I had never been here. I rolled up on my bike (it was a hot one), and was immediately asked if I needed water (on the house). Now I guess I'd better get some ice cream! Hundreds of combinations, supported by Perry's Ice Cream, makes this valley staple (in a word) HEAVEN - and it has gratis water.Nicest staff of ANY restaurant, bar, ice cream shoppe, bar none. Outside tables catch the afternoon sun, but who cares when presented with a chocolate shake.

Johnny D's had Very Good, Very Creamy ice cream at a very fair price!! Take a couple steps back "DQ"! Portions were fairy reasonable for the prices!! I would go frequently if I lived nearby!

There are two ice cream places near to each other that serve Perry's. Both are great, but I just think the ice cream tastes better from Johnny D's. Cannoli ice cream is my favorite, and they've really upgraded their menu over the years. There are picnic tables outside to eat, and the staff is very friendly.

So I went two days in a row and they said they were out of cherry ice but actually confessed nobody felt like getting it out of storage. I drove an hour craving a gelato with cherry ice TWO DAYS IN A ROW. But compromised on something else... Sad I didn't get my cherry and will just drive to Rita's next time.

One of my favorite places to get ice cream during the season, as it’s the closest to where I live. Pretty good hours. I wish they stayed open year round! Perry’s ice cream, Italian ice, soft serve, Dole whip, hot dogs.. Lots of options! I specifically love the frozen yogurt, Raspberry Truffle & their brownie sundae. The staff is very kind. My only concern is you can’t leave a tip when you pay with card, so I feel bad when I don’t have cash to leave a tip.

The Johnny's Joy sundae (toasted coconut and hot fudge) absolutely hit the spot while I was waiting for my pizza at Mangialardo's. The crowd was large, yet the line was quick, and I had the sundae in my hand within a minute. Excellent service!

LOVE this place! Pleasant staff. Huge variety of treats. Mango gelati and raspberry Dole whip never disappoint. My husband is a huge fan of ANY sundae and the amazing homemade toppings. Hurry up! What are you waiting for? Go!

A local tradition. Standing in line while a really hard working crew fills the orders. It is almost nostalgic and part of the fun is scoping out the other folks in line and trying to figure out what they are celebrating.

Fast n friendly service. The parking lot has ample room. Selections were good and portions were good size. As being our first time there just wish staff assisted us thru their menu as it was almost non-existent. The ice cream flavors were listed but not options. Regardless I will be back.

We used to love this place when we lived in town. We just went back after moving for the first time in 2 years. While the flavor selection was as great as before the quantity was super tiny! It was the same price as 2 years ago if not more, but literally half the size. My kids small ice creams looked like baby ice cream anywhere else. It was a bummer.

The ice cream was good, but the line was long, arrived at 8:45 pm. The girl charged me for my order AND the order of the people in front of me. I went back to ask them to return the money and they said they would. The money was put back into my account, but then it was taken right back out.

Lots of flavor choices for ice cream and some extra stuff too like sundaes and shakes and such. Love the buckets of sidewalk chalk on the tables for writing on the wall. Kids love that. Love that they except cards as well as cash. Always quick and friendly service even when there's a crowd. There is always a crowd they are always busy. Great prices even baby cones and doggy cones. Does need some upgrades for parking lot.

Perry's brand Ice Cream, which is amazing!!! There were at least 25 flavors. You can mix and match scoops. Plenty of parking, no indoor seating, window service only. There are a couple outdoor tables onsite. Food, drinks, and so many other goodies!!!

I like the outside atmosphere. I like that the parking is closed in the children don't have to be near the road. I like that there's a couple Windows pretty active going at the same time. Lots and lots of choices. And the prices seem to be quite reasonable. A nice place for my family to go without having to drive all the way into town.
