Last week when I was there the older short lady with short gray hair that works selfscans/front end was very rude. I went through self checkout as its easier for me esp when i have multiple orders. She kept pushing me to get into another line with a cashier because she was afraid i was gonna keep messing up and shed have to keep helping. Which 1. Thats her job regardless. I refused, she got annoyed, and i checked out with no issues. I went in later I was waiting for her at the self scan to come cancel my order because of a payment issue but she was talking with another customer for minutes. I do grocery orders for people, so I need to be out of the store in a timely manner so i walked to A cashier to check out and had all intention as to stopping her on my way out to say that was me cancel it. Instead, she chases me over to the line and basically accuses me of stealing And scolded me like a child in front of everyone. She was not professional at all and that is no way to treat a customer. I called to speak to a manager, but of course they were too busy to talk to me, I left multiple messages and heard nothing back from them. They obviously do not care.

Not many bargains, but did see many workers. Could not find the small 2 tier shopping carts to use as I was only looking for a few items.Did not get gas, but the sign did state cheaper than surrounding Giant locations.

I’d rate this place higher for the fact they are never busy and I love non-busy grocery stores due to my social anxiety. But they’re getting a one star review because of how some employees acted last summer. I’m a heavier woman, but I never let that stop me from dressing in ways that let me feel comfortable on hot summer days. Well there were literally a group of several employees pointing and laughing at me, sneering at me, and I’m going to assume it’s because I dared to dress in a skirt that day. I had a lone employee walk up to me and say “sweetie, I love your outfit and keep your head up” so I’m sure it was about me. It’s unforgivable to have such immature employees that they aren’t doing their job, just making fun of customers for trying to keep cool in the summer. Oh and I was pregnant too!!Also they have such disgusting bathrooms that rarely have toilet paper. Total trash.

As a walk in I always look for deals. Sign says 6.99 lb reg 9.99lb. Small print under says digital coupon. So sale price is actually 8.99 lb. Should be a crime to write like that. How much extra work do they unnecessarily make people go thru to save money. Cards, coupons, digital coupons. It's all a racket anymore.

It is 2022 and there are near zero plant based lunch meat and cheese options. What they did have they were out of. Found a much better selection at Walmart of all places.Martins responded to me as you can see below. Two weeks later and still no Plant based meat options (as pictured).

I went to the airport check for my car and paid $2 using my debit card, debit card already charged for 4 bucks and air check $2 . Which didn't work at allWested my time at customer service and told me to get my money next day. Worst experience ever at giant, never visit again

Giant bonus card makes groceries shopping more doable. Nice staff. The meat staff are really good at their job, knowledgeable, patient and kind.

My husband and I just moved to this area. When you walk into this Giant not one employee smiles. They look miserable. When asked about the rewards card, the woman behind the counter became frustrated, looked at the other woman and said, “ could you do this?” I just left. I bought bagels from the bakery and there was a hair inside it 🤮. The person in the meat dept didn’t know what veal was or where the lamb is. The cold cuts were so expensive and tasted bad. Wait, I’m giving its three stars?! It was very clean, had nice produce, and good selection. Meat selection was terrible. I changed to two. Never did get my card.Update: received reply from Corp. followed their requests and received an auto response that basically said, “ Hi.”

The store is clean and orderly. One issue is when I tried to use my points towards my grocery bill, I was told I had to download the Giant app. The app wouldn't connect to my card. The information desk told me the app doesn't work, and you can only use the points for gas.

The Giant app has cost me a lot of time, frustration and peace of mind. I have spent several hours trying to correct something that was no fault of mine. I have been a loyal customer ever since the Shippensburg branch opened. At this point in time, I am very frustrated with giant food store.

Our Giant is so clean and friendly. I like how they have sales on new items. I do wish our grocery packer didn't pull hair from his beard before packing my groceries.

Digital coupons only for certain items- don't have the app to download a coupon? Then you Can't use the coupon. Why not the same price for everyone on everything? Why? Why even print a flyer with your ad if you aren't going to have the coupons available as well. Very disappointed in only people with apps being able to use the coupons. Isn't this discrimination?

