Don’t ever go to this establishment they are all drug addicts with major attitudes…. The customer service is horrible and they are Racist…. If u don’t fit the description of a low budget crackhead this isn’t the store for you. Be careful and put your safety first it’s a dangerous environment

I came in today… grabbed a pack of $13 batteries and went to grab some candy. Was followed around the store until I paid. Even the cashier came out to get a peak at me. I am a older black man. Not sure if this location is a high theft/shrink location but it was a clear directive. I have shopped at this location before. Was a great reminder that these practices still take place. I’m embarrassed and appalled.

The workers there who actually do work are amazing. They're sweethearts who, on the rare occasion where they make mistakes, fess up to their mistakes and compensate you for it. They have some really great prices, although I do prefer to purchase meat at a grocery store since that is one thing that gets marked up a bit here. Everything is usually well-stocked, the floors are usually clean, and all paths are clear. They have a decent selection of clothes, from kids up to adults, even fitness outfits. They sell shoes, but it isn't really a good selection for anything more than a stroll through the park or the city. There's also a decent makeup collection, although dollar store makeup brands are usually sub-par so buy it at your own discretion. They have plenty of cleaning products, for dishes, floors, and other household means that work really well. They also have some car stuff, but I don't have a car so I have never used those products. They have cat food, litter, and snacks as well as dog food and snack and a small selection of pet toys. They sell dishes, cutlery/utensils, and cookware, and even have disposable dishes and cutlery/utensils. They have a wide variety of food and drink, including bread, eggs, sandwich meat, cheese, soup, ramen, cookies, soda, juice, and tea. Since the renovation and a restructuring of their employees, this store has improved so much!

I shop at the family dollar on Main Avenue in Scranton PA, I would like to say the manager Dez is such an asset to the store she is very friendly always stops what she does to lend the customer a helping hand. That is my favorite family dollar store to shop manager Dez goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied. Hopefully she will be recognized by her Mangers. GREAT JOB DEZ.

The store was spotless and organized. The Isles are wide enough that more than one person could fit in it a with a push cart. There was a great selection of everything I needed and the sum. I spent over $200. That should enough.

The newly remodeled store looks and feels fantastic!!Fortunately the place is close to where I live but more importantly it's a full fledge store with food and underwear and toilet paper and dog food and has just about everything and anything that you need like a Walmart. the prices are fair especially for the convenience. they have name brand stuff and they have Family Dollar brands which are just as good as most. I heard that Dollar Tree bought them out which I believe to be a great thing because Dollar Tree is definitely the store I go to most awe.

The store is absolutely terrible. It's dirty, incredibly dirty, the employees are rude except for one of them, and apparently you cannot pay with anything higher than a 20 because it's not right and ethical to make more money than minimum wage.

The manager not nice and always has an attitude and never greats with a good morning afternoon or night. Never at the cash register and when you need she has an attitude with you like she don’t need the help you and you should not ask for help. Always on the computer and when she sees you at the cash registers she don’t even come like wtf. If you are not careful she over charges you and rings things up 2 or 3 times.

The outside is not the cleanest but supper great deals. People leave the party outside of the store and glass bottles in parking lot. Makes it unattractive and suspect.

Family dollar on Prescott is always closing early the new manager is rude. I really think the corporate office should take over and hire people who actually want to work and not close hours early 7pm and osed when yup 9pm is closing time.

Stores right down the street from my house so it's really convenient and has everything a supermarket would have. Just wished the employees wouldn't smoke right in front of the door.

They keep next to nothing in stock. Doesn't matter if it is households, food, or health related. You have about a 25% chance of them having what you're looking for in stock.
