Great thrift store! Tons of options for every category. You could be in there for hours. They have a ton of clothes for every person and it is organized very clearly. There were a lot of people working so the line was pretty short. They have some nicer houseware items, too. If you need a holiday sweater, they have a ton of options here.

I only stop in this store on my way to or back from road trips. The store is deceptively huge, but the merchandise is of average to poor quality, with little or no home goods, furniture or anything else. Just isles and isles of cheap clothes at sometimes unusually high prices. However if that's what your looking for you will probably find something, I still do. But you really have to rummage. Other than that, the staff is friendly, the store is clean, the music is annoying, the stuff on the counters is overpriced, but some of the money goes to charities. It's not too bad but iv been to better stocked thrift stores.

Adventure for collectibles. I have found some vintage glass. The friendly staff are always putting out new merchandise. Great deals always.

It was a nice day out shopping with my friend who is like a mom Vicki . I really need clothes so I suggested going to Community Aide Thrift Store . We were so blessed with great service a variety of different sizes and clothing. It's senior citizens day and I am eligible to cash in on this so wow I was blessed with all this for 56.00 . I am excited so I put on one of my new outfits . This is it <3 Thank you Community Aide ps I love listening to Christian Radio while I'm shopping. I always ask Jesus to help me find bargains and my size . Today was a great day.

What a spaciously clean place!! I love how the store was organized and how fresh it looked. I was passing through going back home to Virginia and I had to stop!! There was a peaceful atmosphere and I will come back again.

Got kicked out of the store because my 4 year old son was sitting in the cart! They took my shopping cart. Took the clothing I was going to buy. Tried taking my daughter’s jacket that i owned and yelled at my son to get out of the cart by the store manager. I am disgusted by the disrespect this store gave me and my 2 children.

100s of items behind the counter, but no one can look at them. 2 gum-chewing, adolescents said "you have to ask to see an item". You can't even tell what items are from 20 feet away. I would have to asked to see one item at a time if I had the time. I asked to see the manager and got a "Hmmmf" instead, as they rang up customers. I was and still am utterly disgusted a store would be run so poorly.

definitely one of the best thrift stores in the states. Everything is so cheap (much better than online thrift store)

I was at Community Aid Thrift Store on Saturday evening 1-4-2020.I saw this beautiful brand new wedding dress with tags. Any young bride would love this dress and not wanting to pay a lot of money...however the dress was displayed terribly. The train on the dress was laying on the floor and dirty. This dress should have been off the floor on a higher stand, or something placed on the floor under the dress to keep it clean. Now whoever buys this dress with have to pay more money to have it dry cleaned. Please train employees on how to display items in a proper manner.

Huge selection, better priced than competition, sales on varying days, usually short checkout times

Saw a video of this store on TikTok and finally got the chance to visit. It was a big store, and very well organized. Somehow it was just not what I was expecting. Not a bad shop by any means. Definitely worth a trip.

If you like paying full blown retail for donated items, this is your place. Community Aid is trying to be a specialty boutique, like Buffalo Exchange or Plato's Closet- at least their prices suggest as much. The problem is, they don't selectively buy the items that people bring in, they take whatever is dumped in their boxes, but don't price it like they got it for free. They alledge to be "neighbors helping neighbors", but they're taking advantage of people with little money, who can't afford much. It used to be that poor people could at least look like they could afford decent things by going to places like this. Now, you can literally get the same things online, or shop sales at Marshall's, or even Boscov's, and get the same or better prices, with more selection. I don't know how they can claim to be a "non-profit". Dollar Tree items- $2. Bargain bin records- $15. Sterling earrings (that are $10 new) $15-20. And I get it. They can charge whatever they want. But the whole noble and altruistic angle needs to change. Instead of "Neighbors helping neighbors", maybe change it to "If you don't like the price, don't buy it".

Watch out for high prices on select things. I do like how large the store is, I remember it being a ValuCity store as a kid.

I can't complain about this place. Was able to find a few pairs of nylons for a girl I was dating at the time. It was a relief because I'd been to 3 other thrift places that day and they had none at all...however Community Aid had a rack in the back corner filled with hose.

They do have a ton of options and that's awesome but they are pricey in my opinion for a thrift store.

