Today, I was shopping at the CVS Moosic St, Scranton PA Store. When I walked in the store I was greeted. The store was neat, clean, and organized. I found everything I was looking for and more. When I wasn’t sure about which brand item to choose, the manager Rob explained how CVS brand was comparable and I could save money. I wasn’t expecting Rob to help me understand CVS brand. He also walked me to the product. I appreciate him going above and beyond. He is very professional. Thanks Rob

Never use this pharmacy. Never ready on time and extremely rude, always making excuses as to why things aren’t ready (primarily blaming the doctor). If you need something urgently, absolutely do not rely on this location.

I most have good experience but today the lady I spoke over the line about my prescription was rude and didn't want to help me at all. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else if you want good service!Update: Thanks for the 7 year relationship. I just switched to another pharmacy.

One of the absolute worst pharmacy chains around!!!! There is no communication. Long wait times. Dr sends medicine over to be filled, instead of filling they say it will be ready in 15 minutes 3 hrs later, it's still not ready. When medicine is out of stock or expired they don't have the decency to even call. Wouldn't give one star, but had to.

Witnessed my partner drive to this location 5 times in a 24 hr period because every time you go in, a different pharmacist tells you a different time ranging from 1pm to midnight then when you complain they nonchalantly tell you that it's on you since you didn't get a pharmacists name. They discriminate based on appearance, if you go to get your script after work in casual wear they assume you're a drug addict and withhold your medication from you. You're supposed to be able to refill your script a day or two IN ADVANCE before your script RUNS OUT. They expect people to taper themselves off their medication because they make you wait 30 days instead of the 28 day cycle that's permitted BY LAW. I'm sick of my husband having to suffer with withdrawals ON A MONTHLY BASIS because this stupid place has no regulations as to when a customer can pick up their script, every time you talk to a different employee it's a different story or pick up time, they don't take a phone number even for a customer who's been in 5 times in 24 hrs.. don't use this pharmacy, it's disgusting inside and out. And THERE IS NO MIDNIGHT PICK UP, THEY ARE LYING TO YOUR FACE!!

I’m not sure why the store supervisor hasn’t addressed the issue with the rude employees at the Pharmacy. They are always grouchy and rude. It’s like they have no clue what they’re doing or have zero knowledge of their job. Nine times out of ten, it’s a bad experience there.

Very frustrated when a doctor calls in medication to this pharmacy and fact any of the CVSs their lousy at getting it filled You show up the next day expecting it filled because it was called in the day before and they still don't have it filled and then they want to make you wait an hour for it to be filled.

I am a 68 year old senior citizen. I visited on 9-2-23 at 2pm. A Main pharmacist was rude and disrespectful to me. He is always in attitude. He didn't have a name plate on him other wise I would have mentioned his name. I changed My pharmacy the same day. He always talks aggressively . I gave 1 because I don't know how to give 0.

I liked that I could schedule vaccines for my whole family online, instead of one at a time. We did 2 adults and 2 children for influenza and COVID vaccines. The pharmacist was organized and caring even though it was a busy time. Our youngest is not a fan of shots, but the experience felt safe and was super efficient.

This CVS location was wonderful. I was having trouble with one of my prescriptions and the staff was super friendly and kind and they helped me get everything sorted. This was one of the friendliest CVS stores I've ever visited.

Terrible, I'm changing this location as my pharmacy even though it's the closest to my house the pharmacist it's very very rude after asking him for a medication through the drive through made me come inside the store because he needed me to se my driver's license that he "could not be" through the drive through, once inside ethe store gave me a lot attitude after back speaking to a nother customer at the window that already had left, told me that he was not a sells person after I asked him the strength or different brands of this medication OTC back the counter I needed. So stay away!

I was nervous after reading the reviews about how rude and judgmental the pharmacy staff were here, but I decided to still give it a try. I've used the drive thru about 4 or 5 times now and they have always been extremely kind and helpful. My medication is a controlled substance and the reviews for those in particular worried me. However, I did not feel like they were judging me or had a negative view of me at all, and I am really grateful for that since I do get a bit embarrassed about the medication I take and if someone were to treat me like a drug seeker, I would probably just burst into tears lol. I do not see myself switching pharmacies anytime soon, and I am extremely grateful for the staff's kindness at this location!

Some of the workers in the pharmacy are trash human beings, my son is 7 and is special needs, he has been struggling for a while with various things and ran out of a cream for his skin over the weekend. They were so rude when I called to ask what do I do in this situation. I cant imagine how much ppl must hate there lives to be so rude to a person worried about their child.

Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had. Dropped off my son’s prescription at 1:15pm Christmas Day for my sick 6 year old. Patiently waited while a trainee was messing up the information she had to put into the computer. I get it, I didn’t complain because it was Christmas and she was trying her best. Finally, I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, so I thanked them and said I would walk around the store. I headed back to wait in the chair after 10 minutes or so, only to have them close the curtain screen and say we are on lunch. Seriously??? I can understand telling people that just got there that they would be ready after 2 o’clock, but at least finish up the customers that were already told to wait around for a couple minutes. Horrible experience and very unprofessional.

The parking lot was fairly dirty with trash and a pair of underwear nicely left by my passenger side door. The store had the items I needed but there were very few workers. One refrigerator and one full aisle was empty.

Not a bad location, but not the best.This place hasn’t had a remodel in years and the parking lot feels like you’re off-roading in a 4x4. Never had a problem with the staff and items were always ready on time.Some of these 1 star reviewers seem pretty entitled for someone in need of help.

I never leave reviews, but this deserves one. I waited in line for 20 minutes, get to the register, the lady that attempted to “help” me was extremely rude and did not know what she was doing. When I picked up my prescription, they would not accept the coupon that I was told I could use and ended up paying 70 dollars for something that should of cost 20. I couldn’t just leave it there, however, because I needed the medication. To add, my medication comes with needles and not only did they not come with it, but they failed to let me know this before driving another half an hour back home. When I came back, they told me they did not have them in stock. The only reason I have two instead of one is because the person that helped me when I called and came back was extremely helpful and polite.

Pharmacy pick up...... Sometimes 25 minutes sitting in your car. They need to make people come back, instead of allowing them to drop off scripts and sit at the window and wait, or make them come inside when there's an issue. No one should have to sit in a line wrapping around the lot because of one obnoxious customer. The other issue pertains to scheduled medication refills, which seems to always be a problem as of late. Dates are constantly changing, things are put on hold, etc., When you ask about it, you're treated like a drug seeker. Over medications that are not for pain, or anxiety, or anything that could be misused.

The store itself is fine, and the pharmacy is convenient. I just have to say though, that the pharmacists and techs are not the best. I’m not sure if it’s bc they are burnt out or paranoid or what, but I would avoid this pharmacy if you are on ANY sort of scheduled medication. They have made me feel like a criminal on more than one occasion. I brushed it off bc I realize that they are an 24/7 pharmacy and have probably seen A LOT. And sometimes, for convenience sake, I have had to use their services. But if you are a person with a chronic condition that requires you to regularly take scheduled medication, I certainly suggest you find a different pharmacy where you’ll be treated with more dignity.

Dr called my medication in this afternoon (Friday). Rec'd message from CVS "on hold". I take this 4xs per day. I called CVS. What's the problem? Answer: We DON'T HAVE ANY and since we place our med orders on Fridays, and get NO DELIVERIES on weekends, you have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday for your prescription! And I can't get it from another CVS store because they can't transfer a narcotic med even though they are out of it and won't have it for 4-5days. What pharmacy works like that? Its a pharmacy with an awful policy.

After 10 years I have to change my pharmacy because the last three months in a row I have had to go days without my medication. Before this they would at least give me a couple day supply if they were low, but now they are just completely out of my medicine for days. It's insane for this to happen more than once. People need their medication! This is a dangerous game this pharmacy plays. Not only are they out of stock, but they can't even tell you when they will be getting it in for sure. This has caused me serious issues and I can not risk this ever happening again. Unbelievable!

Called this CVS at 8:30ish tonight to get my prescription transferred from Hamlin to here because I wasn't going to get to Hamlin on time. I was told that the Hamlin CVS had my prescription on hold because the doctor hadn't answered them even though I've been getting texts for the last week or so saying it's filled and waiting for me. The lady I talked to said that there was no point in her calling the Hamlin CVS because she wouldn't be able to fill it for me either since it was on hold. Considering I used to work at a pharmacy I know you're lying and just don't want to call the Hamlin CVS to help me. I'm completely out of this medication but thankfully it's not going to kill me to not take it. I bet others can't say the same when you do this to them and they don't know better.

I had gone to the store, roughly around 930 at night, and asked the pharmacist if they carried 31g 6mm insulin syringes. He replied “No I don’t sell them”. To which I replied, “How about 8mm?” He said “No, I don’t sell them”. To which I replied “But I’ve purchased them here.” He then took an aggressive demeanor, and continued to say “I’m the pharmacist on tonight, and “I” do not sell them!” and walked away in a very irritated manor. If you can buy a product at a store on any given day, and others days you can’t, seems like a pretty decent reason to shop elsewhere.

I received putrid smelling medication. When asked about it, the pharmacists were clearly, overtly, and consciously mocking me.The pills ended up being rotten per two other pharmacies and my physician.This is a dangerous pharmacy.
