Food was great. Stopped for breakfast and dinner. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Gift store is a fun little place to browse. The animal area is fun for the kids to see many different kinds of critters. Parking was easy to find. Meal prices were a bit high but that’s to be expected in a rural area. Will definitely come back each year I come back camping.

This was our first visit. We weren't disappointed. The decor is a great nod to the region.We both had the fish and it was very good. Loved having a small salad bar to go with the meal. The baked potato was perfect. It was cooked so well that I could scoop all the insides out of the skin!Staff was very friendly. The also have a bakery in the restaurant.

We were there yesterday for the first time. We arrived for dinner, Madison was a great waitress she checked on us brought us everything we needed. I asked her what dessert was her favorite, and I'm so glad I took her word on the strawberry shortcake. It had so many strawberries my absolute favorite. We both had the weekend buffet my only suggestion would be to have extra chocolate chip cookies they were out before 7pm. It was Father's Day weekend, and I'm sure they are everyone's favorite.

This is a must stop if you're traveling in or through the area! The zoo is awesome, with tons of different animals like a zebra, leopard, bears, anteaters and so much more! The gift shop has tons of cool items to purchase. A great place to take the kids, there's also ice cream and food! I'm so glad we stopped here while traveling through the state!

Went with family to this beautiful place to eat. Was not disappointed one bit! I ordered the fish and chips, relatives ordered the round shrimp platter and the ham steak with mashed taters and gravy My gf ordered the Philly chipped beef sandwich!My fish was piping hot and crispy on the outside without being tough or too hard of a crunch.. just perfect. And the fish itself tasted clean and fresh. Fish was cooked perfectly and flaked off easily with little effort. Not greasy either! Absolutely perfect ..I was never a fan of tarter sauce and I always eat fish n chips with malted vinegar- asked for malt vinegar and was just in heaven!:) tbh the fish was soo good by itself it really didn't need any sauce or vinegar. I just am a malt vinegar fiend soooooo... lolI got a side of Coleslaw and I never get excited over coleslaw, but this coleslaw was just amazing. Very fresh and was definitely made with love! My entire dinner was just soo outstanding!!Tried a small bite of the hamsteak. Just soo tasty.The waitress and host were sweet and friendly and very helpful and paid attention us! Very professional also!I will be eating here again! I give it a 10/10 on every thing, from food to cleanliness and fast courteous service!! Just a great place to eat. Also they have some extremely cute goats outside that you can feed and pet! Please visit Farmers Inn!! You won't regret it!

This is way more than just a restaurant! They have a driving range, 2 mini golf courses and many stores!! Beautiful murals everywhere! :)They also have a petting zoo with lots of friendly animals. We loved it!!

Very nice place , the food was ok. The staff weren’t very friendly they didn’t match the personality of this facility. The zoo was awesome my grandkids loved it! They have very nice shops to visit. The restroom was very clean with a changing table.

We had a great dinner there with nice sized portions and decent prices. Also visited the goats, bulk foods store, and gift shop. The kids all loved picking out candy in the bulk foods store.

We love stopping for a meal after camping at nearby Cook's Forest. Food is reliable and generous. Our table got some cheeseburgers, fried fish (really outstanding), and hot buffet. Neat atmosphere - large dining hall or barn even and country decorations (quilts, wagon wheels). There are some baked items for sale by the cash register. Putt-Putt golf and a woodland zoo is nearby. Kids can feed some goats for a quarter. Looks like there is a driving range next door. Ice cream and milkshakes for sale around the corner of the restaurant. Wow! Great place to stop and get refreshed after cooking in the mud over the weekend. Sundays does bring the church lunch crowd so mind your manners!

This place has a bit of everything. There is a petting zoo, bulk food store, driving range and a mini golf course in addition to a recently rebuilt restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. The dinning room was large and kept fairly clean. It was decorated to look like the inside of a barn. Our food came out fairly quick and was well portioned. I've had tastier food, but over all it wasnt bad. Definitely worth checking out at least once.

Farmers inn restaurant is a staple for us when we go to Cooks Forest for camping or just to visit for the day to go kayaking on the river. Their buffet is amazing the food is topped off in fresh almost every 10 minutes it seems everything is high quality. Prices are great services great and it is a great place for family for dates and just for friends

Great food and atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly. The updated petting zoo is large, many animals! Mini-golf and so much more. Spend a day there easily.

My wife and I stopped by the Farmer’s Inn Restaurant today for the very first time. We were really impressed by the entire property. We didn’t eat lunch, but definitely will next time we come back. The store was filled with nice holiday items. We purchased several things from the bulk store. We really look forward to bring our girls in the spring when the weather warms up. I highly recommend the Farmer’s Inn and we will definitely come back many more times.

Almost every single enclosure has a sign saying this animal is not sick, it is natural for it to look like it's dying. Kind of makes you wonder........

Great atmosphere with large portions. The country fried steak and mashed potatoes were reminiscent of my grandmother's. The oatmeal raisin cookies were also amazing. Great selection on the salad bar with fast and friendly service. We were there on a Sunday evening and had our meals within 15 minutes or so. Loved seeing the goats on the way in. We will definitely be back!

I had the BLT salad and it was great! So much bigger than I thought it would be and it had waffle fries on top. Really enjoyed the little goats at the petting zoo.

Food was good. Two chicken breasts and steak entrees a little pricey. Cold buffet bar very good. Loved macaroni salad. Friends had hot bar and said ribs were good. Server was efficient. Drove 2 hours to meet 6 friends. Wouldn't be on a regular visit list. Bulk foods and candy store nothing special. Gift shop was disappointing. Didn't do golf or petting zoo.

The food is great and the service is way better than anywhere in the area. We have eaten there a couple times and it is so nice inside and very nice waitresses and love the activities for the kids.

Things have changed over the years. You have to pay to go in. You enter/exit through a gift shop. Some of the animals don't have hardly any shade. The new buildings are nice. The employees are friendly. The ice cream is still very tasty. Needs to improve on some of the animal areas.