I’m not sure how a place can be so big but still have nothing. Honestly, the vastness of the building is a real bait-and-switch. Many of the racks were bare, and unfortunately for me, it was for the items for which I was looking: men’s sweaters, sweatshirts, t-shirts as well as those items for boys and women. For a store that size, there was hardly any furniture or home goods. No electronics, cameras, etc. And the little items of the value or interest they might have, they mark up in price and place on special tables. I honestly think there is more to offer in any Goodwill I’ve ever been in.All was nicely arranged by color and it was certainly a clean place. I have to say, though, it kind of smelled like a bathroom sewage situation when we walked in—like how it smells when you try to cover it up with an air freshener or something. We stopped through coming home from a trip, going a bit out of our way to do so. Reading the reviews gave me the impression that this place was a worthwhile stop. That’s why I felt the need to write this; I wanted possibly to save others the trip if they, too, planned on going out of their way.Oh, they’re definitely piping in that Christian music in a very serious way—in case that isn’t your thing. This didn’t necessarily surprise me, but it doesn’t feel very welcoming to someone in the LGBTQ+ community and/or someone not aligned with the conservative message/Christian faith. Just saying.

Popped in to see what they had for sale. Prices seemed higher (comparable to eBay) for what I looked at, but at least three money goes to a charitable organization (I think).

Very nice. Cleanest Thrift store I've ever been in and I go to a lot of them. Employees were very pleasant. Only thing I didn't like when I went in I wasn't sure of color tags. The welcome board was a little confusing on the tags. One of the employees told me blue tag was dollar everything else should be half price except green tag. Not sure if everything was ringing upright because the wind took my receipt away before I could check it. But from the amount I spent I believe it is right. I will be definitely be making that one of my regular thrift stores

Nothing like self-righteous, holier-than-thou, condescension from an entitled thrift store employee. The lost a clock they had set back that wanted to buy. I'll swich the rating if they find it and actually get it. But nothing like an eff-you attitude from a woman who hasn't the slightest clue of herself trying to turn their eff-up into a virtue signal. Before that, the staff had been spatting.UPDATE: (like anyone cares)Two days later, I stopped in. The manager, whom had attempted to argue with me about a knock-off watch decided to lie to me about the clock I had been explicit about wanting. She stated that the girl who said "I'll set it back," had stated that she thought I was unsure. That is 100% incorrect. The problem isn't the mistake, the problems are the attitudes, and the lack of accountability- as if they're "too good" ti tell the truth- as if I'm stupid. This place isn't Christian. It's liberalism at it's peak- whatever they say, they believe.

The clothing is a good deal at the Community Aide. The price tags are colored. Throughout the week, one of the colored tags is a dollar. If the item is $19.99 and the right color, you get the item for a dollar. Wednesday is fifty percent off days. Every color is fifty percent off except for the new color of the week. Also, I donate stuff to the Community Aide. As a result, my donation supports the church that I go to. 👍

When they opened, this was an incredible store. Then, after about a couple years, it was it was a very good store. Then, after another couple years, it was ok for some stuff. Over the past few years, this has literally become the premiere location to pay full retail price on used items. The staff are 90% friendly and useful, BUT THE PRICES HAVE BECOME INSANE! If you would like to buy Dollar Tree hygiene and household items at 2-5x the Dollar Tree price, this is your place. A pair of unbranded, dry rotting snow shoes can be yours for $50. A common print in a common frame- $30. A worn pair of men's Red Head boots- $25. If the boots had a size, they'd probably charge more, but they don't even have a tag. Don't get me wrong, they have some decent stuff, but they are VERY proud of it. They claim to be "neighbors helping neighbors", but I don't think they consider the customers as neighbors. Basically, they're trying to be Buffalo Exchange, but they don't have Buffalo Exchange products.

They have tons of clothing for all different sizes. However, not many of the clothes are plus size. I do though enjoy the .99 cent stuffed animal bin, as I always get my pups a toy. As for the safety and service, all was well. Masks on and sanitizing. Plus, the six foot distancing. It was a nice trip.

I’ve never seen a thrift store thats so huge yet have so little to offer. Clothing wise, nothing great and of quality. Unless you want aeropostale and american eagle stuff, brands that no one cares for. Also shoes are priced insanely- saw many for $30-$40. This store is a pass for me.
