I had tickets for my son and I at Bear Creek but came up against a sold out online rental inventory for the skis he needed at the mountain. I called here before opening and got a call back a short time later. They were able to provide a great set of gear at a reasonable price with great customer service. Saved our day!

In a recent experience the guy working the desk was really manipulative and took me for 25 bucks (which I get is not a lot compared to the price of what they sell). He just proved himself to be an untrustworthy individual. This is closer to me than pelican over on 309 but I've always had a great experience there. Pelican's always been above board, honest and their rental equipment is of much better quality for very similar pricing, after my experience here, I consider it well worth the drive!

This place is a treasure. Tucked across the bridge from Spring Mountain, this place radiated awesome. The service I received and the kindness I was greeted with was equal to how great they tuned my gear. Can't wait to visit again in winter or summer!

Excellent locally owned small ski shop. The prices are insanely competitive here and cheaper than online or the box stores and the staff are extremely friendly. I went in today to purchase a set of skis and boots and left extremely satisfied - check this place out before wasting your money on the big guys!

The last time we were there (Micki/Niels, Mark/Barb) was camping as volunteers @ the Philly Folk Fest 2004. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL camping there, Tom was always such a GREAT guy! Probably almost 20yrs I camped there with Mark/Barb, Micki with me 11 of those years. We all took the site way in the back of the grounds, absolutely LOVED it there. 2004 was our last year only because we bought a big enough RV that wouldn't go over the bridge, we probably could've parked it in the front lot, but had an offer from another friend at their site on "the hill" at the Fest our last year in '05, then moved outta the area a few years later to 10ac in the center top tier of PA.What an absolutely awesome & wonderful place to camp for the Fest! ALWAYS clean, spacious, cool, & quiet! LOVED IT!Do you still offer such services? Is Tom still around? SO GOOD to see the shop still there & functional...even if we're now too far for Fest.

Rented kayaks here for the first time to go out in the perkiomen , service was great! The owner was very helpful, super laid back , it was a nice day on the water! Definitely renting from them anytime we want to kayak again!

We were at Cabin Craft yesterday to exchange our rental boots that didn’t quite fit correctly once we went skiing. Even though it was busy, the young lady helped us was so great! She took the time to get many different boots for my daughter and show her how to put them on properly and then they adjusted them to make them more comfortable on her calves. There was also another young man who helped us get the bindings adjusted and was also so friendly. In a time when teenage workers can be fairly rude, I was so happy to have such wonderful service. They will definitely be getting our business again.

Cabin craft saved the day…literally!! We arrived at our lesson at Spring Mountain only to realize we forgot a bag of gear. After a quick google search we found Cabin Craft just down the road. They understood our plight immediately. They hooked us up and let us borrow pants, a jacket and gloves all high end for a nominal fee! And we made it to the lesson on time! Thank you Cabin Craft!

This place had great prices on their snowboard rentals. Not only that, but the gear I rented was much higher quality than I'm used to from rental places; the boots were very comfortable and my feet weren't sore after 2 days of use. Lastly, the place wasn't crowded and I was in and out very quickly with great service! I will definitely come back here!

Not a modern place and a kind of country style. I didn't like it when I first saw this place. after I asked a guy for help with my daughter's snowboard, that was totally changed my feeling about this place. I felt this is the best place I ever used. They are kind, warm and skillful. If I need a help, no doubt I will come back to this place. Thanks again. You guys are the best!

The service here is dissatisfying, disappointing and very annoying. I have been waiting for three weeks now for them to get back to me. They do not call to update you on any service that you are receiving. They make you pay for their equipment even before receiving the finished product and then make you wait with no update for weeks on end. When you call them nobody is ever there. The flood damage there has destroyed many of there items and then move them to an area they say has been cleaned. They tried to charge me almost full price for boots that were damaged by the water. I would go there again based on some other items I received there. But know that nobody there is experienced and you should know yourself what you want.

Sad to say, I am a parent new to snowboarding. When my son expressed interest....I had to get him the proper gear. It was recommended to us to check this local ski shop. From the time I entered the store I felt completely comfortable! I knew I was in good hands! Ryan, Nick and Claire answered allll of my questions (about 3546 of them LOL) Ryan helped find my son an awesome snowboard and boots, Nick helped with assembly and Claire helped with clothing! They are such great kids!!! I will recommend this store to everyone and I hope they all get a raise! If not, they can work for me ;)

My fiance and I went skiing at Spring Mountain, which Cabin is conveniently located right down the street. I had to rent equipment as I don't currently own any and their prices are much cheaper than the rentals at the resort, not to mention the help is top notch. Every question we had was answered and the atmosphere was great. They sized me to a perfect boot and hooked me up with skiblades which I had a blast on. They even let me demo the Sled dog skis, which are crazy fun. The owners were awesome to speak to, the employees are passionate about all sports, extremely knowledgeable, and even more so helpful. I will definitely be back soon to make my equipment purchases from Cabin.

It's a neat little shop. The staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing. They made sure I was getting the right size boot and binding. They also had a different options and brands for lacing the boots and materials for the bindindings. I will definitely come back again.

I went in near the end of last winter to get my skis ptex. I was told by a co-worker it will be $10-$15 for just ptex at cabin craft. I was giving the ski shop my last, and final chance since I've had multiple bad experiences there with the new owners. I was charged $35-45 for just ptex. And that they would have it done by a certain date. I reached them near that deadline date and they still say we are very busy and your skiis aren't done. I mentioned again I need my skis for work and what date and they got them done that day and did a free wax job. The wax job wasn't done well because it only lasted 1-2 evenings of my ski job. I will never go there again.

What a great ski shop! I had no clue what to buy to get started for snowboarding. I've been wanting to try it for a while. The staff was very helpful and patient with me and my dozens of questions. I have found my go-to ski/snowboard shop! As someone who is just getting back into snowboarding after not having done it in many years, I was looking to update my equipment, but not break the bank. These guys sell a wide variety of used equipment, including boots and bindings. I was able to get a great pair of hardly used Burton boots and Matrix bindings for well under what I would have had to drop for brand new stuff selling online. Once I'm ready for new stuff, I'll be purchasing it here as well, as their prices are very competitive with the other local ski shops. The owner is really hands on and knowledgeable, so he will take good care of you.
