Very bad customer service at this location. First trip I spent way too much and they never handed me a receipt. Later on needed some toothache gear so headed back to get some orajel and ask for a duplicate of my receipt. The cashier couldn’t have been more rude. She stepped up like trying to intimidate me. All I know is she won’t have that job long. It’s the tall straggly lady that resembles a horse. She looks like a man but I’m almost sure it’s a female. Who knows?

I just wanna start off saying this is one of the best dollar generals that I like to go to.. today TJ was so unhappy with his life. He had to be rude and disrespectful to a female because I asked him a simple question. He is not good in customer service, and he doesn’t need to work in customer service any longer. Or he need training both guys working need to be fired

The DG has everything I need to avoid going far to other big retailers who can't be bothered to sell spray paint. That's right, spray paint is at the DG! I was denied access to the locked cabinet because of rioting...I asked for clear from that big wig retailer, but no one would serve me. I needed clear acrylic for my art work. Turns out DG has clear spray paint, canvasses, glitter, notebooks, chocolate, lots of chocolate! They even have toddler gear for when the grandbabies visit. We got a swimming pool, bubbles, frisbees, board games, puzzles, and action figures. This store is well stocked, well organized, and super clean. It was like this even before Covid 19. They are very helpful and always smiling. Thanks DG for getting it right. Maybe you can help the big wig store understand customers are always right. Thank you for respecting my right of artistic expression. Kw

Let me tell you a Dollar General want to treat the employees like they slays and pay them little money and want them the first day back every day indicated they got a family why they sit at home every day and have a conference call with you why are you working the register and everything by yourself how they lied to employees how did getting more money but they’re not they’re only giving them $.50 and a lie and said that they broke and they not broke they got Dollar General stores all around the country

Nice selection of items at great prices. Only negative I had was the cashier. She called me to the register while she was on her cellphone. Not only did she continue her conversation while scanning my items but then in the middle of my transaction, she stops so I ask her if something was wrong and she puts her finger up to indicate to give her a second so she can finish talking to whoever it was on the phone.

It’s dirty & it stinks so bad. I’ve literally seen dead mice laying out in front of the door. The place smells like it’s filled with dead rats! They are never stocked & nothing is ever in place. It’s honestly a tragedy because I was an assistant manager here & I helped set this store up when it first opened. For a long time it was the best in the district! Poor management ruined the place.

Has a lot of great products for low prices. They have a variety of snacks and other products and other household items that you can get for better prices than most big name retailers.

They are doing some remodeling and it is very hard to find the things that you need I will save the Darby Dollar General is always at 100% I think the manager's name is Hector again the Darby Dollar General is doing better as far as I'm concerned and this one hopefully they will get it together because it is very convenient they did take out the clothes in which also is a negative I think I met the owner I want to say when they were removing can't say he was the nicest person the staff is always polite but again very hard to find what you need

Every time I walk to the Sharon Hill store for cigarettes they never want my ID .Walked in a lot of pain today and the salesperson wouldn't sell them to me cause I didn't have ID . I'm 56 years old and definitely look it. I will never shop there again! At my age I shouldn't need to show ID! Will never shop there again!!

While all other places were out of disinfectant wipes, I was able to find some here for a good price. The cashier was very friendly as well. Would consider coming back.

Very smart! People who live in these areas don’t spend money on necessities.like toothpaste,toilet paper, etc. they spend hundreds on sneakers,clothing, thousands on cars, money for weed and booze. That’s why there are dolla stores. 🤡

I live in west Philly and I've been in their 48th and Brown st store. I literally couldn't find anything and maybe in 4 years by chance spent $100 in that store. Outta all Dollar General Stores yours is the best. stocked, clean, and representable a affordable DOLLAR store yet...Family Dollar really has nothing on DG. If their franchise, owners put focus on hiring respectful mangers and training for employees...WOW. FD stores DG stores, Save a Lot store's and Shop Rite stores in west Philly have the most ignorant disrespectful employees ever...That's Why I shop elsewhere...Love your store.

This store was a TOTAL MESS. Things are so out of place and strewn all over the place. Was disgusted and annoyed 😒 You can tell they don't organize after closing because it was the same the day before

Overpriced products just aren't my thing. There are three major dollar stores in my area. Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, & Dollar General. Dollar General is my least favorite of the three because of the overpriced products.
