The service here is remarkable. The staff and doctors are willing to listen and help assist with your pets medical needs. I been bringing my cat here for almost 6 months and I have to say I never left upset. When there are a high volume of pets please be patient with them. They will appreciate that. They have services like grooming and dorms as well for your pets needs.

My dog was having digestive issues and the vet I normally use was not available. I called and left a message Friday night (4th of July weekend) and received a call Saturday morning at 8am, I was given an appointment for 12pm. The staff was great, Dr. Mapp is wonderful, the other people there with their pets were so friendly as well. I will be bringing both of my dogs to this practice. I left with all the medication I needed for my dog and expected to pay more for everything that was done, very reasonably priced. Great experience, I'm glad I found them.

If you’re looking for someone to tell you “nice” lies about what is going on with your pet, go some place else. If you’re looking for an expert with ALL the knowledge and experience necessary to properly care for your pet, Dr. Mapp at Delco Veterinary is your person. She’s direct, no nonsense and is as good as it gets, but don’t expect to be coddled. She saves all the coddling for your fur baby. Her support staff is helpful, kind and knowledgeable. My dog has had emergency surgery twice in her office with no complications. Yes, the office is small and a little tight, but my dog has never complained. Dr Mapp does X-rays, bloodwork, tests etc.. right in the office. She and her assistants literally saved my dog’s life, which I’m grateful for, because Cookie is my baby, and my grandson’s big sis.

I am APPALLED at this vet office. My husband accompanied our neighbor/friend to have his beloved dog put down. The staff there was rude and insensitive. His dog was suffering and had cancer. Yet the staff tried to convince him to just pay for another surgery and see how it goes, but his poor dog was utterly suffering. When they finally listened to him with his wishes to put his dog down they asked him if he wanted to keep the ashes. Our friend said no and rather than discretely noting that, the vet just called out “public cremation” to the staff. My husband was appalled to say the least. When our friend started crying and saying he had hoped it wasn’t cancer, the vet just responded with “well I told you it was sooooo.” Disgusting.

First visit on November 15, 2019. I took my 18-year-old cat, Lexi, to get a checkup due to her losing a lot of weight over the last year. I got lost and ended up being almost a half hour late which I did call and they gave me the correct address and said it was still OK to come. There was a delay while waiting for my current vet to fax over Lexi's records. Their fax machine was not working correctly. Lexi has thyroid and white cell level issues and she is 8 lbs. compared to her once 16 lbs. Dr. Mapp is VERY thorough and patient. She takes her time explaining everything. I was the only client there the entire time I was there which was close to 3 hours. That is really the only complaint I have, I never expected to be there that long. I was also disappointed with the bill. It was much higher than I had hoped. I left my other veterinary hospital because their prices were outrageous. There was lab work involved and an antibiotic shot and pills but it was $300! I know first time visits can be higher but I was still not expecting that. I was told their prices are very reasonable. The assistant apologized - even she didn't think the lab work would cost that much. I do plan on going back. Thanks Dr. Mapp for your expertise and care of my cat.

Dr. Mapp's practice offers the calm assurance of quality care, from the first phone encounter with Sue(veterinary receptionist/assistant) to the warm goodbye at the end of appointment.Dr. Mapp is the best! : thorough, knowlegeable, approachable, and compassionate towards animals and their persons. Our cat Vader had an easy, very relaxed experience at the doctor's office and in her very capable hands, and it's good to know that his future care will be given in such a nice place and by such nice people. I appreciate and recommend this practice, which manages to superbly combine medical modernity with a comfortable sense of hominess.

I called to set up a Rabies shot and wellness check for my German Shepherd. They took me the same day and were very nice and professional. Their prices are fair and their clinic is clean.There is parking on the side of the road in the front of the building.This will be my new place to go to. I recommend!!P.s: It is IN CLINIC work and not road side like other places due to covid. This is a plus!!

We needed a quick checkup for our guinea pig. Most places were closed for the holiday weekend and were taking limited patients due to the pandemic. Delco Vet squeezed us in today. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The dr. was very informative and helpful as well as answered all of our concerns. We are very grateful for Delco Vet and how amazing they treated us ❤
