Stopped here quick for a toiletry. It took my husband and I multiple isles to find what we needed. The store was just generally unorganized. I know Dollar General’s typically keep some stock out in the boxes (I’m sure due to space shortages), but this store had boxes everywhere!

All dollar general stores need to get outside lights turned on it is dangerous with no light in the front of there buildings at night

They have an okay selection of things you might need in a pinch and a lot of other junk that no one needs. Staff is friendly but not doing much of keeping their customers safe from spreading germs. A worker was stocking shelves, no mask and coughing everywhere and not even trying to cover his mouth. I think they should try a little harder being busy in a college town by using common sense. Just the common cold and flu are spread so easily this way. Please pass this basic idea to your staff.

I called this store twice just a few minutes ago; I am not sure who answered the call but it was the same girl twice. First time she answered, the line was silent for a few seconds then she said "Hello." I was in the middle of asking my question and she just hung up. Second time she actually said "Slippery Rock Dollar Store how can I help you" or something like that. I asked my question (which was asking for a specific type of battery) and all she said was "no" and just hung up. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

It's a Dollar General... Decent prices and selection. You can find a good deal on some quality items if you get there at the right time. FedEx drop off point is handy also. Bathrooms are wretched and don't seem to ever be cleaned which is the reason for 3 star and unsanitary to say the least.

Awesome place and this store is the BIGGEST Dollar General that I have ever been in and carry more store and food items then most of your Dollar General stores. The associates were all very helpful and friendly. Very large parking lot. I also loved the fact that they gave me an 11 percent discount because I'm a Veteran. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Giving this 4 stars because I love the staff here. They are super friendly & have helped me carry things to my car. The store is busy, inner aisles are always in flux & it can be a challenge to find things.

Dollar General makes my shopping trips easier, faster, and more affordable; those three factors are very important to college students like myself. Only downside is they don't sell fresh produce but the convenience and affordability make up for that.

Coz everything is a dollar,only a dollar.I was at tj max they had a 14 oz bottle of Himalayan pink salt for 5.95 I bought it.Had to stop at dollar store .I saw the same exact size and brand of himalayan salt for a dollar...so I bought 3 more bottles........I like this store........Plus many other item cheap and brand names too....Good place to get cleaning products soaps, etc,,candies wide variety,school supplies, paper, auto supplies,oil,etc. Just low prices .love it!

The new store that opened not too long ago is absolutely fantastic in comparison to their previous store. There are several registers in the store if needed and a much larger variety of items. Definitely an improvement overall!

I think this one's in Slippery Rock don't ask for cigarettes unless you have ID. I'm over 60 and refused to sell them to me because I forgot my wallet. When wife went to buy refused her because I had asked for them, True Story.

it is a newly remodeled store. I didn't browse much since I knew what I wanted. With dollar General app can link coupons so get cheap stuff cheaper.

New store, same rude employees. Never shop here again. Went to return an item but since it wasn't from this location, would not let me return it and said I had to take it back to the store I got it from. Manager Lance said why should he take the "hit" on a defective item.DON'T EVER SHOP HERE.

Typical dollar general. Always good for last minute needs. IE. Toilet paper, paper towels, sour cream! I love simple shopping.
