My kids liked the park, they had a good time. They had shows, dance parties. The prices are not so bad but I am not saying they are cheap. If I go there again, I am not having a lunch or dinner in there. I advise to bring it with you or to go out or order a pizza pie. This way you save some money. Go there early morning if you want to enjoy more.Safety: It felt safe!

The water park was so much fun for the whole family! There is something for everyone. The temperature is perfect for water activities inside, even if it's freezing or raining or both outside. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room we had was so nice and comfortable and roomy. The shower faucet thing could use some help, but overall it was a wonderful stay!!I highly recommend this place! Even the teenagers will have fun.

Great water park. Arcade used to be bigger but I feel like they added more food places around there. Bed was extremely comfortable compared to other hotels (Hilton / Holiday Inn etc.) on our trip up from Florida. My kids had a great time. Will be back.Rooms: Bed was extremely comfortable.Nearby activities: Nature trails, Ski Resorts, shopping at the premium outlets down the road, go to Barley Creek for a drink and some grub.Safety: Doors and side doors can’t be opened without your wristband. No random people walking in and out. Safe.Food & drinks: Dippin’ Dots stand wasn’t opened in waterpark, had to go to pizza place for the ice cream. Snacks were a bit expensive but that’s to be expected at a resort.

First of all I think great wolf is a great place for the kiddos. My kids like the activities and the pool, even though the pools always packed . This is my fifth trip to great wolf to celebrate my kids birthdays. My last stay I was not satisfied. I book 3 rooms for 2 nights for my family and I to celebrate my daughter s birthday. I didn’t know about $15 self parking fee. We were there in February, and there was no parking fee. They told me it’s a new thing. Check in I told them we had only two cars. We had 2 cars, still I got charge parking fee per room and per night. I told my kids this is the last time we’re going to come to this place. Time to try new places. Just crazy they charge for parking fee.

The water park is clean and well maintained I had a lot of fun and my cousins kid who is 2 1/2 years old he had a ton of fun on the rides. The food and drinks are great but when we went to the creamery later that day it was a little messy but that doesn’t really bother me the ice cream and shakes were great! And I don’t like ice cream. The rooms are well kept and super cute I love the fireplace and the loft our room can fit 8 people if needed and the loft has a half bath as well which is great when your sharing a room with a lot of people. Definitely recommend this place it was a ton of fun for the family.Nearby activities: We went to local brewery’s and winery’s they have great drinks and views you can bring your kid but there aren’t really any kiddy activities for them to do there but they can hang out.

Guys, this is being written by my son who is 6 1/2 years old :)I think the water slides are pretty cool. I try the yellow and green slide and green slide was my favorite. The obstacle course was pretty tricky but I managed to get to the end. The wave pool was similar to a beach but it’s a pool…the wave pool was super fun. I tried to jump over the waves and managed to get some of the waves. The food was also pretty good. The lazy river was also pretty fun…I also pretend to be a car in the lazy river. The room is bright and clean and I like it. In the slides we slide many different ways and my favorite was head first on your belly and we even played a made up game called hot wheels. This is the best place. Everyone should come here!Thank you for reading this long sentences.

Absolutely loved our weekend at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos!! It was confusing at first because we did not realize that we needed to download the app to get access to ordering food online and finding a map of the property. The facilities were really cool!!! Absolutely nothing like this place that I've ever been to before. Really surprised how good the food was - we were thinking we were going to have to go off site and we did not leave the property even once. We did self-service check in so it took about 10 minutes and it was absolutely quick and easy. We utilized the online ordering for picking up food which was super easy. The staff at the waterpark was excellent. The parking situation was a little difficult but it wasn't that bad. The activities they have on site that you can do for no cost are great, definitely check out the dance parties and the story time. We spend hours at the arcade, really fun. We are so excited and cannot wait to return our family had such a good time together hanging out in the room, eating at one of the restaurants and spending time in the waterpark.Definitely a sleeper !! Think you will love it.Rooms: Rooms are somewhat beat up but what you would expect for kids using them. The bunk beds in a separate area were awesome. Parents bed was very comfy. Small fridge. Nothing special but enough room for four to hang out. Would be really cramped w 6 people.Safety: We felt very safe all throughout the propertyFood & drinks: Really good food .. better than expected

My overall experience was OK. For the price we paid to stay at Great Wolf, I didn’t like that there was no microwave in the rooms. For the price paid, I think they could’ve offered at least a small breakfast, for example, bagels or toast to be included. Of course I was aware there was no food included before booking but still it would’ve been nice especially for the kiddos. Be sure to arrive at the water park at a decent time so you can find a chair/ table. We went during school vacation week so the place was extremely crowded. It took us a while to find a seat. We had to walk a long way to the water park and main lobby for activities. I definitely liked the location. There were lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. Our room was clean. Staff was friendly. Would I go back to great wolf? Yes but definitely not during schoolVacation week.

