unprofessional manager here named Brandon created such a hostile and uncomfortable work environment I had to quit. I was only here for 3 weeks as a key holder. Every single day I worked I was told I did a great job, I came in early when asked. And ALWAYS performed 100%. However ONE day I came in sick, because I didn't want to let my team down.You wouldn't believe how fast this so called manager turned on me and yelled at me, personally insulted me, falsely accused me of things I've never done, then cut me from 36 hours to 9 because right then and there according to him I was a terrible employee lmao. He disregarded my entire performance for my first 3 weeks and took these few hours of me not feeling well as my normal way of working. The unintelligence/assumption told me all i needed to know.Not once have I been told that I was a slow terrible worker, but with the way he switched up I would say he shows blatant favoritism or simply a moody man child thinking he can talk to employees any way. I've never been a no call no show NEVER BEEN LATE ONCE, but oh well.It's not what you say. Its HOW YOU SAY IT. You may be blunt (code word for a rude narcissist) but you're still a manager who needs to learn how to talk to employees. If you're looking for employment please don't work here. I'd count every grain of sand on a beach before working for this unhinged individual again.

Went into the store to buy one item. The man there ignored me so i went to the self checkout with the camera on. The other register had a red light on top that it was not working. I tried to scan my item but it would not work. The store employee started to yell at me what is wrong with me that i cant see the register is not on. I said i dont work here and this one had the camera on. He walked away and did not check me out. Then he yelled use the other register. I was so upset i left the item and told him there are a ton of the same store. I WIll never shop in there again. That curley hair, thin, white man in his 30's should find a job that doesn't include working with the public. Totally unacceptable behavior for a grown man. This happened Tues 2/21/23 about 9am.

Fun and friendly staff. The store is a bit confusing on its setup. With items being in random spots. But overall a great experience with the staff. If your good at puzzles finding your way around this store is a great time.

It's a little pricey for a dollar general store it had the same prices or higher than most pharmacies. Not to mention things I get at a regular dollar store for a $1 cost $1.50, $2.25 and it markets lower prices and charges more than says the employees forgot to change them. But they do have a large item selection which is good. They just have to get more organized and together with there pricing especially since it chose to be a dollar general soar to be reasonable prices for products but it's more expensive than your local pharmacy.

You could get good deals here if you have the app. The bad side of Dollar General is that in our area they seem dirty inside. Employees have always been nice to me. I just wish it was a more clean environment.

Great place for great prices. One of my favorites hands down. Only issue is depending on which one u go to some of them aren't that clean & I've had it out with some of the staff here and there.... But it's all still worth it to me I do love their prices and the the items they carry !

This location is very well stocked. I rarely have to refund an item when I am doing a delivery from there! Well maintained store as far as cleanliness and staff is professional!

This place is terrible. Barely anything on the shelves, terrible selection of what IS left, and the associates don’t care if customers are still in the store before abandoning register. I waited for five minutes at the register up front and no one came or even walked by. I set my stuff down on the belt at the register and I walked out without any of the things I had picked up and had been walking around shopping with. I thought the Main Street Bloomsburg DG was the worst DG until today. Absolutely will NOT be returning to this location.DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!

After my experience at this location today I will never return. Upon checking out the cashier was very rude and degrading being that I am in a wheelchair. She was rushing me and repeated many times that she had a line of other customers behind me. The issue was that this cashier had no clue how to key in my access card. Because she continued to be rude to me I told her she now had an entire order to cancel, as I was not happy with the situation and she was not willing to help me in any way.

Everything was great and cheap. Service was a little weird when the checkout guy was hitting on my girlfriend in front of me, but it was worth it to see her call him a creep in front of the line of waiting people. 5 stars for the experience

Prices are ALWAYS wrong. Even if the price tag says differently. Stuff, unbelievably rude. Always 10 people in line and the other worker is either outside smoking or on her phone. I despise going in there. I'd actually spend a few extra dollars getting what I need from rite aid then spend a half hour in Dollar General for a few random things. They also forget to take old sale tickets off the items, and if its pointed out to them, to bad. They dont give you the items for the sale price, even tho it's their mistake. Then comes the dirty looks and whispers. It looks could kill. Smh. Dont shop there unless they get new management, and new staff. If they dont, go next door to rite aid. They're awesome there!!!

This store is a joke! The shelves and coolers are bare. The cashiers won't take "no" for an answer when trying to win contest by selling you a stale candy bar at register. And despite the name of the place... probably only 15% of the few items in the store actually cost a dollar.

Ran in for one thing, diapers and got them at the same price as Walmart for more diapers. I was thrilled. The cashier was fast, efficient and friendly.

Dollar General on Keyser Ave in Scranton is an excellent source for cleaning supplies such as paper products and detergent. A limited number of over-the-counter meds and shampoo are also available at deep discounts.
