I drove 50 minutes to this store location just because the johnstown store didn't have what I needed in stock. Somehow the price was 50.00 more for this item just because it was a different store location. The only reason i gave 2 stars is because thr employees were very nice people but they couldmt price match even though its the exact sane thing at the exact same company just a different location. Extremely disappointed. Same barcode/part number as well. I'm really not happy about this It seems like they just make prices at whatever they want.

Im lucky to have this place near my cabin. Ive used them to purchase wood bundles, windows/doors, paint, stains, soffit/facia, tons of hardware, you name it.They've been really helpful for me finding things as well, like hard to find solid core knotty alder doors. I like that I can also have things delivered when I order lumber/cement, for a really reasonable price.I was going to use them for a kitchen but without displays it's hard to buy into something sight unseen otherwise I would have probably gotten a kitchen from them too.

Air compressor died on the job while in summerset this was the only place that had one they were fast and efficient and a great price would recommend the rental of anything to them

Had exactly what I needed to fix my kitchen sink. They also have a ton of larger house hold repair stuff that you can rent instead of buying it. They also have all the normally building, plumbing, and electrical supplies you could need to fix most of your house hold repair needs.

I have been using this store since I moved up here from Md. years ago. I never took the time to write anything about my dealings with the store. Let me say from day one everyone has been so nice and helpful. It was always so much easier than going to Lowes or Walmart ,plus they always have what I need. Customer service is #1 here!

Not sure how many stars to give them. Drove here Saturday morning to get a key cut. I pull up at 7:05 and the gate is closed, store is dark. Website says open 7am to 2pm. Sign on the fence says opens at 8am. Just a bit annoyed. How hard is it to have the correct hours listed on your website!

They carry a hand full of items that Lowes here in Somerset does not . Old style water heater elements that are decently priced. Also got some temp screens for windows that did not have screens in my house. Great place to get some hard to find odds and ends !

The cashier tried over charging me by 60 dollars. When I called her on it, she was obviously irritated. 30 minutes after I got home, the state police showed up at my house because the cashier said I told her I was building a bomb. I bought plastic tubing and fittings. The police even laughed

I really like Somerset Ace Hardware. It seems like they're very quick to see you and offer assistance. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Dont talk to bill unless he has food. The staff here is very knowledgeable and if there not sure they call the supplier to find out. The lumber is better then those fancy box stores because it's not warped and waiting for noah to buy it !!!!

I was referred here one day when I was looking for a unique lightbulb. Of course they had it, along with a million other cool things. The prices are good too.