Every time we come back, it becomes worse. We were here 2 weeks ago for my daughter's birthday. They opened new counters for checking in, but just 2 of them were working, and we needed to wait almost an hour to check in. We received an email with the possibility to get a Wolf's den room for the kids. At the counter, they told us there were no rooms, and we would get just the family room. The personal is unfriendly. No management is present. If you ask for the management, they are telling you no one is there. The complimentary gifts you should get we haven't received, and the kids were sad since they wanted to have the ears. This time, we arrived at 3 pm. to make sure we would be able to move in at 4 like it says.Same as the last time, we weren't able to get the Wolf's Dan like in the email promised. We waited again and received our keys at 4.05 pm, when we went to the room it was dirty and they just started to clean it, we went back down and they told us that there are no other rooms until we started to complain and were asking for the management. Management was not present was told but 2 new rooms were found right away. We received new keys and were able to move in at 4.30. It becomes more expensive every time. They are charging you for parking. The personnel at the pool and the restaurants are not really friendly, sometimes even nasty and aggressive.Internet is extremely bad. If you are planning to work during your stay, it will be almost impossible. I am a QA engineer and working online. It was once a really great place to go to. It changed extremely. Stress guaranteed at the time of nowadays.

Not a fan of the completely cashless facility. Most places did not have a person you could speak with when kiosks did not have the combo and amenity your looking for. Workers just point to kiosks as if not their job. The other issue is that most of the alcoholic drinks here are as watered down as you can get which is fine, but they are charging a premium for them. and I am not a drinker. On top of that scanning your wrist band did not work at certain places, which means I had to get my credit card, and that point I am carrying wallet, and why not accept cash? So, I purchased a $350 ride package with some cups and wand. Well two free wands they say, But the battery packs, aka "toppers" are extra. I don't want to sound petty, but these things add up for a venue which isn't a bargain to begin with. The facility is nice, and clean, and well maintained, but I myself won't be coming back

My family and I visited during spring break. It was our first time so we stayed for 4 nights. The kids immediately loved the wolf themed bunk beds. We also signed them up for the wolf pass which included a build a bear, game of bowling, mini golf, cup of candy, personalized leather bracelet, mirror maze entry, ice cream scoop, $5 arcade card and last but not least a magic magi game. My son was obsessed with this game I will worn you it is very time consuming but I didn’t mind it at all. I got so into it and it was great to keep them off the screens. I recommend breaking into sections because can be a lot for one day - my son was so determined to finish and he did ! Hotel also had daily activities which were cool and obviously the water park was super great! We can’t wait to return my son already said he wants to come every year and beat his magic magi record 😂❤️

Kids had a wonderful time from start to finish. Wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Michaela, the team member stationed at the very top of the water park (the yellow and blue slides - I think it was called Wolf Tail?). She was up there running both slides the two days we were at the water park, and was easily the kindest, most friendly person we met during our stay! By the end of her shift she had remembered all of our names and was just so sweet. She deserves all the shout outs - and probably even a raise! Thank you for being a bright spot on our trip, Michaela!

A fun family get away for those with young kids (4.5 and 1.5 year old)! Service was lacking a bit regarding assistance (to and from the room or even just accessing the lost and found).Food: We experienced lost and incorrect orders at all the on-site food places except for the reservation-only restaurant. Don't waste your money at the on-site Dunkin the quality, ordering process, and service are all poor. (If you have early risers and you're looking for a relaxed and delicious breakfast there are multiple great options off-site within 5 minutes.)The rooms were fun and comfy (we stayed in a bunk bed room for 2 nights then extended and stayed in a family suite with fireplace for one night). Housekeeping all-around was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. We'll come back but will wait for a deal/ promotion. We were here two years ago and I don't picture us coming back within another year.Nearby activities: Pocono Rocks indoor climbing and trampolineHouse of Candles (kids can make their own candle, 4 floors to browse, and you can watch a master candle maker do his thing)

I am leaving this review after trying to reach your manager to address my issues I had. Almost a week later nobody has called me or reached out to me after reaching out to them three times. The room they gave me was the two bedroom one bath. The air conditioner didn’t work in one of the rooms you cannot open the window. The lotion dispenser was hanging by a thread on the wall. The bathtub did not fill up for my kid. There was barely any water pressure.Upon the waterpark, we were swimming and a yummy toothbrush came up next to me. There is a gazillion hair ties laying around. There is algae growth near the drains so be careful as I slipped. But again, you would think with all these issues and we would reach out once did they reach outCustomer satisfaction is no where in there books

Great service, clean and comfortable rooms. Microwaves in the rooms will be helpful, especially with families. My biggest complaint is how very hot the arcade, bowling, and mining areas were. I mean really hot!Walkability: Most have a car to get here.

