They have bacon when Walmart doesn't. They have hamburg when Walmart doesn't. They have human checkout, Walmart doesn't. They have things made in America, Walmart doesn't. Friendly people working for a family owned store. Best looking women in Shinglehouse. The guys are handsome . Lol. What more can you want? Okay. An eat in menu of cooked to order fried foods. If you don't see it they'll order it for you . And something is always on sale at deep discounts

Great little store for our area. This store faces challenges, the economics of a small rural community, but it does it well. The owners are good people and always greet you with a smile. Any local who complains about this store, needs to imagine the town without it, and remember where we come from. I enjoy shopping at a Tops or in the grocery section of a Wal-Mart from time to time for a larger selection but it's not a necessity. Pros: The store is clean and a surprising selection for its size. The staff and owners are awesome. Meat selection is decent, always fresh, and their ground beef is what I consider, for flavor, to be top notch. The deli does lunches, stocks good quality meats, and cheeses such as Cooper and Kretschmar meats. If you want something, a brand, item, or food that's not available in the store...in most cases the owners will try to order it in for you. If you're waiting in line to check out, they'll summon someone stocking shelves to open another register. All in all, awesome little store. Cons: Produce, at times, can be marginal. This is, in no way, a reflection on the store as it is on our area. This isn't Tops or Wal-Mart. If you want that sort of thing in your backyard...move to the city.
