We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this RV dealership. Our sales consultant Jason was friendly, honest and knowledgeable. He was and is very responsive as well. Bob, a tech in their shop, spent 1.5 hours with us giving us a thorough orientation of our new RV. Tyler, another tech, was extremely helpful setting up and explaining our new hitch system. And Kathy is probably the most “no pressure” F&I person we’ve ever dealt with. We are also most pleased with our Grand Design Reflection TT. We plan on coming back next spring to buy travel trailers for our property in upstate NY.

Our buying experience at Tom Schaeffers was excellent. Before arriving, we told our salesperson Sean what floor plan we were looking for. He had a few options on the lot, and after listening to the differences between them, decided on the travel trailer that fit our needs. We arrived at a price that was reasonable without hours of negotiation. We had a 4 hour “seminar” with different people talking about the options, connections, etc.

What a great buying experience! Our salesman Jim was fantastic. He was very friendly and knowledgeable plus he gave us a really fair price. Gordon gave us the best Demo ever. He was very thorough and made sure we were comfortable with every aspect of the camper. Rachel in finance made the financial parts quick and easy. She was great with helping us get the best coverage for our new camper. I’ve been camping for over 30 plus years and I can honestly say Tom Schaeffer’s camping and travel center is the best.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this was the right place to purchase a camper. The staff is warm, friendly and welcoming as soon as you come through the door. I was in the area when I found a camper on the website that I wanted to see. Jason was available and said he'd be happy to show it to me. He was not your typical salesman. Not pushy at all but very much wanted to make sure this was the right choice for me and suitable for towing with my vehicle. Jason was knowledgeable and willing answer all my questions and track down the answer if he didn't know. I also met with Rachel that day to sign some paperwork. She was very personable and professional. She walked me through the purchase process and gave me all the information I needed to complete the steps on my end. That week ended up being a little hectic with figuring a few things since I lived in Delaware but the camper was going to be in PA at a seasonal site. Both Jason and Rachel far exceeded my expectations during this process and truly worked to get everything we needed to complete this purchase. They were both so helpful and willing to go above and beyond for the customer. Everything worked out beautifully and my experience was definitely 5 stars! I walked away that day not feeling like just a customer but part of a family. Thank you Jason and Rachel!!!

Great experience all around with everyone involved with the trading in our travel trailer at Tom Schaeffer’s. Jim was a knowledgeable (no pressure!!) salesman. Lee, Bob, Kevin and Gordon were all super helpful with my never ending stream of questions on pickup day. Finance team was great to work with as well. Look forward to lots of camping next year, and maybe dealing with Tom Schaeffer’s team again sometime down the line.

We had an awesome experience buying our first travel trailer! From the time we arrived to the time we picked up our new trailer, everyone was awesome! Sean our salesman was great at explaining all the features of the trailer we were interested in! Never felt pressured in any way. Rachael in finance made purchasing a breeze! Tom (we think that was his name) who gave us our first time trailer orientation was very through and took his time getting us familiar with everything we needed to know to be successful travel trailer owners. One of the biggest perks is they a pet friendly and treated our dog Nitro like family and he even got his first ride in a golf cart! We highly recommend Tom Schaffer's if you are looking for a pressure free and relaxed shopping and purchasing experience.

We had the best experience purchasing a Winnebago Travato from Tom Shaeffer’s RV. Barbara was very kind and not pushy. Gave us plenty of time to try everything out in the Van. Told us to write down anything we saw that we wanted changed or fixed since it was a used RV. When we went back to pick it up everything was perfect. They had even changed the oil for us since we were leaving out the same day for a 1,000 mile trip. Bob who did our walk through was very thorough. After he would explain things he always made sure we understood how everything worked. He even let me take videos of the things I was afraid we would not remember. When there was one thing he was not sure on, he got his technician Craig to come answer the question. Then Craig was so kind to teach how to winterize and dewinterize the van. A+ service!! The next week they invited us for a new owners clinic that was even more informative. Would highly recommend Tom Schaeffer’s if you are looking for a friendly family owned business that will take care of you.

We recently visited Tom Schaeffer’s during their anniversary sale to look at several campers before making a decision. My husband spoke with Barb for several days prior to our appointment to figure out which ones would be the best fit for us to take a look at before visiting. From the moment we made initial contact, Barb was helpful, informative and patient with our many questions as first time buyers. On the day of our appointment we were able to take our time and make our final decision without pressure or feeling like we were “just another sale” to the entire team. Anyone who enters the RV experience and expects a “use it and forget it” product is in for a rude awakening. These things are high maintenance. That’s why the dealer makes all the difference. Sure, you might find a cheaper deal at a big-box shop, but good luck with the service. These guys at Tom Schaefer’s know how to fix them and treat you right. I’m currently in the market for a toy hauler. Go shop around, but before you get excited about a unit, visit the dealer’s service area. If you see low activity, run away. Tom Schaefer’s is always buzzing with activity. Their service is real.

This is my second camping trailer , both from Schaeffer's. The two salesmen, Jim and Ron, could not have done a better job explaining, everything about the trailer, pricing, trade in and all. They made the whole process simple. Kerry, than took us out ,explained ALL the items inside and out. Answered all of our questions about the unit. Also, Rachel made all the paper work quick, easy, and had a great smile.If you are looking for a camper trailer, this is the place you want to deal with.

Purchased on the Internet, sight unseen. Unit was used and "as is". When I got to the dealership it had been pulled out and was ready to go. I am sooo happy with my Travel Trailer from Tom Schaeffer's and the way it was handled by Kent. Additionally, I received two-hour training going over my purchase from head to toe by "Bob". After my husband did research and we went to different RV places to find what would work for us we ended up here. Some of the places that we went to were rude and the quality in the campers wasn’t the greatest for the price. We ended up at Tom Schaeffer’s and started working with Jason Himmelreich. Great guy, very professional, knowledgeable and patient. He showed us the one we went purposely to look at. As my husband and him talked I kept walking around, ya know, being nosey. Then I found THE ONE!! Imagine by Grand Design! She was what we were looking for. We talked with Jason about everything and then it was time to talk the dreaded numbers. It was an offer we couldn’t refuse. So we ordered it. We knew with the way things are these days it could take a while but my husband was too anxious and made me text Jason to get updates periodically. This is we’re Jason’s patience was tested. He passed with flying colors. After about 4 months we got the call she was ready for pick up. We went back to get her and the staff again was exceptional. Tom walked us thru and told us about every little button, knob, switch, etc. It was then time to hook her up to the truck. That was done with ease as well. After finalizing the paperwork with Kathy we were off. All we keep saying is “Is it spring yet?” We can’t wait to use it. A huge THANK YOU to all the staff at Tom Schaefer’s. We highly recommend them!!

We completed a full walk through on our day of purchase to go through all of the bells and whistles.