I have to say I am greatly disappointed at the quality of service we have been provided. Starting with check in and the lack of information given about the hotel/activities, the dietary requirements for my family that were barely met although I was promised that they would be various options before booking but there were not.My children were afraid to go to sleep due to the noise level coming from the upstairs room. The bath tub in our room was dangerously slippery when showering the one bottle of lotion in our room was empty which made me question if they did a thorough cleaning or not. The bunk beds are made for children over the age of 6! When making the reservation for this room I specifically asked if my children under 6 would be safe sleeping in the bunk beds they said yes. But upon arrival we found a warning sign posted on the beds saying "not for children under 6!" We had to have them sleep on the pull out sofa bed. They were terribly disappointed. Our visit here has been completely unsatisfactory to say the least and we will not be returning.

Went here last October after finding a really good deal online. My fiance and I each booked rooms to go with my sister, her husband, my other sister, and seven children. We had a lovely time. Rooms had a bunch bed and a twin bed with a tv, main part of room had a queen bed and a pull out couch. Also had a fireplace. The kids enjoyed activities most of the day from arts and crafts, to dance parties, exercise, story time and of course the all time favorite indoor waterpark. One of the girls spent the majority of the time in the wave pool, another in the hot tub. When we went to book extra nights, the rooms had already been booked, they gave us slightly smaller rooms and made up for it by treating our large family to a buffet breakfast. The kids even went trick or treating once a day for 4 days.

Absolutely worth every penny! If you go, it's worth spending the extra money to get a package to do activities such as the gem mining, mini golf, and bowling. We want to go back in warmer weather to do an outside obstacle course. They also have activities in the lounge for the kids. The dance party was fun for both kids and adults.Only downside, only 2 elevators to use for people in main area hotel, using magic quest, going swimming, or getting food. It takes a while and is usually always busy.Rooms: Room service is on top of it. Rooms were clean.

We came up to spend the day yesterday with our 8 month old daughter. We left 2 hours in because of how overwhelming and packed the whole building was. It felt like fighting a stampede of angry geese into the elevator or just trying to get anywhere really. Not only were the people there extremely unfriendly and obnoxious like cutting in line or pushing and shoving but the employees were no better, it was our first time so obviously I don’t know the building like the back of my hand but whenever I asked a simple question it seemed like I was a total bother and they couldn’t care any less. This place seriously needs an occupancy limit because I felt like I was in NYC rush hour on a day that was supposed to be fun and relaxing. This is why we go to Kalahari!

