DO NOT use their bakery!! Bought some buttercream filled eclairs and donuts from the bakery today for a birthday celebration this evening as an alternative to doing a birthday cake for my spouse. Ate one when I got home with them and after finishing it my asthma started kicking off. I ended up having to do 2 breathing treatments throughout the day, which was odd since I have not had to do one of them in a year. Didn't associate it with the eclair at all because why would I? When I go to serve the eclairs/donuts after dinner I accidentally drop one upside down while plating them. Thank goodness I did because the underside was moldy. I flip the rest over and realize they are ALL moldy! That is not even remotely okay or acceptable!

Tops have great quality, yeah it's not bargain city but what is these days? lol A nice store and we enjoy shopping there.

Was using the self checkout ( 9-2023 ) and the employee was so very rude ! I spoke to management about her and come to find out a woman approached me in the parking lot at my car when I came out asking me if I was talking to management about the rude employee at the self checkout and I said yes. She told me her and another customer did formal complaints in writing about her. That rude employee had five complaints about her attitude just that day and she still works there. It's so sad that it's so hard to get help these days that we the customers have to deal with ignorant and rude employees !!! If I or any one of my co-workers had acted like that when I worked at acme markets at a young age we would have been terminated !!!

Always easy to shop this store. Seems like everything is intuitively laid out and easy to find what you maybe looking for. Toothpicks are with the paper products though.Place is still a win-win. Some things are at a higher price, but if you're just dropping by to pick up a few things, ok.Still an enjoyable shopping experience. Would ship here more if prices were a bit more competitive. Every shopping experience at "competition" wal*Mart is an exercise in frustration and a lot of times of futility. They are one of the WORST stores I've had the misfortune to shop in. I AVOID it as much as l can. Tops try to be a bit more competitive with wal*mart. You have them BEAT IN CUSTOMER SERVICE hands down.WAAAAY BETTER than Walmart. Enjoy shopping here.

I stopped in the yesterday for a few steaks for my family (not the first occasionthis had happened). not sure what happened but this used to never be the case. not only was their selection abysmal, what they did have didn't even look good and was over priced. looks like Ted Clark's is the better option on this one.

I found some sales on perishable groceries and pet care products. My only complaint is that the self checkout registers are still the slowest self operating systems of any store locally or otherwise that I've shopped.

I like Tops. They've worked hard to make it a better stocked, cleaner store. Their employees are helpful if you need them which I rarely do. Bonus a lot less traffic so you don't have to elbow your way through the store.

Lots of variety and a few really good deals. I come here every week for my shopping bc it’s less crowded than Walmart. It buy my produce, dairy, water, and some pantry items. I try to stay away from the meats bc the beef and chicken haven’t always been the best quality each time I’ve gotten them. But overall one of my favorite stores to shop at.

My go to grocery store. Never disappointed. I work the night shift, so I love stopping in the evening. Hardly anyone around, and the night shift crew there are always friendly. Not like the one's at Walmart who literally give you an attitude like your in there way!

I have shopped in several Tops, however have installed scales, wrappers, prepack equipment, ovens proofers, slicers and more in Grocery stores in 17 states. This store like many offer the basics, to me that is all. They remind me of Byrd’s from NC. However, the customer service at Tops is the worst I’ve seen out of all the brands I have shopped in or serviced. At this location, I simply needed quarters to use at the Hotel next door. The cash came from the onsite ATM. The customer service rep was not friendly even after I smiled, and greeted her respectfully. When I asked for quarters for the laundry, she stated she only had enough for the register, I offered to buy something to get change, she stated she only had enough for the day. I have never known a store that knew exactly how much change they would need, or put off a customer. I buy a lot of groceries when on the road due to many restaurants dropping standards. I travel with a cooking kit, and spend up to $250 a week in groceries. I am around Tops a lot when I travel to service my customers. From here on, due to Tops lack of customer focus, and entitled view, I’ll bring my Groceries from Giant. Too bad I can’t get a Publix this far north. I did send an email to a friend to let them know that there is a great opportunity up here. Tops customers don’t know what they are missing, I do, without good customer service you loose customers. You lost 1k from me in just the next month. I also talked to some locals in Sayre, including the Hotel. They currently shop at Walmart. If I managed a grocery store that pushed customers away to the competition....I would probably work for Tops. The other brands won’t tolerate it. Hopefully there will be a quality store to compete against Tops in the Future. I have only shopped at 6. In NY I prefer Stop and Shop, in PA it’s between Wise, and Giant. Publix blows away all competition, they are only as far north as Maryland for now.The customer service desk represents both the store, the store management, and the brand. If they are rude, or don’t care, that speaks for the company. I would not trust any other products knowing they take customers for granted. I will not go into what I found at other locations, since I never bought anything from this store due to Customer service’s contempt.

Employee at self check out was rude, useless, and let me stand there for 5 minutes as my screen said ' wait for an assistant' because I put 2 quarters in for change that was only . 35 cents, because you must use change first, before bills, (shouldn't matter the order of how you want to pay for tour groceries, but is what it is.., . then purposely walks away from self check out completely. Was unpleasant and unprofessional. The self check out makes so many beeps and sounds that your not sure if you scanned it , so you end up double scanning EVERYTHING- and don't take your own recyclable bags, it prompts you to 'put item in bag' even after you hit skip bagging... just a waste of time to go pay for over-priced groceries with a snotty staff.

What kind of bakery doesn't have donuts ready by 7:30AM on a Wednesday? They have the best donuts in town, I like bringing them into work for my coworkers. But if they are going to wait until mid morning to get them out ill have to go someplace else.

It's an alright place, there's some things that they carry that you can't find in the other stores in the valley. They have a nice selection of healthy food options. However their prices are ridiculously expensive. And the deals they offer in their weekly ad are jacked up for example they may offer a free 12 pack of soda if you buy 2 at regular price but then they charge $8 as the regular price for each 12 pack instead of the normal $4. You really have to be on watch when it comes to that here.

I don't normally shop there but, this was to good to pass up. If you're looking for good deals on the big game food then this is the place to shop. Thier add for soda and chips can't be beat. Buy 2 6pk of Pepsi get 4 free and 2 bags of chips get 3 free. And the best was buy 4.5lbs of hamburger meat and get 9 other items free. I saved 74 bucks on 124 dollars. Great bargain

Got more cashiers checking out do you don't have to wait in long lines. I refuse to use self check out. They always have problems. A manager was clating shelves of mac and cheese and just flung the boxes in the cart. Just something I wanted to see when I walked in the store.

There's only two meals I get at tops and they're great every time I go there I buy more of those they're like a pasta type dinner with steak in grilled chicken they sell it in the Dairy section
