Went there today as my only purchase for the day and went to self check out and pretty sure there's a card reader on it. They stole 65.00 from my account. Called and the person I spoke with didn't seem to care much. Watch going to self check out at this store!!!!

The shelves aren't stocked half the time. I constantly see people out for a cigarette but thats about it, other than the cashier. And they aren't even there half the time. Its not very clean. The employees want to stick their nose in the air half the time. NOT EVEN GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ANYONE IN THERE BUT ONE! I wont go in there unless I know Tracy is working. She's a beast when it comes to her job and she's always happy to help someone with a smile on her face. The other employees look like they dont even want to be working there or have too much time to gossip and not enough of working.

First visit. At least more than 1 employee in store. Disorganized and cluttered. Hardly inviting and first impression is lasting. Shelves not stocked and what was on shelves was in disarray. Clerk at register was fast but not inviting. I see this as general feeling among all Dollar Generals and Family Dollar stores within radius of Loysville thru Shermans Dale. Newport has a slight edge on all, as the manager lady is hands on and seemingly cares. When management cares, it reflects.

For those who complain about the slow employee or individual with an odor, kindly speak with the manager. The employees are good people and try and do their very best. The managers are wonderful. I'm happy to shop there and satisfyed with the shopping experience.

I don't really care to much for this dollar general. It's always so sloppy and messy. Not to mention the one cashier I had was pretty rude. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what.Usually when I stop here it's because I forgot something and it was on the way home. Otherwise I try to avoid this DG at all costs.

They accept Fedex packages including ground, home delivery and express. very nice to have around

Don't always have everything I want or are out of everything I'm looking for but it doesn't happen alot. What can I say it's only a dollar store nothing fancy. Staff is definitely helpful and friendly. I'd recommend it.

It's convenient they have a couple employees that are less then desirable one about knocked me over with the body oder that was coming off him an one employee is very slow so I avoid going into her lines or avoid going at all when she's working a blast but not least the very unfriendly one who you thing would crack her face to smile...I give this store a four star rating because very close to home so very convenient an the store is always clean

Good deals, just gotta do a little leg work and look around. The staff is usually very helpful and are always well stocked. Good clearance sections, everything is a dollar or under in that section

It seems that every time I go there for a FEW items, they are out of at least one or two of the items I needed. Somehow, I always spend more than I planned on....but the employees are friendly.

The store is often in disarray. I only shop here if I don't want to drive over the mountain to Carlisle or Mechanicsburg. They never have enough staff and the bathrooms are bad.

I went there for black acrylic paint to finish a started project. They did not have any left, but instead they had black spray paint! Project safed!