It makes me so sad to have to write a negative review (it's absolutely not something I do regularly). But strap in because the cons severely outweighed the pro's on our trip.Let's start positive - Pros:1. Fireside Restaurant - DELICIOUS. The staff was amazing when we went for breakfast (2x) and Dinner (1x). The food was SPECTACULAR and the only reason I gave this review a 2 instead of a 1 star, frankly.. The bolognese was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my entire life. My son said the same about the kids Mac and cheese. Our dinner waitress was so so attentative, fun, and quick.2. Cabana - TOTALLY suggest splurging for a canana if you're going with more than a single child. It is CHAOS finding a spot to sit otherwise plus you get towels, 4x waters, a ceiling fan, TV, couches, table to enjoy a meal at and your own waiter (shout out to ours named Alex, he was super attentive without being overbearing). Now for the cons:1. Our room.A. We were traveling with 3 kids + 2 adults. We got one of the bunk rooms which fit our party of 5 fine. The bunks were literally so hard, we ended up moving 2 of the 3 kids onto the (also uncomfy, but expected) pull out sofa and our teen just toughed it out.B. Electrical outlets in the rooms. They were ALL lose (to the point of cell chargers falling out while being plugged in when we were sleeping). One sparked when my son plugged his cell charger in. Our mini fridge had to be pulled out and plugged into a separate outlet to even work for our stay (we purchased a birthday package for our son which included a birthday cake for $60 that we ended up tossing because it sat in a warm fridge all night).C. The TV in the kids room didn't work. We called maintenance, who came promptly and had to reset everything to make it work.D. Electric in the ENTIRE BUILDING (including Waterpark) went off, on, off, on about 3-4 times as we were leaving the park and subsequently our room A/C stopped working because of the outage. We were able to reset it thankfully, but seems like a massive fire Hazzard for an entire buildings power to flicker (and overheard workers explaining to other guests it happens all the time, no big deal).E. The walls were super soundproof in the room, but the people walking above us sounded like a heard of elephants. They weren't running, jumping, etc. Simply walking was soooo loud. Woke our sleeping child 3x during the night.F. Cable service is Dish Network and when I say it's slow that's a severe understatement.2. One critique about Fireside - both at dinner when we went and the 2nd day we ate breakfast there, they tried shoving our family of 5 at a 4 person table (when there were plenty of open 6-top tables open). For dinner we did ask our waitress if she could move us, which she did and during our 2nd days breakfast, I simply pulled my own chair over and sat on the end of the 4 top because we were pressed for time. Just for reference we were traveling with a 180lb teen, 140 lb 11 year old, 6 year old and 2 grown adults.3. The lifeguard to kid ratio seems really low. They are all VERY attentive, but why they wouldn't have 2x in the all areas seemed odd. Then we say one child get kicked so hard in the face by another kid (accidentally of course) that he started bleeding all over the pool. His mother thankfully yanked him out quickly, but I'd think protocol of blood in any section would require immediate shut down? Apparently not. We ended up leaving at that point. Can't fault them for the accident but not shutting down the pool it happened it seemed unsanitary at minimum.Between parking ($15/day self park), 2 nights room charges, 1 day cabana rental, Fireside package for 5 people for 2 days our total was over $3000. We could have quite literally spent less at Disney World and had a magical experience from start to finish.Rooms: The rooms are super dated, which wasn't a deal breaker for us since we weren't in ours frequently (who is on vacation, really?). However, they were dirty, the electrical outlets didn't work in more than half our room and the ones that did sparked when we tried plugging cell phone chargers into.Nearby activities: Looking for AMAZING seafood? We highly recommend the less than 5 minute drive to Smuggler's Cove.We also hit the outlet mall when we were there which was super close and had tons of stores.Food & drinks: Fireside restaurant was TO DIE FOR! Seriously, some of the best food we've ever had. It's the only reason we didn't give a 1 star review. The waitstaff was amazing, quick so kind. The girls who pick where to seat families should maybe be warned not to try shoving a family of 5 (ages 6, 11 and 14 + 2 adults) at a table for 4. This happened 2 of the 3 times we ate here which was super annoying having to move both times.Noteworthy details: The cost over all is astronomical. For sure not worth the over $3000 we spent for a 2 day stay. $300 per day per person it's more than we spent going to literal DISNEY WORLD.

So we went for the weekend a family of eight, two parents and 6 kids(2 infants) and we realized a lot, we stayed at the grizzle bear suit and number 1 parking is horrible feels like your in the city trying to find parking unless you wanna park faraway and walk to the building, people are just sitting behind you waiting to see if you are leaving. Number 2 it literally is only for kids not for adults they did so much for kids than just added two bars for adults to make up for the little bit they have for adults so if you think going there with just your better half is an option nope don’t do it, number 3 if you go to the pool and think you gonna get a chair think again even the people work there will tell you that over the years it has gotten worse so you have to spend and extra 300 dollars to book a private room just to sit down. Number 4 the room definitely looked used because there was screws holding the tub together and broken pieces everywhere in the room from the tub to a dresser to the curtain for the shower didn’t even fit to the maid walked in the room on us for no reason, it’s worth bringing the kids one time but if you don’t live close to this place there’s probably something way cheaper that can do the same thing.

We had a great time! Staff was friendly, food was great, and the activities were endless! We loved the nighttime dance party after dinner! Definitely wore our little out and made for a great might of sleep. 4 stars for room because the tubs have no kind of grip on the bottom. Before I realized it was too late, my daughter fell and busted her lip.Rooms: We stayed in the new rooms. They're a walk from the main lobby but faster if you cut through the parking lot. It was nice because even though we were away from the lobby there was still a small shop with dunkin donuts. The morning we needed it the coffee grinders were down so no coffee but when it's up and running the shop is convenient!Nearby activities: Nearby you have shopping at the outlets and Camelback if you ski or snowboard. There's lots of little mom and pop shops around.Safety: Felt safe in the hotel but be extra careful in the tub. Very slippery!Walkability: You need a vehicle or access to uber or luft if you're in this area. It's a short walk to the main road but 611 stays busy and could be dangerous.Food & drinks: Lots of options for food and drink in the hotel and surrounding areas. Lots of local bars, restaurants, and groceries are easily accessible.Noteworthy details: Great wolf really puts you central to all the surrounding activities. Perfect place to vacation or just get away for a night. Everything you could possibly need is right in the hotel and it's nice when you're just trying to relax and stay in one place.

