We bought 2 dogs from this place and we were so lucky. We received the most wonderful dogs and had so much help from staff and the owner. We had no issues with our first pup, and we loved him that much that we came back for a second. The second pup we brought home and he was whimpering so we were worried something was wrong with him. The owner was available around the clock with any questions and advice to help our family adjust to our new addition. He recommended vet visits, products, advice and reassurance throughout. It turned out that our dog had no health issues, just adjusting to his new enviroment. They're both happy and healthy dogs. The best dogs we've ever had. Thank you so much for this experience. 100% recommend.

We got a beautiful Golden Retriever puppy from here a few weeks ago. She is happy and healthy! The store was clean, and the employees were helpful. Yes, the cages that they are in during working hours are a bit small but are in line with any other pet store I've seen. The animals all seemed pretty content and well cared for. Would definitely shop for pets here again!

I absolutely love going into this store! It’s very clean, smells nice, and the puppies are well cared for. My family and I purchased 2 puppies from them last year. They were very healthy and extremely energetic. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave us time to play with the pups. We were even told that we could bring our dog in for a meet and greet. They answered all of our questions and helped us pick out some of their favorite toys to bring home. Some of the staff had grown attached to our girls and visibly had tears when they were saying goodbye. The staff even showed me a couple cute videos that were taken of my puppies during their playtime. We had a couple issues with taking 2 sisters home and I called the owner (which they encourage you to do) and he helped tremendously and offered several suggestions to work through the issues. It is so nice to have an owner that cares beyond the sale. Since then, I have brought the pups in several times to visit and every single time, they run to them, with their butts wiggling. I cannot recommend this place strongly enough in this area, if you are looking for a nice family business with employees that love and care for the animals. I would never have purchased my dogs from here if I thought they had come from anywhere except a reputable breeder.

Wish i could give 0 stars. My boyfriend and I went here the other day and the bunnies had NO food, water or hay. They were eating their own feces. They looked sick. The bedding in their enclosure was NOT the correct one for them to have. They were in fish tanks. This place needs to be shut down. They dont care for their animals here.

Wide variety of small animals and plenty of puppies. Store was clean and staff friendly. There are three pens in the center of the store where 3 puppies ran about enjoying time out of their cage. While there for about 15min, a pen was rotated with a different puppy. Many breeds to select from. Take a look sometime.

This place is absolutely awful!!!!!!! The dog cages are extremely small for the many dogs in the store. The dogs can barely walk around yet stand up in these cages and there is no water inside these cages. The dogs look like they haven't been outside in weeks. We asked the employees what they do with the dogs overnight, THE DOGS ARE LEFT ALONE FROM 5PM TO 12 PM THE NEXT DAY. I am absolutely enraged about this. We also asked the employees if the puppy goes outside, THEY SAID NO. These poor animals stay inside these cages until they hopefully get adopted or end up dying. This is the conditions for only the dogs. I can't even describe the conditions of the other animals held in this store.

The puppies are without a doubt adorable. But not a single one under 2k. They no longer sell hamsters, and the cages with bunnies and guinea pigs were gross and way too over crowded. I feel terrible for these poor animals.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. This is disgusting and animal abuse. The dogs do not go outside, are not taken out of the cages and the dogs seem to be sick. They need to be SHUT DOWN! The workers admit the dogs are not being taken care of. Please boycott and get this place closed

I love the animals but unfortunately most of the staff makes you feel uncomfortable. Great pets for a hefty price tag. They must find a forever home. The staff needs guidance on customer service.

Pet Palace is nice and very cute but it's also very sad to me to see all the dogs locked up in cages. It's nice to pet the beautiful pets.

Got my baby from there, alittle pricey but the service is always nice. The girls in there are sweet and really know alot about the animals they have. My new puppy is the most well behaved, such a sweet rottweiler.

I purchased my English Bulldog Lola six years ago. I can't say enough GOOD things about how happy I am with Lola. Initially, Pet Palace was very helpful with questions, general health concerns, grooming etc. I've had minimal to no health conditions, which is super rare for an english bulldog! I get stopped all the time about how good looking she is, she is always getting compliments. I am super happy with the service here. I'm totally in love with my Lola.

