Every single thing we’ve tried from Main Street Bakeshop has blown us away. It seems that they don’t sell anything without mastering it first. Their frosting has the perfect consistency, the cake is perfectly moist enough, their brownies are a chocolate delicacy, and don’t even get me started on the cupcakes!! Not to mention absolutely everything that is made here is almost too beautiful to eat!! For our wedding we chose a 3 tier almond torte, various cupcakes (s’mores, pumpkin, carrot cake, and chocolate peanut butter), and brownies. Everything was so delicious that there was barely any left-overs as guests simply couldn’t get enough!!

I called ten days in advance to schedule a cake tasting for my upcoming wedding. We reviewed flavors over the phone and then Megan asked me to email her pictures of what I might want the cake to look like. I got an email the day before the scheduled tasting from Megan and it seemed like she didn’t write down the flavors we discussed on the phone because she asked me again if there were any other flavors I wanted to try and then had different flavors listed than what we had previously discussed. I responded an hour after she emailed me and told her the filling flavors we wanted to try. When we arrived at our scheduled time her staff told us that I never told her what flavors I wanted to try, so she didn’t have anything ready for me and she went to the gym instead. Her staff called her at the gym and made us cupcakes to try. The cake was dry and bland and the fillings tasted like they were the premade fillings you can get in a tube at the supermarket. Needless to say I will not be using this bakery for my wedding.

Megan was such a blessing to my husband and I. We had a difficult situation happen to us before our wedding and she was very kind and compassionate towards us. She created my dream wedding cake! The cookies were also delicious. We cannot thank you enough, Megan!

I cannot thank them enough. My son has had the flu. We weren't even sure he'd be well enough to celebrate. But he was and left me scrambling for a birthday cake. I called a couple places to no avail. It was past there cut off time for a cake. I called the Mainstreet Bake shop and she said she would do it for me! A little over 24 hours notice! I was so happy! And the cake was phenomenal and mind blowing! My son was a very happy boy! It was so good. I think the pictures say it all!

I was at an event where there was a cake and cookies. The cake was burnt, very dry, and mostly flavorless, but nicely decorated. The icing was good. The cookies were so dry they crumbled and also didn't have alot of flavor. The person that bought these items should get a refund.

Really amazing! Was out of town visiting and stopped here for some morning goodies! The cake donuts are so moist and so good! They had muffins and scones too! Highly recommend a but pricey but worth it! My total was about $40 but got a huge box of goodies to share with 6 adults!

I used Main Street Bake Shop for cupcakes and cookies for my wedding on 6/3/23 in Saxonburg. The biggest disappointment was that our wedding cake (small two tier) was melted and leaning so badly in the back. The front looked good but it had lots of flowers from my florist so it’s hard to tell how it would’ve looked otherwise. To be fair it was a very hot day but I was told that it arrived like that by my family that was helping set up. Many of my guests and our families noticed, including myself and my husband. The cupcakes looked good and everything did taste decent.Another problem was when I booked about 4 months before my wedding I gave a $50 deposit. I called a little over a week from my wedding to finalize everything and when I asked if my deposit was applied towards my total I was told it was not, it was just $50 to hold my date that didn’t go towards the cost of the cake. That was really shocking to me because I worked with lots of other vendors and none of them did that. I was also a bit shocked at the prices because they were definitely higher than what was listed on the website but I chalked it up to rising costs of ingredients and paid anyways because my wedding was so soon. I was much more upset about the melting/leaning cake than the cost anyways. If I could do it over again I’d definitely go in a different direction.

