They apparently sell a lot of hot dogs. I asked for a Chicago style hot dog. They weren't to sure what one was, so we talked about it. The hot dog wasn't exactly a Chicago style one but I think it was as close as they could make it. I would go back and try again, at least they tried. The restaurant was very clean and organized from I could see.

The food is amazing. Staff is very friendly. Their homemade sausage for their Italian sausage sandwiches is awesome. Homestyle dinners, homemade meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which my daughter LOVES. Old-school, diner food. Prices are good.Sometimes, less IS more.We will be back there in a few days to grub some more.

We stop here when we visit Kranak's in Hermitage.It's more than a just a hotdog shop. They have dinners here, too!My husband had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, and I had liver and onions and mashed potatoes and gravy, and a cup of bean and ham soup.The food is good and the portions are large.

I ordered a breakfast meal there was hair in the food.Gave them another chance because I love their home fries & the lady gave me whatever she wanted me to have and didn’t add any of my additional items I ordered and payed for. There was also hair in the food AGAIN! I meant to do this review last week but I’m just getting around to it. The cooks need something over their heads, the waitress needs to match the order with the receipts before bagging it!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. It's been around forever and I've only really ever been inside once and I don't think I tried the food back then. We were looking for a good cheap diner breakfast and decided to stop into the hotdog shop. My sister got a pretty traditional eggs and toast breakfast that was very good and I got a gyro. The gyro was what really caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting much at all but man let me tell you, the meat was absolutely spectacular. It was thick and flavorful and delicious. We got two entrees for dine in and one to go and the bill was only $26 and change so you honestly can't beat the price either. I'd go again for sure.

I bought 8 hot dogs and a soda here in order to surpass the $10 minimum card charge. I ate 5 of those delicious dogs and felt absolutely awful on the drive back to Erie. I almost passed out on i-79. I think I might have diabetes.(Included photo is the videogame and vape store next door. They don't sell any kind of hotdogs there. Why would you anyways when the hot dog shop is seriously RIGHT THERE?)

Waitress gave us dirty silverware when asked for a fork she said they didn’t have any, toast was cold and hard as a rock, asked both waitresses for coffee and a customer got up and got us coffee..the waitress we had disappeared the other waitress acted like she couldn’t wait on us, the coffee was horrible tasted old..very very poor service

I love the food been going there for years even with my mom as a kid but when I was working the census a couple years ago the owner was really disrespectful to me even was rude enough to offer me money like I needed his money to order something when I was trying to do was the people that work for him they were constantly sending me to their home which is above his store I was trying to send an appointment with them to make it more convenient instead of doing their work hours I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life not a good way for an owner to act especially when somebody's trying to help improve our neighborhood by counting people to get the money that we need for our community so he's only worried about the money he's making not his community

The service they're & the Hometime atmosphere and how much they make you welcome there is just as good as their food is the corned beef sandwich was off the hook. Also, their coleslaw was great, very original twist w/ horseradish n mustard. I loved, for under $10 you can't beat it!!! Go Sharon Hot Dog Shoppe.👍

I visited this place, yesterday and ordered a large serving of chili and cheese fries, some onion rings, and two plain bacon cheeseburgers. A lovely woman named Angela topknot order. She was very nice and made sure I had everything I ordered. The bacon cheeseburgers were delicious. The onion rings were crispy and golden, and the chili cheese fries were amazing! Everything was delicious and I'm definitely going to visit this place again! There are lots of great foods to try!

I used to think this place was the BEST. The last few visits were disappointing esp the latest. The staff was poor and unprofessional. Nomasks. Poor and slow service. The waitress brought out our hot dogs and we waited ten minutes (or more) for fries. She seemed more interested in talking w her friend. The bacon on the BLT was colder than the lettuce and tomato. The sauce was lacking flavor. The fries USED to be crinkle cut now they are not. The food was just "food". Very mediocre at best. The service was as poor as it can possibly get. Its sad bc I used to look forward to coming here (I live in Youngstown and don't get over there often). After this last visit I don't know that I will return. REALLY disappointing to say the least. Seems to have really gone downhill.

I must say that I walked in without knowing that in a half hour the restaurant would be closing. I waited for the only waitress working to finish closing the patrons she was assisting to order the 10 hot dog meal deal that I was ordering at the end of a full day for my family . Angela, the kind waitress, took my order and served me anyway. Thank you Angela for the warm welcome and outstanding service! God Bless you honey, I will be back soon, but maybe not 15 minutes to close! AND... THE FOOD IS GOOD, BUT WITH HOSPITABLE PEOPLE LIKE ANGELA, THE FOOD TASTED EVEN BETTER!

The food is always good, especially the hot dogs, the prices phenomenal, and the place is always exceptionally clean. I have been going here since I was a kid and knew the owners, great people. Whenever I come back, I always try to stop and grab a couple dogs or a gyro. It brings back great memories.

This place was great. We are new to the area. Have gone there 3 times. Twice for take out once for eat in breakfast. The service is great, the food is great & the owner is awesome. Love their prices and menu 👌💯

Not bad, but not the best. Their chili sauce tastes like it came from a can. Their food was just okay. The servers are friendly. It's a little run down inside. There are other hot dog shops that I would choose over this one.

Hot dogs inexpensive and fairly good. Fries were great. Egg salad sandwich was delicious. Place was very clean and service prompt. Nothing to write home about but they get alot of regulars that keep coming back! They've been in that location for a long time. Parking is a nightmare. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat then go shopping in unique downtown Sharon it may be a decent choice. Their are other eateries to choose from that you may want to check out first.

I started coming here with my Great Grandma as a small child. The service has always been efficient and the food cheap. If you are a regular they remember you... Food is basic, they do not accept credit cards... But it's all very good!