I bought a puppy from Pet Palace we found out the( owner of pet palace) purchased my pup from a Amish Farm in Lancaster pa.( aka puppy mill) and I bought the puppy who had health problems from day one. WE paid 2,700 for our puppy who was originally purchased by pet palace for 500.00 dollars.I traced my puppy originally back to where he was Sold and was told he frequent s the Lancaster area buying puppies to turn a high profit ! The owner owns three stores Pet Palace Diksoncity PA. TROPIC PET in Wilkesbarre pa and puppies and more in Kingston Pa He moves puppies around from store to store !,Be warned find a reputable breeder and stay away from this dishonest gypsy

I adopted my kitten from this store. I have to say he is by far the best cat I own. He's the most loving and faithful of all 4 of my cats. I also adopted a ferret 3 years ago. She's so sweet and mellow and in excellent health still.

Got our beautiful baby Angel aka Candy here and I think no matter where you get your animal you are rescuing them. Every dog and cat you see needs a loving home. I know people say puppy mill but my vet ( who I trust immensely) has looked Angel over head to toe and theres not a thing wrong with her!! The employees knew everything about the dogs when we were there. They were nice and helpful with all our questions. This was the first dog I ever purchased from a shop and I am completely happy with my experience.

I. In went in there a year or so ago and they told me the price for a German Shepard they had was 700. Now they are saying they are discounting priced to get pups in homes before shut down but more than doubled the prices. Same breed now 1799 discounted price. They are playing on people hearts while scamming them big time. Crooks!!!!

Terrible place!! I saw a pup that looked to be almost 5 months old. He was a cute Bulldog/hound mix. He was priced at 700$ AT 5 MONTHS!!!! I asked to see him wanting to buy him because my heart is to big and the girl refused. It was 7:30pm. She told me straight "No, were closing at 8". Wow... just wow... selling a 5 month old pup for that much considering hes been stuck in a small cage his entire life is disgusting. Then refusing to take him out to give him a possible home. I feel bad for every dog that ends up at this horrible place!!!

I would just like to start off by saying, this place is no where near a puppy mill. My boyfriend and I have both purchased two dogs from this very store and both animals were very loyal, friendly and loving dogs. Of course when you go into a store like this to get an animal you're going to have some dogs and/or other animals that may bite or may not react to you the nicest way...BECAUSE THEY ARE A BABY. It takes love an attention to make them good animals. Also the prices are not that unreasonable, you are getting a purebred dog with papers and also up to 4 generations of their pedigree is available to purchase if you are that concerned with where your dog is coming from. All the girls in there were very helpful with us when we were picking out a puppy. We picked out a 3 month old Norwegian Elkhound about 2 months ago, they brought the puppy into the play area (which they made sure was clean before putting him in there after other dogs may have soiled), they weren't breathing down your backs, of course trying to help other customers, but they did check in on us every so often. we sat there for about an hour debating on whether or not we should get another dog at this time in our lives. when we asked if there was a way that we could think about it for a little while before making a definite decision, they told us that they could hold the puppy for 24 hours but after that they'd have to let him be available for adoption again. this was on a Wednesday and we were not off again until a Friday and we told them and they extended to holding hours. They also offer financing now for the animals so if you can't pay the total up front you either make 3 payments and pay the same price with an extra 9 months of vet coverage or take the year to pay them off with interest. This is a GREAT thing, especially for young people/couples that haven't had the best credit but can afford to pay for the dog because not only can you do small payments that are easier for you to afford but it also helps out with building your credit. we still go into the store to get our animal food and bring our dog with us to see the girls and for them to see our dog and how he's grown. Those girls in there care for these animals as much as they can with out getting too attached which is good otherwise they'd probably try to bring them all home..lol and they couldn't have treated our dog as terribly as some of these reviewers think because my dog gets so excited to see them every time. All in all I think this is a great place to get a puppy or other animals from because of the girls that help run it, the quality of an animal you will get (depending on how well of an owner and trainer you are), and the help that offer with financing. I have been here several times and I will continue to return to this pet store and continue to recommend people to get their puppies from here.

I liked nothing about the store . I agree with the persons who said that it was like a puppy mill. I was there on Saturday November 21st & was bitten by the doberman & the "salesperson" said that he was only playing. I understand that they're puppies & aren't trained but she just turned her back like it was nothing. I came home, cleaned the bite & had to put a bandage on it, not a band aid . Today the 23rd my finger is swollen & infected. I hope they don't let kids near the dogs that bite. I will be speaking with the manager on Monday if it's not any better. Please get more help & watch the dogs better. I was going to purchase a dog that day but after that incident & the answer from the worker I will look elsewhere where the prices are reasonable not show dog prices.

