When it comes to pharmacies, there are a wide array of choices. If you are looking to purchase scripts from a large franchise, then Rite Aid in Shavertown is where you want to go. Always on the ball in respect to making sure your scripts are filled in a timely fashion and the staff there are always pleasant and alert. You cannot judge the store by the prices of other products because you must remember, this is not Walmart, it's a pharmacy with other items that you would never purchase under normal circumstances. Thus, the prices of other things are going to be astronomically higher. It's the nature of the beast.

Conveniently located with customer friendly hours including their pharmacy hours. Large selection of merchandise. Fair amount of empty shelves but seems to have the essentials.

Yeah, I've been going here for a lil less than a year and after the first month. All I got was nasty attitude from everyone in the pharmacy there. I go in to fill my prescription and will fill other people's prescription before mine that aren't there to pick it up yet, and will make you wait a hour every time. I understand you guys have a job to do, and need to get people's prescription filled, but I also know it doesn't take more than 2 minutes to fill a prescription. Why do you make someone that's there wait to get their prescription. I really wasn't going to say anything, but seeing people's experiences are the same as mine, I feel that I had to. It's pretty bad how much disrespect they show.

I just moved to Dallas in November 2023 it is now May 2023 they never have me or my grandson’s medicine. Or it is not done on time . They never call or text to tell me the medication is not available I show up the next day to pick up medication and they don’t have it they need to order it and will be there in 2 days or so . My grandson has severe asthma and needs this medicine I got no call at all I could of went to another rite aid or drug store while I was out today , they are rude and unprofessional and uncaring. I might make a complaint against them and get a different drug store . It is a shame because my family has been with rite aid drugstore for 50 years or more .

accused me of stealing when i just looked at a product! horrible service from employees, and they kept following me around, i was simply browsing the products. if customers arent allowed to do that without being accused of stealing then you shouldnt have a business. SMH my head

Store ok. Pharmacy BAD. Nothing but bad attitude and ignorance from people in pharmacy. If they are busy it's worse. Expect to get hung up on if you call. My prescription wasn't sent right or in error and the pharmacy never contacted me If I didn't call I would have never known. When I did call, they treated me like it was MY fault and with a lot of disrespect. I didn't do anything but call to see if my medication was there. Then the lady was talking to someone off phone, and came back and asked me if I heard that. She was talking to someone else then a manager or some male got on the phone with and was really forward and unnecessarily loud and forceful. It sounded like he grabbed the phone from the first person and told me to call back later. Even my doctors office nearby said they should have contacted me and told me they received my e-prescription in error and it needed to be resent. They (Rite Aid) never contacted me and I wouldn't have known. It wasn't my responsibility Anyway.....Go to another pharmacy. Cook's or a smaller more personable one. They only insult you and never inform you if something is wrong and if they are busy, well you'll be treated like garbage. At first I thought it was only one or two people but it turns out it's everyone in the pharmacy. I called my Dr's office, even they said they would not call there.The store workers are nice. Pharmacy gets an "F" for everthing. The only reason there is 1 star is it's impossible to give zero in the reviews.

Nothing but exemplary customer service from this group. Pharmacy staff go out of their way to make you feel valued as a customer. The store has the feel of an old mom and pop corner store where everyone knows your name.

Great selection and friendly staff.. I don't understand why the other reviews said that the staff is terrible and unfriendly- I've never had a bad experience with them. They're wonderful.