This is the worst laid out Giant I've ever been to. It's impossible to navigate without extreme guess work because there are no signs marking aisles with what products are in them. There aren't even any numbers on the aisles so the outdated store directory hanging at the front is all but useless. My 1st of two instacarts thawed while I was shopping here for the second one.

I went through the self check line around 8pm on Saturday. The store wasn't very busy. The girl running the self check outs sat in bagging area the entire time I was checking out. I walked past her to leave and she looked up at me and didn't say anything. I've never left Giant without an employee saying have a good day or something! Very rude!

Great employees. Always clean. Never really crowded. Shelves are stocked. Great deals. I love there deli. And there hot plate dinner stuff is good. Roasted chicken, Mac and cheese. Not really dried out like other places. Bakery could use alittle help. Meat always looks good. Department always cleaned. But all n all, nice giant to go to.

The best bread around! I love the fresh bread they have in the bakery area and the bakery attendant was so kind as to cut it for me too! I love this GIANT so much I applied to work there but I did receive an amazing job offer so I had to decline the job but thank you to everyone for being so kind and helpful all the time! I love shopping here!

Until recently I enjoyed shopping here. The staff was, and continues to be, courteous and helpful, and the selection of foods is good. This is my neighborhood store.Recently, however, they've increased the number of self-service registers at the expense of employee-operated registers.I often bag my groceries when the lines are long and the checker is slammed. Now management expects me to perform the duties they paid someone to do. I've tried the self-service lanes maybe five times in the past. It worked like a charm once.Perhaps this is a function of age, but it seems I might not be the only one.Robots are winning.

My review is only this low because strawberries shot up to $8 a small box :'( demand and Valentine's day is rough.The parking was a bit crowded. Snow could have been plowed better. And ruffles organic chips have been out for like a month.

Very, very fresh beautiful produce. I was looking for broccoli & cauliflower, both of which they had. The quality was exquisite. Freshest I have found anywhere around. And the price was very reasonable

Went into to buy soda, went to soda isle and coke products say 3/10 so when I get to register they ring up at 4.99 each and they tell me 3/10 is next week they just put the tags up early. I explain to them that the price on the shelf is the cutomer facing price and I'm told I can either pay 4.99 each or put them back. So I had to ask for management before the supervisor reluctantly and with attitude finally sold them to me at the price that was on the shelf. The cashier was nice but the supervisor needs to take a customer service class. I work in retail myself when you are changing over tags for a new sales week you do it after the store closes to avoid this problem.

This is a farming community, not exactly your Whole Food or Wegman Shopper. But I can tell you this the produce and is FAR superior than those two stores. They have a great selection of grocery items and to be quite frank, for a town this size they certainly have good selection.

Very disappointed they don't have cashiers anymore! If I have to scan and bag a full cart of groceries they should be offering a 10% discount on my groceries! Self checkout is convenient for a few items but not for a full cart. Hugh FAIL Giant Foods!

Best giant on the east coast. However I did not see any gender non binary bathrooms in the place? How could this be in a time with so much confusion on what a person's gender is? What are they supposed to do? Just hold it? What if they can't? What a mess this could cause.

Much better than the Norland store as far as empty shelves go. They had the "cold bags" for our cold stuff. Norland is out of them?? !! Produce was very nice. Checker and bagger were nice.

You should maybe think about hiring new staff that doesn’t get annoyed when you interrupt their conversation. 5 to 6 associates gathered around customer service talking instead of helping customers that need help. Cashiers had to help while Kaitlyn seemed annoyed that we interrupted her conversation. Also we have to scan and bag our own groceries now. Who’s really working here?

Every time I go here the cashiers are rude, hard to find things your looking for like today dried fruit is suppose to be in isle 1 but it's not, limited selection for many items. I only go here if its for something quick. Other than that I go to walmart/B&B/ Dutch country store.
