Perhaps the nicest dog park I’ve ever been to. Big green space that’s very well maintained. Lots of toys, bags, and other amenities. It also has a spigot and bowl for water too. I would come back often if I lived nearby.

We live local and visit the park regularly. If visiting please read the rules and clean up after your pets so we can all enjoy the park for a long time to come!Be sure to sign the visitor book so they know how many love the park!Restrooms: They have a porta potty.Dog-friendliness: The park has a bigger dog fenced in area, a 10# and under fenced in area, and a walking trail down past the fenced in areas.Picnic area: There are picnic tables, under a shared pavilion out side the fenced area. Benches inside the fenced area and shade in the bigger dog section.

Great park that’s not just a fenced in yard. There are pools and agility equipment, and a smaller area for smaller dogs. There are also picnic tables between the areas to have lunch. I come here with someone else, but it makes me wish I had a dog to take here myself.

So glad I asked for a recommendation at the Wendy's in town for a park with picnic tables. The staff said there was a dog park up the road. Even better! That was over a year ago and now I plan stops in Somerset just to visit the dog park. Amenities: tall chain link fence, separate small dog area (not contiguous with larger area which helps discourage barking), shaded area with benches inside the fenced area, shaded area with picnic tables outside the fenced area, fresh running water (or bottled water when it's out), plenty of parking, the cleanest port-a-potty I've ever used, plastic poop bags on site, daily maintenance, great view. Who could ask for more?!

What a great place to stop and let your dog run and play. A community founded, dog lover led park. A place full of love and open to donations for expanding. Trails nearby in case you also are interested in a hike.Restrooms: Porta potty for dog park guests.

I recently moved here from Seattle, the land of plentiful dog parks and this might just have been the most well-thought-out dog park I've ever been to. There were toys and balls and treats all over the place, agility equipment, a covered seating area, dedicated fountains (although they were frozen) and even a trail to walk around the park. Loved it.

This is one of the nicest dog parks I've ever seen. It was particularly welcome for our two poodles on the longish drive from Columbus to suburban New York. It probably would have been even nicer if we'd been there when other dogs were there. It helps make Somerset a better place to stop for gas and food on such drives. Contribute to support the maintenance of this great traveler's resource.

A simple dog park that’s perfect for a pit stop with your pup! Very convenient from the PA turnpike and gas stations/restaurants for food and restrooms if you’re traveling through. The park was plenty large for my chocolate lab to get quality exercise, there were LOTS of benches as well as a small covered area for shade, fresh water and bowls, and a port-a-potty. My only reason for 4 stars is that the park is tucked back in an overgrown area. But we were grateful to find it and will definitely be back on our return trip!

This is a great park for dogs! The guy that runs it is so nice and considerate of everyone for keeping this place going even when it doesn't make a penny and probably costs him money to keep it open. I personally help out with trying to keep the weeds and grass down and fix the lawn equipment and he could use some more help if anyone has some free time to help clean up the park or even can afford a small donation.

Great dog park in Somerset. Nice grass, tons of benches and balls around, and it is one of the cleanest parks I’ve been to. The local dog owners really seem to care about this park, judging by all the signs on the fence.

Very cool to have this awesome place in my home town. They have done a great job maintaining it with generous donations and I hope it stays for a very long time. They have parts for large and small dogs which is very nice. On site water for your dogs and a nice trail around the outside of the park.

Our 3 shih-tzus loved it. The small dog area is very well maintained and clean. Fresh water, poop bags and disposal containers are readily available.

People visit our park and tell us this is the nicest dog park they have been to. We try very hard to make it beautiful for people and dogs. We have water (in the summer only) and a walking trail around the park which is on leash and take you down through the foods and up to Lake Rd. - total distance is .3 miles and it is easy to walk. There is a small dog area for those little dogs who are afraid of the big or bigger sized dogs. Usually all dogs play in the fenced in area and love to mingle with dogs of all sizes.A shade structure is in place to provide cover from the sun and rains. the park is operated by a small group of volunteers. Volunteers are always welcome to join in and lend a hand.The park is open from dawn to dusk.

When I got Noodles almost two years ago, I immediately started looking for a place to take her and to let her run. Living in town, proved difficult to do this at home. Upon coming here I had the best experience. Everyone is so nice and the park is well taken care of.

Excellent, well maintained park. Despite rain, not muddy on this visit, with nice grass play area. We stop there several times a year when traveling on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

This is a dog park where you may take your pet and allow it to play with other dogs. Your pet must be able to get along with other dogs, no aggressive animals. Not open in in bad weather as it is not under a roof.
