Coming from a populace metropolis to a small town in PA, I was surprised to find such a well staffed Lowe's in Sayre. We're renovating a house, so I've ended up at this store 3 or 4 times a day to see every shift, every station, covered better than would be the case in the big city. But it's also about the who, not just the how-many, right? First impressions do last.Drill Seargent Mike in Appliances (who is funny and gives our dogs treats, making fun of his own cute haircut) and Bridget the Fairy Godmother of Lowe's will always be my Homecoming Court, as they found me in distress on our first visit, then made it all better. Once introduced to the Pro desk (thanks to FG Bridget), the world opened up with introductions to the Pros, the cashiers, and employees in the lumber area: Big Steve, Bigger Steve, Jason, Colby, Alex, Tally-Ho Tessa, One-L Michele. At every turn, you're uplifted by funny guys and caring strangers. Charlie, Justin, Chrissy, Maria, 2-L Michelle, Becca, Robert, Flo Joe, Chef Wayne in rentals, where I've gotten a floor sander, paint sprayer, rototiller...The paint people have been extraordinarily helpful and generous with their time. Cori, Caelen, Caden, Rawley, Kevin and Willie, plus everyone who I ever caught in the aisles and at the registers from Frank the Crank (not really, but he's ready for Central Casting), who set me up for services at the house, to Dan and Michael and Zach and Mary and Alexys, to name a few. So many of you are ready with a treat for our two pups that they go in expecting it! Renting heavy machinery was a scary proposition until I got the gentle treatment from Bennett and his expertly informed counterparts. And Vickie and Jenn make returning things a breeze.Looking forward to seeing my perennials blossom again and again in years to come, all from the Sayre Lowe's garden center.At 5'11", I always saw eye-to-eye with Mountain-high Katlynburg, but now's she's Kentucky Kat. Farewell for now. But as for the rest of you, I'm on my way back!

We went yesterday - 3/16/2024 - for deck screws and a single a 2x4x8. That's all we went for.There were many customers wandering about apparently seeking sales associates. Most of the sales associates were senion citizens, God bless them - they seemed to have a sense of customer care that the younger employees were obviously lacking in.Then. The prices were.......just staggering. I realize that we are in the deep, dark depths of Bidenomics, but the prices on inventory were simply impossible to comprehend.Then. Checkout time means scan your own purchases. This was the epitome of intolerable. When people are desperate for additional income, Lowe's cannot hire cashiers???????Folks, run away from the huge corporate home improvement stores and straight into your locally-owned hardware/lumbers stores where the owners will see that you find what you need and there will be a live human being checking your purchases out for you.I will avoid Lowe's at all costs from this point onwards.

Great store, always has what I'm looking for! Last time I was there, I tried their pickup service and it was very simple; just placed the order online and then scanned a QR code at the lockers inside the front door. Then, one of the lockers opens up and boom, there's what I ordered. Was a neat experience. Took some time to browse their flowers; a large selection, most in full bloom and looking healthy. Will definitely return =)

Don't open a credit account with them. They will close an account in good standing at their will and damage your credit unnecessarily. A loan Iwas a cosigner on defaulted and synchrony bank made the decision to punish me further by closing a 14 month old account with an excellent history and standing. After many years of faithful Lowes shopping...I am dropping THEM for Home Depot

Horrible customer service. Made an appointment last week to have new floors put in at my grandfathers house. Everything was all set until they canceled the appointment a few hours before they were supposed to arrive saying it was “due to the eclipse.”

The lumber and Lawn and Garden crew were fantastic to work with today. We bought a pallet of concrete and 70 fence poles. We were very pleased with the customer service from the store associates. The “Lawn mower” manager Tom on the other hand we were not so pleased with. He treated one of the employees badly with no understanding of the situation he was yelling about. Then lied to us about something very simple like a tape measure. He almost lost the sale if it wasn’t for the rest of the staff there.

I use to love this place and I preferred it previously, but the employees are very few. When you need help to get something off the top shelf, for example.....it's hard to find someone. I don't see this problem at Home Depot.

July 14th I purchased gutters for the house was told it would be 2 weeks, a month later still not up after several calls going unreturned they are up and not as I wanted them they even put the downspout going uphill

This Lowe's has kept their shelves and isles pretty much the same way since I started going there. When you want to go in to a place ,get what you want and need, and get back out to your job that is such a big help.Keep up the good work Sayre, Lowe's.

Almost always enjoy coming here. Nice stuff at acceptable prices.Still a nice place to shop, EXCEPT for the LACK of staff at front-end. WILL NEVER, EVER USE SELF CHECKOUT. Why pay SAME price while doing THEIR JOB? I will ALWAYS use the lumber register when "front end" is self checkout. Hate the extra walk, but HATE self check out MORE.

Was just at Sayre Lowes had a bad chop saw they took it back up went with the better grad one I can not talk more highly of the service and help I got. That is why I buy there they care.

Waited for assistance for 15 mins. Showed the guy a PICTURE of the part I needed. Came home with the completely WRONG PART. NOW I HAVE TO RETURN!

Can't even talk to someone on the phone to ask a simple question. I didn't want to drive an hour to make sure they had something so I called and I was hung up on 3 times by customer service. I asked to speak to a manager and was told to call back later because the manager just went to lunch. So you're telling me there isn't one manager or supervisor on duty? I was also told they were short staffed. So short staffed I couldn't speak to one person. I will never shop here or recommend this store again. I'd rather drive an hour the other way to Mansfield Lowes where they actually answer the phone and help you. Dont not waste your time shopping there.

They only have one human cashier. And she's all the way down in the corner at the opposite end!I do not work there and refuse to self check out. I'll shop elsewhere first!The gentleman working the department I needed was very helpful and knew his inventory and where everything was. That service is gold!

Went to pick up fairly large lumber order. Found associates to be very helpful. Most cases didnt even need to ask they offered several times to see if I was finding the products I needed. After check out they where ready and willing to help me load the trailer full of pressure treated( heavy )wood. All in all it was a sizable task made easier from there willingness to help and seemingly outstanding work ethic. Thx guys 👍

Went in to buy a chest freezer and then again for an outlet. First time customer service was alright, the worker was nice but also weirdly blunt. The second time I had a worker ask me if I needed help and was very kind. Lowe’s had both items I needed & it was a pretty quick process getting the freezer.

Bought a heat lamp for my tortoise and it lasted one day. I threw out the box but found the receipt so Lowes replaced it without a problem. Always find what I need here.

I went to Lowes for a cabinet issue I was having. I couldn't find what I was looking for. Had to be ordered. I ended up buying a reminate carpet instead. Great price, check out was easy and they carried it right out to my car. Big parking lot to park anything. I didn't give them 5 stars because my cashier didn't seem very friendly.
