After a hike at Ellis Woods park area, we satisfied our ice cream cravings at this nice little farm shop in a real farm setting. There were about 10 different ice cream flavors, all good ones I would say. We got local farm milk and raw honey also. The prices were reasonable and the customer service staff was very helpful. Besides food for humans, they had some pet food items also. See the pictures for more!

The best place for fresh milk and cream. Also offers fresh eggs, lunchmeats, fresh baked goods- grab the coffee cake when they have it! Now offering some local produce that is lovely . Courteous staff

I recently had the great opportunity to visit this amazing little farm store and I’m so grateful to have found my new favorite hidden gem. I live 45 minutes away but it is worth it for me and I rave to all my friends and family that it’s a must for them as well. The dairy products are always fully stocked and fresh and the meat products are worth it! Way better than anything you can get at the grocery store. Not to mention you can feel good supporting LOCAL young farmers.

Sadly, this farm store is going downhill. I won't be surprised if any day now this store will be closed. The women that is the owner is beyond rude, never smiles nor says hello which is unprofessional when welcoming a customer. It seems like none of these workers that work there are happy, they are all miserable and no wonder working with the cranky owner. Also the owner goes her employees dirty. The prices were way too high and it seems like things are never in stock. One day I walk in, there is no milk. The other day, they barely had any choices of ice-cream. I heard from the grape-vine that this business is having financial hardship and the owner father supported this business and still is.

Great service and high quality products, definitely try the chocolate milk!! It’s my favorite! With as much problems in the world right now especially against small farmers they still make the best products they can! It must be so hard being young farmers but they do it! Also if you like red meat their beef is delicious, truly the best steak I’ve ever had!! Love the farm, keep it up!

I absolutely love this place my wife Olga and I are there every 2 days my kids have been raised on this milk the owner Sean treats us like we are family and if he is still at the counter shortly after close he has opened the door knowing we only give our kids his milk they always have amazing local baked goods jelly's and jams I would recommend this place whether your looking for a hoagie or some garlic powder they get you covered

I cannot get enough of this little.cute blissfully farm. Perfect way to spend and Saturday or Sunday with friends or family. As a local to this farm the chocolate milk is a stable in my fridge. Can’t wait to bring my family visiting in from California here in spring!

Been going here for years best milk around.The only thing negative I can say since they changed ownership. Is count your change three times in the last six months I have been short changed $5 each time. I caught it the first two times. and they got me again yesterday. They were busy maybe they have a problem counting change I don't know. I guess it's my fault also because I didn't look at my change until I got home. Sad part is the three times I was shortchanged It wasn't young kids at the register. It was older adults.

I live locally and only go to Kolbs in a pinch due to horrible customer service and overpriced products. The workers are unfriendly, grouchy and never acknowledge you when you come into the store. Never had a conversation with any employees in the 20+ years have been coming here. I was once there when the owner was the cashier and he was pretty much the same. No hellos, no thank you’s, no smiles. I guess it’s a trickle down effect🤷🏻‍♀️

All their products are amazing. Yes these things are more expensive but you're getting it from the source! Anyone that doesn't understand this needs to do research on these types of things before commenting otherwise. Keep up the great work as young business owners!

This charming country store has a wonderful variety of fresh dairy products which are made on-site plus baked goods, and items from local artists for great prices, and the staff were super friendly. The chocolate milk is delicious!

Best priced local milk and cream I have ever found. Or you can go for ice cream, deli meats/cheese, local produce, grass fed beef, PA Dutch baked goods, and so much more. I first went thinking it wasn't going to be more then a farm stand but it's true farm store and dairy tucked away. Closed on Sundays.

It’s becoming our new family tradition to have little outings to Kolb‘s Farm with friends and family. We are delighted to enjoy Kolb’s icecream in the summer, seasonal events, Amoroso pretzels in the cool weather evenings and enjoy visiting the sweet cows year round. My family loves Kolb’s so much that we decided to have our first child’s one year old birthday party at the farm. It was a big deal for us, because we had our baby in October 2020 and hadn’t had an opportunity to celebrate during the pregnancy, or for the first several months.I messaged Casi Long about our interest, and she enthusiastically returned my message almost immediately. It was a breeze to work with her!The day of the event, our jaws dropped when we drove up and saw the gorgeous fall tables, brunch spread and balloon displays. Casi and Ali far exceeded our expectations. They generously opened up the store for our guests. Thank you for making a first birthday, a BEST birthday.

Upon entering this small town feel farm store, I was greeted with a cheerful "good morning!" I made my way over to the dairy cooler and grabbed a gallon of whole milk a pint of chocolate milk (for the ride home) I didn't need anything else on this stop...but there were TONS of options if I did. The cashier rang up my products, offered a bag if needed and said "have a great day!" When in the area again, I will definitely stop in! The chocolate milk was delicious and I can't wait to get home and have the whole milk.

The good-Local small business.MilkHalf and HalfChicken saladFrozen steakCould be improved-Chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla milk taste like they flavor them with Hershey's supermarket syrup. Worse than the chain store flavored milks.Cashier lady is like a grouchy lifeless zombie.In the end it serves as a good stop for locals to avoid a ride to Giant, but if you are passing through stop at a small store in Lancaster County for your mom-and-pop dairy needs and skip the trip here.

So glad to have this place within a 10 minute drive. Great for local milk and eggs. They're the only place I'll buy flavoured milk from because it actually tastes like it should - not super syrupy or thicker than normal milk. And the cream is actually cream. Not just thick milk, like you get at the grocery store. The new owners and staff are also very nice to deal with.

An awesome local treasure! My 2.5 year old son asks to visit Kolbs multiple times per week to buy milk, watch the tractors, and visit the cows. The tractors keeps his attention and it’s almost a break in my day with our toddler and baby! What a cool place for kids to learn about how we get milk. When he weaned from nursing mom’s milk he learned about “cows mult” as he calls it and he now asks for cows milk when he wants milk. He especially loves the chocolate milk. I can’t drink milk from the grocery store any more! It doesn’t taste as good and I’m now picky with milk because it’s so good. We went today and my toddler drank it and said “mom, milk tastes fresh!” Haha! Very nice people here too.

Love what the new owners are doing. Great place for local items and fresh milk.They have expanded the product lines, so far we like the bbq sauce and the yogurt. I still do 80% of my shopping here

Make sure you carry cash if you are buying less than $5. other than that nice place, great staff and good food. Not a huge store but perfect for things i need regularly and fresh in my kitchen.Their milk is awesome. You must try their whole milk to remember how real milk tastes.Note: Fall/Winter hours during EST are different they close at 7 instead of 8 from Monday to Friday during standard time.