"Like eating an angel..." That's what my wife told me when she took a bite of a donut from Megan's Main street Bakeshop. Now, I don't know what my wife is doing eating angels, being one herself, or how she knows what they taste like, but I must say that if angels are delicious, then it's an accurate description of the goods you can get from this bake shop.We stopped in during the Mingle on Main and there were so many people coming in and out of the shop that the bell on the door never stopped ringing. But did this stop the two young ladies and young man who were working there from smiling, absolutely not! They were some of the happiest young people I've seen working in awhile!During our visit we bought two creme-filled donuts and an M&M cookie. The donuts were $1.50ea and the cookie was $2.00, everything was worth every penny.Some other items they sell include:Cinnamon RollsCupcakesGinormous GobsPepperoni RollsMuffinsAll in all, it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere and the goodies were great and we will certainly be returning again when we are in the area!If you visit, tell them DJ sent you! They'll have no idea who that is, but hey, everyone likes to know they were referred. 😉😂

I usually buy their stuff from sprankles, and mostly because I dont like the packaged stuff they carry. Some things are great and some are like why am I bring charged so much for this? And from a person that has a horrible sweet tooth, a lot of their stuff is too much. I do like their cheesecakes - lots of variety but the white icing is gross and there is something wrong w their crusts - theyre barely edible on some and the graham and cookie ones taste funny like oily.

Love this place. Cheesecake and cinnamon rolls are the best. Salted caramel bars are delicious too! Staff is friendly and nice. Clean and orderly place.

I ordered a Birthday cake for my wife from here. I thought it would be a step up from Giant Eagle. It was step down from a Giant Eagle cake. The cake was dry and the bottom and burnt. The texture was course and tasteless. I ordered strawberry filling. They only put strawberry filling in half of the middle and icing for the remainder of the center. I ordered the cake 4 days before the pick up date. Upon arrival the cake was not ready. They were rude and argumentative about what time it was supposed to be picked up. I waited for 25 minutes for them to finish the cake. I was spoken to disrespectfully by them. I will never patronize this business again. Awful customer service. Overall bad experience. I payed $40.00 for a terrible cake.

We ordered a custom fall themed cake and cupcakes from Mainstreet Bake Shop. She did an absolutely incredible job. She even carved the cake into a pumpkin! It was so gorgeous and delicious. Her shop is so cute! I highly recommend you try the oversized fruit filled cookies. Yum 😋👍🏼👍🏼

I ordered a Red Velvet cake for Christmas. I was informed on how to keep cake fresh thru the holidays. Everyone was excited about the cake. Upon cutting the cake, it was white not Red Velvet. No one attending dinner liked white cake. I tried calling the bakery numerous times to tell them about the mix up, but no one answered. I went to social media and found out they were closed until 1/19/2022. On 1/19/2022 I called the bakery and explained the mix up and was advised nothing could be done since it occurred last year. I called them on the day they returned. Customer service is horrible and I will never go back!

Megan did our wedding cake and holy cow, it was amazing!! It was not only the most beautiful cake, but the taste was out of this world. Her talent supersedes all others and her prices are amazing. You can’t go wrong here!!

Would not recommend this bakery. Ordered a wedding cake. Met with the owner once to place the order. Went back to the shop twice after that to speak with the owner who was never there. Asked workers to have owner call me never got a call. Cake was delivered to the venue. Ordered cake to be sprayed in gold, cake was not sprayed in gold. The top of the cake started leaning during the beginning of the reception and completely fell off during the speeches. Due to this there was no cake left over to freeze for the couples 1 year anniversary. During the tasting of the cake the filling of the cake which was strawberry was ample. The cake delivered to the hall had very little filling. Very very disappointed.

I can't say enough good things about the Mainstreet Bake Shop. They did an array of desserts for our wedding and every one of them was fantastic. The shop was creative in their dessert options and had apple crumble, cheesecakes, cake in individual jars, mini pies, and brownies. They delivered the desserts and set up a beautiful presentation at the venue. I would absolutely recommend this shop.

Love all their baked goods; so soft, so flakey!Even the pastries sold as "day old" are soooooo much better than the prepackaged mass produced from the grocery store.I highly recommend their cherry tarts & pepperoni bread.

Staff was friendly and courteous. The items are very reasonably priced & of huge proportions. 2 customers came in for pepperoni rolls while I was there & both commented on how delicious & huge they are. Highly recommend this great bakery.

I've used Megan twice, both corporate events. First time was flawless. The second time was a bit rocky, but boy Megan went out of her way to resolve the issue! The finished product was beyond words. I really appreciated her professionalism and get it done attitude! Of course the desserts received rave reviews too. Thanks Megan, you've gained a customer for life!
