This hardware store has an amazing selection and the prices are not nearly as high as nearby Ace!Love this place. When I couldn't find a part for my lawn tractor, one of the employees spent quite a bit of time helping me find everything I needed and even explained a few things to me I didn't know! Girls at the checkout were nice as can be.

A great little (but packed!) store that is really convenient if you need something quickly and do not want to drive 15 miles to Lowe's in Butler. Plus the store is small, easier to find things, and you're not walking around for an hour to find one small item. If you need help, there are always employees nearby who will drop everything and help you with fast and friendly service. I have been coming here since I was a small child with my parents, and still stop in frequently. We are STILL using the Servi-Star lawn mower my grandmother bought here in the 90's, before it changed to ACE. A nice place to have in SR.

The gift wear here is so over price you can find everything so much cheaper on amazon. Every thing in the store is cluttered and the blonde female manager was extremely disrespectful. Will be driving the extra 10 min to Lowes from now on.

I will NEVER shop at this store again. My husband and I were just there. I walked in after my husband bought concrete...he went to load it in our truck and I wanted to look at fall decorations. The cashiers laughed because apparently they short changed my husband and thought it was hilarious. When my husband returned into the store to find me, I told him and he finally got his CORRECT change. Thanks Slippery Rock Hardware...for nothing.

Everything you'd expect to find in a hardware store and more. Quality and unique gift items for young & old. Nice seasonal selections, lawn ornaments to spruce up the yard, many items like seed and corn for bird lovers & wildlife. Staff is friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. This excellent local business has much to offer all community households and businesses and has been a big supporter of school district events, youth athletics and hometown activities for as long as I can remember. The only negative I have regarding Slippery Rock Hardware is that some items are pricier than those found in larger outlets; however, this is one local store I highly recommend the community patronize before going outside the town's limits.

I am starting a DIY project and Slippery Rock Hardware had everything I needed. Plus the place is always clean and the people are very helpful. Make sure to check out all the stuff in the front of the store. Lots of cute decorative stuff, items for kids and even some unique clothes.

This place is great. If you need any type of hardware or tooling or bird supplies, they have it all. This is one of those places that if they don’t have it you don’t need it. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for anybody. It’s even nice just the walk-through to see what else they have. They have household supplies, camping equipment, automotive supplies, animal supplies, paint and plumbing and a lot more. It’s like an old-time hardware store. Really enjoyable stopping here

I called before driving down to make sure they had what I was looking for. And for some advice on which one to buy. I told them my situation what I needed and they came back with good solid advice that helped me make my decision properly. And I paid a good price for the item I purchased.

They have so much stuff here it's like a trader horn! Prices are a little high but wow the stuff! Staff were very friendly also

Needed some picture hangers for our daughters apartment. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with hellos! Ended up buying way more than picture hangers as they have the cutest gift area and tons of stuff to decorate with!

I went to every hardware in my area for a 10mmx1.00 bolt I stopped by this hardware store and they had them they have more supply than most hardware stores customer friendly 👍

The knowledge that the employees have in this store is amazing, and I would give this store a higher rating, but some of the experiences I have had in this store with the cashiers were awful.They say they have a return policy within so many days, but anytime I have to return something with the original packaging, my receipt and the item within the time period, it is a huge hassle and I have to argue with them about it.
