Everyone was standing by the registers when I went in and were still there when I got my screws and put them in a bag that I found and wrote down the price and i.d. number. No one offered to help or said anything until I got to the cash register to check out. I went in an hour before they closed, not like I was a last minute customer.

The service I received was outstanding! I am assuming the young man who waited on me was the manager as he had authority over the much younger associates on the floor. I was there with a door lock issue and couldn't find the size I needed. Since they didn't carry what I needed due to the age of the current lock, the kind man offered to rekey the old lock. I only paid for new keys. No, they didn't make the bigger sale for a new lock but they made a lasting impression that guaranteed I will be a return customer as well as spreading the word about their exceptional customer service. The kind man went far beyond what he was required to do and I am so grateful. Old fashioned customer service is rare but I recognized it immediately. Thank you to Coles, Selinsgrove.

Always a pleasant experience. Friendly and helpful employees. They even keep dog treats behind the registers for their favorite shoppers! ;) This new store location is larger with new parking so disregard older negative posts on those subjects.

Love this place. Looking for outside sidewalk lightning, very good selection. Had a hard time choosing which to buy. Wish I could have had them all. Would recommend to everyone.

WONDERFUL!!I LOVE this store in Selinsgrove, so neat n clean, n stocked well. The manager is very nice and kind. These stores need your business to stay in business!! Go shop there, they have ALL kindsa stuff there. Go and check it out!!

Coles is by far my favorite hardware store in the area. They may not be the best choice for large scale projects but the convenience of having one within a few miles of most towns around here is a live saver when you forget that fitting or need an odd ball screw last minute. The staff is beyond helpful and always eager to assist you.

I recently had a great shopping experience at the Selinsgrove store. A week before Mothers day I was in search of a specific item for a gift. Coles didnt have it in stock , but assured me it hey could have it mid week. I went to pick it up , the day before Mothers day. It was back ordered. The young man helping told me he could have it Monday. I told him it was for Mothers day. He made a phone call and asked me if I could be back in an hour. Sure ! Problem solved ! He had to go home for lunch , and picked it up on his way back to work ! In my opinion , that was good business and customer service. According to the receipt, his name was Ryan. I bet they wouldn't have done this at the "big box" stores !!! Thank you Ryan and Coles.

Coles in Selinsgrove is such a great place. These folks are incredibly helpful, they will special order things for you, give you advice and be all-around good folks. It's just like the friendly, neighborhood hardware store you remember from your childhood.

There is a sign saying masks are required but close to 50% were not wearing. I was uncomfortable and will not go back if the policy is not going to be enforced.