I used to LOVE going here and playing with the dogs, love their selection of toys and treats, but that was until today. The one female working, don't know her name but she was tall, strawberry blonde hair, tons of pimples, she was the most disrespectful worker that I've ever met there, and my family and I have been going there for years. I'm just going to put it out there, that I AM an adult, with a sister that's 8 years older than me. I asked if it was okay that I went into the play pen with the dog that was already in there, she said "no are you with your mother" which is very disrespectful to me especially when said so aggressively. I replied "I'm actually an adult but alright." And I walked away into the pen. Then she rudely raises her voice and gives me this disgusting tone and says "I'm sorry." Which I didn't even take note to because it was so rude. Then she asks my sister who's only 8 years older, if she was my mother. I don't know, I could go on and on about this terrible experience but I give up and I don't recommend this place to anyone.

I never been here... I was looking for places to go. I have a big platform where if I feel something wrong I get done. if this is a puppy mill i have so many people there letters and ill shut this place down with the quickness. if you bathing or feeding or giving them (FRESH) water and attention we have no problems but if i see different we have a problem 🙃

These poor doors get let out only 1 hour a day! How do you expect a dog to behave well when they have no room to even move! So sad to walk in this puppy store. It’s a catch 22. you want to save one and help but not support it but leaving them in there ... that’s depressing. Idk how this is legal.

My first impression walking into this store was complete disgust. I was instantly hit with the stench of unclean cages, which upon viewing only helped to verify the smell. First, i saw the the guinea pigs and rabbits were all in dirty cages with dirty water. The water in which they were drinking was coming from a small bowl.. i have never in my life ever seen any kind of rodent drink from anything other than a dispenser, this being because that's the only thing they are supposed to drink out of! Next off I come across the kittens. There's these two adorable Siamese kittens that instantly caught my attention. I could see the one was trying to get to something behind the cage on the wall, thinking it was a bug or something i bent down to look and saw it trying to stick its paws through the bars and into the power outlet located directly within reach! Next I move on to the puppies... First thought when I see them? Puppy mill dogs. No doubt in my mind. Each dog is way overpriced, underweight, dehydrated, unclean, and sad. Each dog is in a super tiny cage, the bottom is thin bars so when they use the bathroom the urine falls through unto some news paper underneath. The bars aren't nearly wide enough to allow fecal matter through which explains why some had it stuck in their coats. Feeling so sorry for these poor animals, my boyfriend and I decided to take out a tiny husky puppy. It took about 10 minutes to finally get the lady to answer us or even give us the time of day. She takes out the puppy and places him in a little area for us to go into to play with him. Upon first seeing him We noticed he seemed way underweight(we soon found out he was about 3 months old), his ribs were showing through his coat which was matted in areas and had fecal matter in it. Not only that but he wouldn't acknowledge any kind of human attention. He didn't want to be pet and would only run from us, he seemed very skittish and got aggressive when we tried to take his toys to play with him. He nipped at my boyfriends face and even ended up biting my hand. He obviously wasn't brought up around any kind of good attention from people. What really gets me is that the workers pay absolutely no attention to whomever is with the dogs and obviously don't care about their behavior with people either. I was completely disgusted with this place and would love love LOVE to see it get shut down. Disgusting.

I have a 10 month old German Shepherd that was purchased there. He has a debilitating joint problem known as Elbow Dysplasia which will most likely cost me $3000 to fix. He would not have this problem if he was bought from a reputable breeder as they screen the parents for hip and elbow problems with x-rays that are evaluated independently. If you insist on buying a puppy instead of saving an adult dogs life, please go to an actual breeder-- places like this that support puppy mills sell you dogs with avoidable problems and puppy mills take deplorable care of their breeding dogs. Do not buy a puppy from here!

The rabbits were poorly taken care of!! It was in a maximum 1x3 foot cage, there was no water and if there was it was way too dirty for me to even tell that that it was water, their bedding was not the right bedding, wood chip bedding is bed for their health, there was no hay only food pellets and if you know anything about rabbits you know that their main diet is hay. There was NO HAY!!! absolutely horrendous.
