Everyone at Highland is absolutely amazing, caring, pleasant, helpful etc. They have gone above and beyond each and every time for our Charlie Waffles and have gotten him through some really tough times. Dr. Mattson is great with my rotweiller! My dog is about 128 lbs after losing some weight. He has white coat syndrome and gets aggressive. Dr. Mattson handles him with care and will not due unnecessary tests and charge you millions of dollars. He really cares about your pet and you and takes the time to listen and give his best advice. I've been to many vets in the area and I will never go anywhere else again! You can count on the staff to be genuine and understanding during the stress of having to take your pet to the vet. I 100% recommend using Highland. You won't get better care anywhere else!

Nicky had a technician appointment for an allergy shot. The process was quick and easy and the technician and front desk staff were all friendly and professional. Great experience! April 2024.Our dog, Nicky, received his annual exam at Highland from Dr Merkel. She is an amazing veterinarian and gave Nicky the most thorough examination, answered all of our questions, recommended some testing, and offered advice on a supplement for joint health. It was a great experience for Nicky and for us as his dog parents. The support staff at Highland are great, too. They are always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. All in all Highland is an exceptional practice and we recommend to everyone we know.

Highland Animal Hospital is an excellent veterinary center. We have been taking our pets there for over 20 years. Care is thorough, kind and doctors are up to date on the latest treatments. Dr. Matson treats my pets exclusively because he learns to know them well . He is knowledgeable and has our pets best interests at heart. All the doctors are excellent.

First time using this Vet.Took our new kitten in for first checkup and Rabies shot. All Good.The Doctor did a complete examination.Also got the Rabies Shot.The Facility is very nice and well maintained.Staff members and Dr. are Friendly and Professional.Large and comfortable waiting area.Did not wait long to be seen with a appointment.Free Off street Parking.Handicap Parking and easy wheelchair access.Prices were fair.Will Bring our other pets here as well.

Every time I go in to see the vet (Dr. Weber) she and her staff are polite, respectful, and professional. They answer any questions or concerns I have. The other day I took my puppy in to have her ears checked and Dr. Mattson was great. He was very kind and addressed my concerns. I highly recommend taking your furry family members here!

Prices are outrageous. We brought our two French bulldogs in for an annual exam and year shots. It was almost $400. I could get the shots from tractor supply for $15 each. They cancelled our appointment that we scheduled a week out. They make you wait in their waiting room for a long time before seeing you. We are not happy with their service. I rather drive 30 minutes to better vet than go here.

The absolute best vet anywhere in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas! I was with them for years and am moving down south. I will miss them dearly as will my babies. Dr. Merkel was especially wonderful. I moved to New Jersey and for two years continued to use them as a vet even though they were an hour and 40 minutes away, that’s how much I loved them!

They are very competent and professional. I have to put 2 cats to sleep in the past 2 years, and they were very compassionate, and allowed me all the time I needed to say good bye. Paying for the procedure beforehand made it easier to deal with too. I have only compliments.

My first visit here since I moved into area. Check-in was efficientsnd appointment on time. Waiting area is clean and spacious so no pet interaction unless owners want their pets to engage. Vet and vet tech were polite, professional and friendly. Exam and review of past records was thorough. Check/out was efficient plus they asked if I had any problems signing up for Pet-Desk. Received a call from vet later about a question raised by staff when my dog’s visit was being put into their system.

Amazing staff!!!! Our dog got very sick and we had to send her over the rainbow Bridge. They were so understanding, comforting and they took the best care of our girl. It was very hard losing her but they helped immensely.

I moved to Highland when my previous vet missed a cancer diagnosis in my little girl. Drs. Mattson and Merkel were so phenomenal with my girl and me. Sadly, there was no saving our girl but these people were so amazing during this sad time for us. They continue to care for my 2 boys now and even though my boys are chubby, Dr. Mattson never makes me feel bad about it. He is caring and compassionate!The girls at the front desk are always so sweet and there is never a long wait. I am in and out. Also, my beagle boys are barkers, at my previous vet they always made me feel bad about it, but here they are so kind about it. They don't banish me to a back room to wait.I really love it here and highly recommend if you are looking for a vet, to come to Highland!!

Savannah was our doctor for our first check up for my 3 month old corgi. She was super knowledgeable and even followed up with me a few days after to let me know all was well with him. I cant say enough about the care My sisters dog got - top notch care. Everyone at this office is professional caring individuals. It's nice when your vet understands about financial resources and gives you options. Unfortunately my sisters beloved Cerebus did not come home. He passed away right before we where getting ready to leave armed with medication and course of action for him. Cerebus however had other plans and decided that mom would do better if he stayed there rather than passing away at home.I think Cerebus wanted to save mom that awful feeling of finding him.He was such a good boy and we still wonder who rescued who.R.I.P. DEAR CEREBUS. You are overwhelmingly missed.