Pricey!!! Great place for kids but not enough spots for parents to sit. If you arrive late, you will have no chairs to sit. Play area/rides are much smaller compared to other indoor water parks in the area. Paid over $600 for one night basic room 2 adults and 2 children. Resort is near shopping areas, food courts a major plus for families that don’t want to pay resort price for food.

The water park is fun. As an adult I enjoyed most of the rides and I think kids would really enjoy it. Our room was pretty far and we had to do a lot of walking. Also parking is a little competitive especially on a weekend. Checking in was easy with the kiosk and the rooms seemed relatively clean. This place has potential for sure. We had no electricity for about two hours or so last night which caused a little uproar but the problem was fixed. Will i come back? Sure- especially with kids.

Everything was amazing , the rooms, location, etc. The only negative thing about the location is how hard it is to find parking. I believe that ANYONE who purchased a room to stay should have expedited/designated parking.I had one negative situation additional, and it was 1 of the bartenders trying to ID one of the 2 of us because she felt the need to try it.FYI- If you're going to ID for alcohol then ID everyone, not just 1 person out of the pack ( don't just pick one, just because you wanna be a bully) when the sign clearly says ANYONE/EVERYONE under 40 needs ID.Food & drinks: Food is pretty pricey there. So we went off site for food.

We had an amazing time here! We went in the middle of the week so it wasn't too busy and stayed for 3 days. The water park was a blast and is fun for kids or adults! The hotel was fun and offered plenty of activities for us to do as a family. We liked the build a bear, magic wand scavenger hunts, arcade, duckpin bowling, a d mini golf! The food was average, but had something for everyone. It was a bit inflated, but about what you'd expect. There were a lot of options nearby for food and shopping, so if you don't want to get the buffet, food court, or restaurant, you can grab food nearby. We did hibachi one night and it was worth the 10 minute ride 👍. If you have multiple kids I'd recommend bringing easy Mac, Peanut butter and Jelly etc... it could make things easier some days. All of the staff was great and we didn't have any issues at all during our stay. We're definitely looking forward to our next trip!!Rooms: We did the room with the little cabin and bunk beds for the kids and our daughter was obsessed with it! Our room was a great deal (~99/night) and bigger than the average hotel room! It had a fireplace and balcony which was also nice and cozy.Nearby activities: We did the outlets nearby (~5 minutes away) and had a fun little afternoon.

Great place for fun with the family and kids. Lots of slides, wave pool, small lazy river, couple hot tubs, kids slide, and pool area. There is lots of great stuff for the kids and fun times for all. Everything here is decent, but there are a few issues. The giant area with a large bucket dropping water and play area is in dire need of repairs and fixing up, multiple things not functioning, it's really an eyesore and kids really didn't enjoy it much, Great Wolf really needs to repair or just tear it down for a new one as it is very sad. The room was nice overall, beds were nice, had a 2 queen room with pull out, fridge with a freezer, no microwave, only complaint was the bathroom walls and inside were not painted and needed repairs, bathroom itself made me feel like I was in a very cheap old hotel room. The customer service here was fantastic, as an example, my kiddo broke their magic wand, and they helped out with repairing it. Went from having a meltdown child to returning to having a great time! Had many instances of great services, bravo to management, and staff for doing a great job and helping out! The food was good inside the park, pizza surprisingly good, breakfast buffet was good and had good selection for the kids. This was one of multiple visits here, always been a good time.

Obvious money grab. The rooms are pretty pricey, and then you have to pay for the water park separate.Deff can't just do 1 night. Check in is 4pm, water park closes at 8, check out is 11am, water park opens at 10. I mean you have access to the water park all day but no room. I feel like the water park should first be included in the price and second should be open like 7 to 11.The rooms are nice, we were on the ground floor which was great but the outside grass area was covered in liter. The walls are thin, I could here everyone above me walking and running the halls. It was fun I just expect more for what I'm paying.
