This is the real deal. I grew up not far from this place and never went. I just moved back here at age 52 and experienced my first livestock auction. At the very least, it’s a cultural experience that’s not to miss. At best you’ll get a great deal on something.

This is a livestock sale. Not the Ritz. The family that operates this auction has worked hard serving the community for decades. If the kitchen manager is rude don't ask dumb questions. The food is excellent all home made pies and meals. Again I say if you want a smile with your lunch go to Burger King. If you want to sell, buy, eat a great lunch at a fare price, or just observe the local farm community this is a very good place to do it.

Auction every Wednesday, small animal like chicken usually start between 10-10:30am and large animal usually start between 1-2 pm. The auction does have a cafe upstair. The staff are not so friendly expect the people that are behind desk waiting for you to pay😂🤷‍♂️.

Nice people all the way around. It's a livestock auction, so it's not going to be clean, get over it! Good variety of animals and a diverse people bidding.
