The manager there is not very nice. I bought a $2.50 pack of gum and went to pay with a 20.00 bill she said I can't take a 20.00 for such a low buy. So I had to give her a 5.00 I said but I need smaller bills she never answered me. Never said have a nice day nothing. Very rude.

Had everything I was looking for at good prices. Was greeted when I entered the store, even though they were busy when I went in. Some empty shelves, but the employees were working on restocking them. Love Dollar General better than Walmart. Go there often & will continue to.

Sometime last week, (I wish I could remember the exact date) I was shopping at the Dollar General on Orrstown Rd. in Shippensburg. I always have extremely positive experiences from over 90 percent of the time. Well last week I was shopping and this middle aged man was at the counter belittling the cashier because she could not find the exact cigarettes he was looking for. It was absolutely horrible. I know she is a newer associate and can't remember her name but she handled the situation like a total pro. I don't think I could have handled it that well. She defused the situation. Great Job. Thanks for being a clean store with friendly staff. I always feel comfortable when I am there. Thank you.

Was great the first few months of being opened. Last visit wasn't so great. Merchandise all over the floors. Shelves were empty. Only one person working that created a line at the checkout..

They had the items I needed, the store was clean, and the sales clerk was nice. There was a broken figure in the stones outside that could have been dangerous had someone stepped on it but I would have to visit again to see if anyone cleaned it up.

Love this store , it could be a little cleaner .. But that dont stop me from shopping there, I wish I could work there , now that we have to new ones . Very closed to my home . Great store..

Clean store, staff is friendly shelves well stocked. These people are underpaid at 8 an hour. This store is best Dollar Store I've seen in years.

Who rates a dollar general? I guess I do. It's ok... cheap prices on some things and a mark up on others. Glorified convenience store really but damnit does it typically have what you need in a pinch.

They had the items that I wanted and the employees were nice enough but the shelves could be stacked better and the the aisles in the store had some things in them that made it look kinda dumpy

Convenient Dollar General. Good selection, friendly staff. We needed some last minute fall table cloths, they had just what we needed. We would shop there again.

Super friendly. A little messy but thats usually how it goes in the dollar type store. Shelves needed stocked but I still found what I needed.

One of the better dollar generals I've been in, but I always get a little miffed that things aren't actually always a dollar. Nice things I suppose, good location, clean and friendly.

The visit was very good the girl was really helpful she got me a cart and lifted 2 big bags of dirt i will go to that vetse king st.

It has pretty cheap stuff, very affordable. Got a bunch of decorative boxes for the small price of 6 dollars.

The old man with ponytail, that is the manager of the store on Orrstown Rd, should be fired! Who goes on break when there is a long line? One register open and takes 20 minutes to check out a few items. This is total bulls▪▪▪!!

Unreliable when they are open. Just went there and they are closed. Delivery guy is there and a customer waiting and store is dark inside and locke . Hours sign is down, but website states they are open
