Doc and Pam, and the staff, are amazing!!! We take our 3 dogs and 2 cats there. They are always there when we need them, and have made time for us when it was time to say goodbye to our beloved fur babies in the past. Don't know what we'd do without them.

Very kind and friendly service! I took my 17-year-old baby angel Kitty for his first visit we were treated very well and it went much better than I thought it would they are very capable of handling any situation. We have a follow-up visit in a few weeks and I hope my little boy behaves a little better than last time LOL.

Dr. Tishman is a very caring, compassionate vet. He is very patient and understanding. He treats my animals as I do! I am always able to get my babies seen on a very timely manner when an emergency happens. I highly recommend this practice.

I was able to get an appointment the next day. Dr. Tishman was very thorough and gave me a few options as to what I can do for my dog who has a laceration on his hind knee. He spent time with me, answered all my questions, and didn't rush me out the door.

These people do not understand customer service. I was given a quote for getting my dog fixed. When I called after the surgery, they claimed my bill was almost $200 more than what they originally quoted, with the only excuse being price increases. None of this was disclosed to me as the customer at any point between the quote or arriving to the office.When I went to pick up my dog, the vet had the nerve to tell me he had to stop his office manager from kicking us out of the practice because I called their operation a scam (like we would ever go back to them). Some words of advice for the business; If you are transparent with pricing, people won't think it's a scam. Transparency in pricing is critical for any business. This business simply blames the customer. In the end, they adjusted the price back to the originally quoted amount, but I left that office feeling like they really thought we were the problem. Take your pet elsewhere and receive the respect you deserve as customer.

The Dr neutered my Charlie and Pumpkin yesterday . They did a great job. Both were recovered from the anesthesia in about an hour after we got home and are behaving like nothing happened. Happy kitties !

This is the place I trust to take my furry friends for their medical needs. The staff are wonderful people. There are not many people who I would trust to keep them safe, but Dr. Tishman, Pam, and all of the rest of the staff there have my vote of confidence!

I called to make an appointment for my cat I just bought from the SPCA. The lady that I talked to said she was the manager , would not give me her name she was very rude and hung up on me when I did not understand why I had to put down a $60 deposit to make an appointment. She kept saying..Are you done? Are you done? I was simply trying to get information if I had to reschedule with the deposit . Unbelievably Awful way to treat someone!

I called and made an appointment for my dads dog on thursday. They stated unless they needed my credit information just in case i didn’t show up on monday for my appointment, completely understandable. I’m 21, broke and panicking because it was a bad situation for the dog. I called around and made an appointment elsewhere for friday morning as the dog was not doing good! I called this hospital ASAP after i made the appointment. ( thursday night. ) They charged that $60 within seconds. I had the notification as soon as i got off the phone. I’m disgusted. It’s said a lot they’ve lost a lot of business so they’re feigning for money but this is disgusting.

Dr Tishmam and staff are fantastic. He's not a Dr that is quick to get you out the door. He discusses the situation in full detail and, he makes the information easy to understand. He ensures all your questions are answered and he remain with you until he knows you're understanding your situation. A++++++

Dr. Tishman Is so knowledgeable, treats my fiesta chihuahua like it was his baby, too, and never rushes exams, questions or answers. I moved closer to a different vet, but will take the drive to his office to get the loving care he and staff provide to my pet.

Curbside service is efficient and easy. Due to pandemic, you call when you get there and a nurse comes out to pick up your animal and ask some questions. Then the doctor calls on your mobile phone and talks to you in detail. When doc is finished with animal, it is brought out to you, along with paper work, medicines . You pay and go. Very easy and quick. Appointments usually available same day.

Yesterday 4/15/2021, our family dog began choking violently and had difficulty breathing. Our house is 3 minutes away from Berks Animal Hospital North. My wife put the dog in the car, and while driving she called Berks North for help. The assistant who answered told my wife that Berks North is "appointment only", and that my wife should drive to the emergency hospital in Shillington, which is 35 minutes away. My wife reiterated that the dog was actively choking in the car, and Berks North said that they couldn't help. My wife ended up taking the dog to the animal hospital in Leesport.I called the next day to voice my concern and the doctor wouldn't speak with me because I'm not a client.All of this doesn't seem like an appropriate response from a vet. We're not a client of Berks North, but I'd expect them to at least give some level of support in an emergency situation.
