They're the only vet I could find for my ferret and Dr. Gramazio is the best with him. Prices are fair even for emergency show ups. Hiccup is doing much better with the love and care he's received from the doctor and staff there. The middle picture is how he was when they seen him and the other two is how he's doing after care. We LOVE everyone at this Vet. Big bonus that they see Rabbits. Dr Gramazio is just incredible. Vet tech Allison-also incredible-the whole staff is great with communication and so good at their jobs. They went (and always go) above and beyond for their clients. I would recommend the vet services here to ANYONE. Thank you for saving my Rabbits life!!!

Doctor livia DeMeo is the best veterinarian I have ever met. The staff is amazing after I reviewed my credit card statement realized I paid a thousand dollars over my estimate because of additional blood work I have decided to take my pets else where never deny my animals anything but I feel this is over the top years of being a client 😥 departing ways new york prices. Or maybe paying for the new renovations but not at my expense.

Shohola vet has taken care of my dogs and prior to that my cats for years and years, always with care and a wonderful bedside manner. And I never feel like I’m being ripped off, pricewise. They are certainly much cheaper than big city vets.

As far as the veterinary staff, they show they really care about their patients. You wait sometimes 30 mins in a room to see the Dr for 5mins. Everything is extra, all the clerical staff including the office manager are more focused on billing than patient care. After being denied an emergency appointment for my elderly dog in distress I decided to end my relationship with Shohola Veterinary Hospital

Our pups are our babies and this place treats them as their own. We very much appreciate the efficient yet compassionate treatment of our furry family members by the very professional and competent doc and her staff. Price ? What is your most loyal companion worth ? The fees are the price you pay for the care and services provided. Given the fact this facility and staff provide top quality care, the pricing of that service is reasonable and a nonissue for me personally.

Everyone here from the front desk to the doctors are as kind as can be. I recently brought my cat in for treatment and un fortunately he had to be euthanized. Everyone here was compassionate and helpful. They helped me get through a most difficult day. Highest recommendation for them all.

I've been going to this vet for four years and I'll never go anywhere again. They are trust worthy and truly care about my pets. My dog is also aggressive we have to give him a sedative before we go but he fights the sedative, they handle him better than I could ever ask for, I am so grateful to the staff and the work they do for my furry babies.

No way. They used to be amazing. Now it's a money pit. They are good to the animals don't get me wrong but when they first opened they were affordable reasonable. The doctor that replaced Olivia was awful. Took my dog somewhere else and they have me a different diagnosis and the dog was better 2 weeks later. When I questioned her I got the I told you that. Yeah I told her that never happened. Never returned any calls just ignored me. So for the money you charge I expect a return call.

Brought my cat Jasper in for a problem with limping. Paw was in a splint so it would “heal.” When the splint was removed It was discovered the paw had deteriorated and looked necrotic. I was told it was because the splint was too tight and cutting off circulation to his paw. They immediately wanted to remove his leg, which did not need to be done and was not done. Unfortunately, the same thing happened a couple weeks later to his other leg, and he was limping again on the other paw. Once again, they told me there was nothing wrong with it, and it was probably due to some sort of neurological issue. A week later the same thing happened to this paw. It shriveled up and became necrotic, and he was no longer able to walk on it. I left a message with the receptionist, trying to speak to the veterinarian, but to no avail, because no one bothered to call me back. Inevitably, what I had found out from another veterinarian, who obviously has more experience, was the cat had lung cancer, and the tumors had spread to his extremities, and that was what was cutting off the circulation to his paws. Inevitably the cat had to be put down, but it would be nice to have known from a professional perspective that this was actually what was wrong. Staff was very nice, I can’t say the same for the veterinarians, maybe they feel they’re too important to call you back, I’m not sure what it is, but obviously they don’t have the experience to diagnose certain issues. I highly recommend Roeder's Ark Veterinary Hospital in Otisville NY if you have a complex medical issue with your pet, Shohola’s Vets are apparently not qualified.

My dog is very shy and nervous around new people, but these folks here took the time to gain his trust before checking him out. They are very friendly and knowledgeable, and my dog was given the proper care and lots of head scratches. By the end of the appointment my dog was wagging his tail when the vet and the vet techs came around. Best vet we've ever taken him to!

Brought in a stray who was hanging around my house. He was so beat up, my ❤️ broke for him. Dr. DiMeo was going to neuter him and I would just release him. But upon further examination, she found him so sick, she asked if she could keep him, that he was young and sweet. Did you know she loves cats? They reported he was responding well, becoming vocal and showing his personality..hopefully it was good. Wonderful animal hospital, great staff.

I have never been to this vet before, and I had 2 ailing dogs that needed help crossing the rainbow Bridge. They got me in the same day, let my husband, my son and me go in together to be with our fur babies at the end, and even helped me get wifi for billing purposes. The staff is amazing and caring, the Dr was thorough, and the experience, tho so painful, was so peaceful. I cannot say enough about this Vet Hospital..top notch and so so caring

Overpriced, unprofessional, and rude. After spending over $700 on tests they have refused to give me the results. They even went as far as to lie about it and claim they spoke with me when the co owner contacted them. If you want to get what you pay for, don’t go here!!

Outstanding treatment and care of our cat, who’s had extensive dental surgery done. Dr. And technicians were very careful not to be intrusive. SHOHOLA VETERINARY & ITS STAFF are THE BEST OF THE BEST! Caring, polite, professional are just a few words to describe them. Their office & exams rooms are sparkling clean! We are so grateful to them and all they do for our 2 Siberian Huskies & our Great Dane! Even our dogs love coming here. One of our boys, Mischa had an ear infection over the weekend & we went to Newton Animal Hospital since Shohola was closed & they treated our dog like he didnt matter & AFTER keeping him in an exam room for OVER AN HOUR & NOT EVEN EXAMIMG HIM, they decided he was NOT a priority & literally told us we could wait in the car with him for about 5 hours to MAYBE be seen OR make an appointment for another day! We brought him home, did what we could until this morning (Monday) & were at Shohola the second they opened. Turned out Mischa had a VERY PAINFUL absess & needed to be sedated to have it fixed! It took the doctor at Shohola all of TEN MINUTES to figure that out AND correct the issue! We will never go anyplace else with our pets!

The recent renovation is amazing - I like that dogs and cats have a separate waiting area. The exam rooms are clean and the vets and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful.

The Doctors and staff are extremely considerate and they take great care of your animals.One other very important mention they are extremely honest. My cash fell out of my wallet and I didn't even know it. She caught me before I left the parking lot and brought it out to me. It was over a $100. I can't thank you enough

I called out of the blue because my dog had taken a sudden turn for the worst. We had never been to them before yet I was given an appointment for that day and we were treated with all of the respect in the world. We were able to take our time with our beloved dog both before and after she was euthanized. I can’t thank them enough for the compassion that was shown to us on the worst day of our lives. I wish that I could name people in this review but understandably I was thinking about my precious girl and nothing else, So I will take the time to say thank you now, albeit late but certainly heartfelt.I cannot recommend this practice enough.

I can't speak highly enough of this facility... they did a great job. I had been turned away from another vet because of lack of available appointments. My 11 year old pup had a bad uti. They not only gave me a same day appointment but were kind enough to get her from the car curbside as its covid season and I had my two children with me.My pup is on the mend and it's all thanks to the entire crew at SVH!!!Thank you for actually caring about my animal and not making her suffer.
