We stopped in on a Sunday and enjoyed the experience very much. Very nice staff, well organized, comfortable and clean. I'm looking forward to going back in the fall for Halloween decorations.The building is very old. Use caution on the very steep steps.

The store is located in a very small town , according to the latest census data population of around 455 people. After sending Mr Kevin Good multiple high quality pictures of items for sale, we agreed on prices for a mid century chair & a rare board game. They day he was supposed to arrive , he couldn’t come because a worker for his construction company called in sick. I believe the store is primarily his daughter’s business. A little later in the morning he showed up with less than 10 minutes notice. He excels at making excuses. Numerous excuses were made about why he couldn’t purchase items including the agreed upon items. His favorite excuse seemed to be “ I can’t get that much in my store “ His store is in a rural are & definitely not a hot bed of mid century modern furniture. I explained to him that I was not doing “ yard sale pricing “ & did not begrudge someone from making a profit. But the final word was “ I will let you know.” My advice is too not waste any time trying to sell to this business.

Great spot . Family owned easy on off 78 with parking .They appreciate resellers and dealers with pricing flexibility. Mid Century, Glass , Collectables etc

Great large antique store with a lot to choose from. Although Dark Nest Travels has minimized, we still love browsing a great selection of nostalgia and this place delivers. Stop in, browse and buy some reasonably priced antiques. Thanks Danny for the awesome service in helping me find some PA Hex's!

I have passed this place many times, but one rainy fall day my husband and I ventured in. The atmosphere was very comfortable. We were the only customers for that hour or so, but that just added to the peaceful ambience.Each room is set up with beautiful, cozy furniture and knick knack displays in realistic settings; like Ikea, but with interesting vintage items. It is clean and somehow not too cluttered, even though they do have a lot to see and buy.I left there feeling like it would be a cool place to just hang out! We were told that we could send them photos and details about items they may be interested in taking off our hands, which is cool. They suggested we write to them through Facebook messenger when that time comes.I do want to note that before we departed, I was taken aback when we were asked why we took "so many pictures". Apparently the owner was watching us on the various security cameras from home and didn't know what to make of it.I explained that we took photos because their store is beautiful and inspiring. Further, it was a thrill seeing some of the old items from our childhoods in such good condition. For me, the greyish cloud-filtered light coming in through the windows, especially in the kitchen upstairs, seemed to intensify my nostalgia.I recommend this shop if you appreciate old buildings with creaky original floors, steep staircases, and really cool collectibles at reasonable prices! I look forward to visiting again.
