the pound? <--THAT IS A RIPOFF!!!!So, enjoy the hot food bar and AVOID the soup bar at all costs (<--pun intended).

I shop there because it’s close but the fresh seafood is sold after it expires so make sure to check the date!!! I have forgotten to check twice now and each time I got it home and went to cook it something was wrong. The shrimp is obviously refrozen if it’s bad when it thaws at home and stinks up the fridge. Today’s prize was slimy catfish filet. It expired 2 days ago, bought yesterday, and thrown out after they were glued in their own slime to the styrofoam container they’re in.I returned bread a few days ago because it wasn’t even baked the whole way through and the cashier’s response was “well nobody else returned it”. 😂 So not the point. I just basically don’t like to eat raw bread dough.Shop there because it’s local, but be careful of fresh food made there.

Kennie's has a decent selection for a smaller, independent grocery store. Prices are pretty high on most items though. But that's what you get when it's not a big chain store. They have enough of what you need when you don't feel like driving a half hour.

For a small community market, Kennie's does an outstanding job. They strive to give customers what they want, to include buying produce locally whenever possible. The produce, seafood. deli, bakery and meat departments rival any of the bigger stores and often surpass them. It is rare that I can't find what I want at Kennie's.Pricing, especially considering store flyers and sales, is in line with other chains and I appreciate not having to run all over the county!All of the department managers are willing to bend over backwards to assist and I find the staff to be pleasant and friendly.Spring Grove is greatly enhanced by having Kennie's here.

is a nice store and have a good variety but for being the only super market in spring grove they take advantage of it the price of almost every thing is double and almost triple what you will pay in some other super market that's a little off the way

Kennie's is a very nice store! They have some VERY TASTY baked goods! Pies, cookies, Pumpkin Rolls, Whoopie lpies, and various other items. They're usually always good. They also have good broasted chicken & soups.You could get everything at the deli, without even going through the rest of the store. Good stuff!Their meats are also very good! The BBQ chicken is SUPER DELICIOUS!! Just put it in the oven. It comes out very nicely done...They also have alot of other good things there, too. The only thing with Kennie's is PRICING. Watch them. There are some really decent buys there. There are also some that arent the best. Know what you are willing to pay for your items. Use wisdom. Otherwise, it's a great store!

Check dates before you put it in your cart. Today (12/6) I picked up some yogurt (Stonyfield Banilla) and it went out of date on 11/27. Reason why I knew to look is one time I was in here and bought some organic milk for my kids and when I went to give it to them the next morning it poured out chunky and smelled. Looked at the date and it went out it 2 weeks prior. I don't shop here much because of prices, but if in 3 trips I have these two experiences I wonder how much spoiled product regular shoppers must be buying.

Britney in deli is wonderful, always polite n in top of things. Cashier, Janet is great n very friendly! Kendra at customer service is very helpful as well! The store has great, dedicated staff that tries their hardest to make the customer feel good and taken care of! I love my local market, n when I have a problem, Ralph always tackles it head on! Keep it up!

Really over priced on a lot of things. But it's nice to have a small local shop when I just need to grab milk or little things I forgot for a specific meal.
