Very cute and the staff were helpful and pleasant! It's hidden away on a side street next to the post office lol absolutely adorable plus there's a little old guy who cuts hair in the next room in the attached barbershop. Everything was clean and organized and they had great inventory, and plenty of minnows.

My husband went here recently, grabbed some bait and hit the lake! Needless to say the bait were well alive and did the job! They had everything we needed! The owners were super friendly and professional.

I went to this store on 1-29-22 and they were open on a seriously snowy day. I went in to buy minnows. I started asking for ice fishing advice since I taught myself (hot mess). Billy, his wife and his friend taught me things about lake Devenoge that I had no idea about. He put my fishing line on my new ice fishing rod and a hook. It took him 5 min and probably would have taken me like 20. 😂 but still it was really kind and appreciated! it’s fun to learn a new hobby from someone who knows what they’re doing. But the best part of their store is it feels like you’re walking into your childhood and you have a bunch of friendly people who are willing to chat and give you some tips. It would be an understatement to say that their customer service is excellent. Thank you guys for helping me out and making me feel welcome! So glad you bought this store! I will spread the word to everyone I come across!

A must go! Have been visiting it for 40 years! Lots of expertise on fishing equipment and tackle. But also has toys. Sells a few “easy”fireworks like sparklers, Fire crackers, etc. plus you can get a haircut! It’s a slice of down home tradition. Straight out of Mayberry. Stores like this aren’t around much anymore… it’s a must see. And buy a few things to keep this iconic shop going!

Bought some fathead the bait lasted for days of fishing. Met the new owners they were very friendly like they knew me forever. Will definitely be going back. Good luck with the new adventure guys hope you stay around as long as Kurt Hagemann did.

Truly an old style barber shop that is located in a bait and tackle store. Bill, the barber who gave me a great trim, is friendly and actually asks how you want your hair cut, not done as a numbered template by the corporately owned "hair salons". Highly recommended.

This is the best tackle shop ever! Some of the freindliest people that I know. The owner has a great knowledge of fishing in the area and is eager to help you out. Also, they are are 24 bait shop outside of the shop for you convenience. Lastly, they have all you could possibly need to fish in the area (rods, reels, bait, etc)

This place is a hidden gem. It is an old school barbershop and tackle store. I started going there when I was a kid around 25 years ago. It hasn't changed much since then which isn't a bad thing. I live far away now but like to travel down there every so often because I enjoy the nostalgia.

The Best! I have been coming here for almost 15 years. The bait is always fresh and high quality, but what really makes this place special is the Hagemanns, they are the friendliest folk around! You wont find anyone with better knowledge of the local waters. If you are in the area, this is your only place to go...
