Hey Everyone! 👋Not too long ago, we got our puppy at Friends with Paws! 🐕‍ 🐾 We love him very much!He's doing well ...All is so far, so good!The cheerfulness, knowledge and kindness was more than enoughto ask of Clara!! I went to Griffith pond animal shelter to try to help give justice to 2 beautiful husky that were believed to be dropped(abandoned).This might be affiliated with this Rescue.The girls I spoke with were wonderful and they were already on top of the ordeal.Very informative and their hearts are there for the Animals.Were still working with Animal Control to see if we could get justice for these beautiful dogs.No Animal should be treated in this manner and if anyone's gonna get to the bottom of it. It's gonna be these girls.Special Thanks to all of them.✌🏻❤️

Me and my mother were so excited when we saw a dog on their Facebook page up for adoption. We reached out and also put an application in. At that time the dog did not have a name but later on about three days later we saw they named the dog, so we then reached out again through an email on their Facebook to make sure the application went with the right dog . We then received a snotty email from someone named Liz. This is not the first review I saw about this Liz and I was very shocked when I first looked up friends of paws but now I understand from this experience, why there was already two bad reviews about Liz. It made us not wanna adopt from Friends with paws and we ended up withdrawing our application because of that. I do get that they are all volunteers, but there was no need to be snotty. Very unprofessional do not recommend.

I sent a message and asked about a cat the shelter has.I am not filling out an application unless the animal we are interested in is still available for adoption.Too much personal information on line these days and posting it should be limited. This is how people get scammed.Communication appears to be an issue with animal shelters.Why post your phone number, email address, face book info if you do not intend to answer potential pet owners inquiries?

They make it way too hard to just go adopt a dog. I believe it's part of the reason people just go buy a dog - it's much more simple and way less intrusive

Having recently adopted a Shih Tzu from Blue Chip that looked like she had gone through a lot in her short 2 years,They didn’t really have anything solid as far as background and vet checks.They knew she had already had a litter and “ thought she was fixed,has her shots and was microchipped. I was hurried out the door without any paperwork except my receipt for 250.00.Two weeks later at a vet appointment to get “Her Shots”, they told me she was pregnant with 4 pups and due within 5 days!!’This is when Friends with Paws stepped in to help me !!Within a day they took Luna in and will foster her and her pups until they are weaned and Luna is spayed!I’m so Thankful to Diane and Denise for everything! ❤️🙏🙏We can’t wait for Luna to come home and resume our lives together !They are truly angels in disguise !👼

I filled out an application weeks ago so assuming that I must have messed up the first one or it must be incomplete, I filled out another one. Does anyone know how long this process takes? I understand the part abt wanting to “vet” the potential owners, no pun intended, but what abt the poor lil babies in cages for the last few weeks and they could have great homes by now….?

I love their cause and variety of animals, however; it's been over a week now and I still haven't gotten a response on my adoption application I submitted. I'm really excited to have a puppy pick me for ownership and being ignored is very frustrating!!! The ASCP called my landlord and reference's within days and approved my application promptly. I advise anyone to seek their adoptions elsewhere.

Horrible! The person 'Liz' that I seem to have been corresponding with ( I didn't know since the email always said 'Clara Cammerota) was so completely unprofessional with her comments and then the head of the organisation, the 'real' Clara Cammerota,' responded saying she 'agrees with Liz's comments -- the most unprofessional comments I ever received from a so-called 'professional organisation' - just insulting, judgemental and simply wrong - and the head of this organisation approves of that!!!Where is the professionalism here???A real 'professional' and especially the head of such an organisation would have apologized on the behalf of the organisation and put things right - but no - the head of the organisation approved.So I say, stay clear of these amateurs and non-professionals!

Did not want to adopt my cat and feel like it is wrong due to the fact they are not accepting big cats only kittens which I feel is un professional especially when big or little no matter what they deserve to be rescued to
