I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We had the last appointment of the day & not a single person made us feel rushed. Dr. Chez was exceptional. He treated us & our bunny with nothing but kindness. He addressed all of our concerns and then some. We left feeling very comfortable & pleased with the entire visit. We will 100% be taking all of our animals here from now on for sure.

First visit, first time meeting Dr. Chez. I couldn't have been more pleased. Friendly greeting from the front desk as I entered, quickly got me signed in, and rather prompt visit from the doctor. He explained everything thoroughly. I already have made my next appointment for another pet to have their first checkup.

I absolutely love the staff and vets here. They have always been kind and personable. I have never once had a bad experience or second guessed my pets safety with their facility or staff.Based on experience with truly medically compromised dogs and experiencing emergency facilities and treatments I would honestly rate the care I’ve received as excessively better than care I have received at even the highest rated emergency facilities.

Dr and techs at this vet showed a lot of compassion and support to my elderly friend when her cat died. Even with cat passing my friend still talks about how impressed she was when doctor called her answered all her questions and take her time in laying the cat to rest. I was very impressed they even credited toward her bill for recent purchase of food for cat she no longer needed . I was very impressed.

We were sad when Dr. Markle retired because we thought so highly of him. (Thank you Dr. Markle for years of great care!) It took us a few visits to get to know Dr. Chez and his staff. We have found them to be kind, caring and thorough in our pets care (2 dogs). Our elderly dog needed an operation that was done at another hospital and Dr. Chez regularly had the staff call to see how she was recovering. We have seen the compassion he has for his patients. He has been honest and upfront about the cost and benefits of procedures to help us make an informed decision. Grazie Dr. Chez and Staff!

NEVER GO TO THIS VET! After having multiple awful experiences with Scottdale I made the choice to move my pets to Latrobe Animal Clinic (THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!). Before leaving Scottdale Vet Clinic I spoke with them to check in if our preferred doctor was still with the clinic and when told no and that we would be with the other vet who made both myself and my pets uncomfortable I chose to no longer attend this clinic. About a month after separating from the clinic I was told by my new vet that there was a no show fee for an appointment that I had never scheduled. When I spoke to Scottdale to sort things out they were defensive, adamant in not wanting to resolve the issue, and was over the top rude. They had said if they removed the fee we would not be permitted at Scottdale again even though the mistake was on their end. We are absolutely not disappointed as this clinic is unprofessional, unkind, and horrible to visit in general. AVETS and Scottdale Vet Clinic the two WORST clinics in the area. Save your money and go to a compassionate clinic that cares about your pets.

The actual vet is afraid of dog. My dogs are the friendliness dogs and he came in showing fear instantly. Talk about making my dogs feel uncomfortable. I'll never return.

Our first time to this place and we love it the Dr was great he was one other that took his time and told us what he thought was wrong took some tests and came back to tell us easy fix not a bad price and even got her some great flea and tick stuff that was just as great as front line she seems so comfortable with them and didnt him touching her

I made an appointment two weeks ago but when we got there they had no record of it. So I think they charged me extra for their mistake. But what can you do? I Recommend calling and confirming the day before so they don't screw you too. Other than they they take good care of the animals. They are maybe just a bit disorganized at the front desk?

I had a lot of confidence in them until they misdiagnosed my 8 year old Yorkie. I was concerned about his weight gain and they did blood work and wanted to monitor him. No thing was being done for him. I had to put him to rest because he was in CHF and end stage heart disease. Now threatening me for non payment of a bill I never recieved.

Finding a good vet for birds can be challenging, but this place was amazing and I’m so so glad we came here for our conure! They were so kind, caring, knowledgeable, all of the good things… We came in worried about our bird’s health but they made the experience very lighthearted which put us in higher spirits. We absolutely LOVE scottdale! They are always so amazing to us and our Shepard. She is a very anxious dog and Dr. Chez made sure to do everything to make her comfortable and her last visit went so smoothly! We plan on getting more dogs in our future and we will always bring our animals here.We travel about 35-40 minutes away from home because we feel so comfortable here

These folks are AWESOME! Got a same day appointment for my furry friend and she's on the road to recovery! Dr. Michelle was thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. And Morgan, our tech today, was very patient with my rambunctious lil critter and even trimmed her nails! I can't say enough good things about this clinic but I can assure you that I have found our new veterinarian! 👍👍👍

I had to put my boxer of 12 years down the past Friday. My normal vet that I have been dealing with could not get me in for 4 days so I was referred by a friend to them and they got me in next day as I wanted 1 more day with him. They were all so nice and treated Rex as one of there normal patients and made him comfy on his last few hour with us. They were so kind and gave us options on what we could do with Rex after passing. My family and I thank Dr. Michelle and staff for the quick apt and awesome care. Thank you so much to her helper who gave us plenty of time and consoled us as if we were friends. You are all greatly appreciated and may god bless you all for the he great care you do. And thank you for taking the time and sending a sympathy card. RIP Rex

We visited under very unfortunate circumstances. We were forced with the decision to put our senior dog down suddenly. They were kind to squeeze us in, in the evening even though our animals were not patients there (our vet didn't have any open appointments). After examining his condition, they assured us we were making the right decision. They gently guided us through the process and allowed us to do it outside in the car, as our dog could not walk and we wanted him to be more comfortable outside with us, than on a cold table. Each vet tech was loving to him, which comforted us knowing that they genuinely cared and were sad for him as well. They made a terrible situation a little bit easier by handling it with kindness and grace. I called many vets in the area that afternoon and many were cold and callous and unwilling to help. The ones that would "squeeze us in" wanted an outrageous "emergency fee" on top of high prices to preform the service. I appreciated their willingness to help our sweet boy when he needed it most and for not price gouging us just because they could.

Entire staff was friendly and helpful during our visit for puppy vaccinations. Answered any questions we had and educated us on what to look for, or expect, in the next few weeks. Very comfortable taking our pets there.

Went to them today for my newly adopted cat's appointment, and was very impressed. The vet techs and Dr Chez took the time to explain what was going on with my cat's ears for me, where the last one I went to charged me outrageous for basically nothing, and double the cost for an OTC medication.Wish I could remember the vet techs name but she was awesome. Very bubbly, and could tell she cared a lot for my boy.I'll definitely be back with my other fur kids! Very reasonably priced too!

We had to put my 18 year old cat down today with Dr. Chez. The techs and him were very, very compassionate. They made sure we were ready to do so, even though you can never be ready. They did the whole process at our pace and never rushed us. Even after our cat had passed, they gave us extra time in the room. I took one of our chickens here yesterday, walked right in and the staff was incredible. Very gentle and compassionate with animals and treats them like human! Also very affordable and they let you know how much anything will cost before doing. Definitely will keep them in mind next time I need a vet.
