Everything was incredible here from the owner to the staff, food, decor and ambiance. I would recommend this eatery from the casual to the gourmand. The menu is more than ample and the staff was happy to accommodate any requests and had a full working knowledge of both the menu and ingredients used. They were amicable yet professional and efficient, our table was never left wanting or waiting.Our server Mark in particular made the evening smooth and fun. I also had the pleasure of the owner stopping by just to check in on our table and it was clear that this entire team from every angle is focused and impassioned to deliver the best experience possible for their patrons.I look forward to spending many evenings here leaving with a full and happy stomach. A must try.P.S. It’s true, Peters’s garlic mushroom soup truly is famous and should not be missed! The change in ownership has kept the spirit intact and I’m excited to see what other special’s Faro creates for us to enjoy.

Where do I start? Fortuitously stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant and got a reservation at the last minute. Very humble exterior, but absolutely lovely decor inside, with a very well stocked hip bar and several rooms to be seated in. We chose to sit in their newly built outside kiosks. Past the waterfalls to their outside gardens.Cocktails were insanely delicious as was the wine (very special cabernet).Appetizers to die for... The best pei mussels I have ever eaten... Plump, succulent and sauce that needed another order of bread served hot to sop up the sauce... A helping of pasta would have been even more tasty.The Mahi Mahi special with pistachios crust was superb, stuffed chicken... So good, and a summer salad topped with wild salmon cooked to perfection was great on a warm August evening.We ended with chocolate cake and a sidecar of vanilla ice cream... Expresso martini, and Peter's coffee, not to be missed. BTW... Service was extraordinary... Our server could not do enough for us, and Peter came out to our table himself to make sure that we were all pleased with our dinners and enjoyed our experience at Europa House. What a gem... Great find

My hubby and I absolutely love this restaurant. He had the filet mignon which he said was one of the best he’s had. I had a vegetarian pasta dish that was amazing! Also if you like creamy soup they have the best mushroom and garlic soup. Our waitress Rebecca was super nice and attentive. We will definitely be coming back here.

Stopped in on our way from Milford to Hawley after visiting Raymondskill’s Falls for an espresso martini. What a way to wrap up the afternoon. Not what you would expect from a bar on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. But, exceptional service and great atmosphere. The espresso martinis were delicious, made with real espresso. Thank you, Megan!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I am glad that they offered indoor and outdoor dining, even though covid regulations required having shields between tables. They were tastefully done. Don't expect bargain basement prices, but we are talking about gourmet foods. The outside makes one think of a roadside restaurant, not gourmet. The interior otherwise has very nice decor and tablecloths, which are a very welcome change from sticky bare tables. I would definitely recommend! Bravo.

Excellent food and excellent service. Absolutely a 5 Star dining experience. We have been staying at the Settlers Inn in Hawley and were told about Peter’s by some friends who own a home near by. We have been coming to the Poconos and the Lake Wallenpaupack region for about 35 years and never knew about this outstanding restaurant. We will certainly be returning, the next time we are in the area.

I got the ceasar salad for an app. It looked really cool, as you can see. Although I should have read the description. I think there was goat cheese or some other cheese i wasn't expecting. The Mac and cheese was delicious! The hint of basil was a nice touch. My stuffed chicken was cooked perfectly. My friend said her skirt steak was a little salty. My favorite part was dessert though 🐷😋 Peter's had the biggest dessert menu I have ever seen lol You name it, they had it! The cheese cake was so creamy 😍 we were worried about the weather and decided to eat indoors but, the outside was so beautifully decorated and they had a band.

Love this restaurant now, especially now. Change of ownership has definitely enhanced the atmosphere to a more friendly and welcoming environment. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The Chief/owner came out introduced himself asked about our dining experience. I was thoroughly impressed 👏 👌 😂. The main entree and sauces were unbelievably delicious, the soup was so so good and the drinks are pretty good too. ALL IN ALL, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Such a special spot. The staff, the food, and the drinks are all 10/10, and what makes it even better is the very comfortable and clean environment to enjoy it all in. Everything is great.The best, and most fascinating part, is the customer service. It's exactly the opposite of what you experience lately or expect from a business. Everyone is welcoming, kind, thoughtful, attentive... the list goes on. Meghan at the bar genuinely and naturally exhibits customer service traits that I haven't seen in another human in years (and I work in customer service). She is incredible and the reason that we will visit the restaurant over and over and over.

I was totally ready to purchase a $150 gift certificate for my brother, but when they were ready to process my purchase, they arbitrarily added a $30 tip to my purchase!! Needless to say, I CANCELLED my purchase. They should reconsider such a practice! It is PRESUMPTIVE and UNACCEPTABLE! ...I can only imagine how many sales they have lost!

Very disappointing experience. Customer service was good and staff was pleasant, however, food was mostly disappointing, fish tasted like rubber, salad lettuce was old , sweet potatoes were undercooked, but the biggest issues was how many flies they had at the dining room (indoor dining room). We had flies flying all around us and our food, people next to us had the same thing and we all had to ask staff to bring out fly traps. It was very unpleasant and unacceptable for any dining establishment especially one that charges $60-$80 per person.

We were a large group of 10. Entrees were very good. I had the stuffed chicken, and it was excellent. Server was very assertive and accommodating. We have eaten there several times, while traveling in that area. I would highly recommend Peter's.

Celebrated my 19th Anniversary by having dinner at Peter's. One of the best experiences we had. The mushroom garlic soup is delicious and addictive. Peter's Beef Tournado is the best I have ever had. The service was top shelf, our server Alex was excellent. I travel extensively for business and have had the privilege of eating at some really great places. But Peter's was definitely one of the top five meals I have ever had.
