Highly Recommend:It was our first visit, and the groomer was very comfortable with our giant 1 year old lab puppy. Our visit was the week before Christmas. It was a very busy Saturday, and yet we were acknowledged right away when we walked in. Our pup was taken promptly on time for our appointment. The groomer asked a few things to help them groom the pup. We returned, and our puppy looked and smelled amazing. And the puppy seemed very happy with her groomer.I'm very particular for my furbaby. We would be comfortable returning and will do so as soon as it's needed.

My dog is NOT a fan of getting nail care. The Dog House always treats him gently and with love, which puts both of us at ease!

We took our 14yr old Yorkie (CoCo)and our 9yr old rescue Pit bull(Buddy) to the dog house. We absolutely loved how our fur babies we treated and how they looked after our first trip. They were not scared going in and so happy coming out. I would definitely recommend the dog house for anyone who is on the fence.

It's been a "ruff" few weeks for my sweet Denali girl (16 yrs young) 😞 Woke up to another nasty mess in her crate and all over her. I reached out to our groomers at @TheDogHouse in Limerick as soon as they opened to see if they could help me clean her up.....if that was even an option. Unfortunately, a lot of stairs up to the tubs are no longer an option nor was the hose in 20-30 degree weather this AM. Even though they book up weeks ahead, especially with Christmas 5 days away, they told me to bring her right over and welcomed her in with open arms!! They took their time with her, kept her comfortable, and even gave me this picture when I picked her up ❤️. That's what Christmas is all about. I will "fur"ever be grateful for them!!

Cami, an expert groomer at THE DOG HOUSE on Ridge Pike loves my 16 year old Maggie May and treats her as if she is the only pup she grooms!. Cami was sensitive to her arthritis and old age! She cut her hair before she bathed her so bathing wouldn't take as long as usual. The shop is extremely clean, very well organized and very reasonably priced. Everyone at THE DOG HOUSE is so kind and caring. Thank you for giving my baby such a great experience.

First time taking my 2year old French Bulldog there and they were great! I can rarely get anyone to cut my dog’s nails but they did not mind at all. Truly so appreciative of them & will be coming here moving forward for her nails and baths in the near future. Thank you guys!!

Best groomer in the area. They are very friendly with our dog and always do a great job. They also take a cute picture of him and all other dogs/cats groomed that day. No better place to get our dog groomed.

My goldendoodle and labradoodle look great after their spa day at The Doghouse. And when I drop them off they will drag me across the parking lot to get inside. So if the girls look forward to grooming that speaks volumes. I know they are in good hands.

My boxer has always hated getting his nails cut, but the staff at The Dog House get him in and out with minimal stress. I also appreciate the themed bandanas and photo shoots they give after every service, even just walk-in nail trims. Thank you!!

I took my dog here for the first time and it was a great experience! The staff is friendly and patient with dogs that tend to get nervous. Ghost returned soft, fluffy, and clean with a cute bandana too! We will definitely come back to The Dog House!

This is hands down the place you need to be. They provide WONDERFUL SERVICE. I have a 16lb chiweenie who was…. let’s just say a lot to handle. We took him to 3 other groomers before we found this GIFT of a place. They not only were the only ones to successfully clip his nails but my dog wasn’t petrified when he came out. Happy as a clam. Loves the people and place. We won’t go anywhere else.

Initially looking at my dog he looked fine but as we got home I noticed that they missed certain spots on his fur where it was significantly longer than the rest of his body. So they must’ve missed spots when cutting his hair which made a lot of areas uneven. His nails were suppose to be grinded but they didn’t do that. They also missed a couple of his nails that weren’t trimmed. His hair on top of his ears were uneven and overall his body was super uneven.

NEVER TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!! My puppy had a little bit of matting behind her ears (which is our fault for not brushing her enough). The Dog House said they needed to shave the matting off and we were hesitant so we asked questions. I guess the lady ran out of patience because she ripped a brush through my dogs fur very aggressively, causing her to whine in pain. She did this to prove to us that they had no other option than the shave the matting off. Okay fine- we come back to get her AND HER ENTIRE BODY IS SHAVED. Our dog has literally no fur on parts of her body. Obviously we were angry. And instead of trying to help an upset customer, the lady blamed and insulted us as the owners and accepted no fault. When I called back to discuss more, she hung up on me after yelling and being extremely rude, short-tempered, aggressive, sassy, snippy, just mean! NEVER EVER TRUST THIS TERRIBLE PLACE WITH YOUR FURRY FRIENDS!!! My dog has been scared all day and just wants to be held constantly. THESE “GROOMERS” ARE NOT GENTLE AND LOVING WITH YOUR PETS!!

We just went for a quick walk in service (glands and nail grind). We didn’t have to wait long and the dogs there seemed happy! The staff was very upbeat and positive. Will definitely be back!

The staff at the Dog House is great! They are sweet and friendly with my dog and Always take my dog for a walk in nail appt quickly. My dog is nervous to get her nails done and they do a great job of taking care of her quickly and efficiently.

My dog has been going to the dog house for about a year for his nails. Our groomer moved and he has some bad experience at big chain pet stores. The ladies here at PHENOMENAL and he’s excited to go every time. He’s not nervous anymore and they rarely have to hang tight to him. I totally attribute the kind words they whisper in his ear and the positive reenforcement for this change. No matter how far I move, I will always make the trip for them.Bonus: they take photos of your dog with a seasonal backdrop every time adding to my million pictures on my phone.

My dog came back looking amazing! He is a Keeshond, and as such has tons of hair. Admittedly, we haven’t done a great job brushing him, so he was also a mess. They spent extra time working with him and brushing him out. Any other salon, especially the big box ones, would have just shaved him. He got to keep his hair and was very well taken care of. We recommend this place highly!

I would recommend them hands down to anyone, but especially if you have a dog who is difficult or nervous about their nails. My dogs last nail trimming had to be done under anesthesia! Mel trimmed his nails last Saturday in 15 minutes. Won't be going anywhere else

Today was my first and last visit to the Dog House. I was told my pet would be ready in a couple of hours. A couple of hours to me is two. When I returned in a couple of hours my dog had been shampooed and in a crate. The dog who came in after us was already being taken care of. When I asked why my pet wasn’t ready I was told it would be 3 to 4 hours. There is a big difference between a couple of hours and 3 to 4 hours. I demanded my dog be taken care of right away as I could not wait another two hours. The blonde staff member who addressed me as well as the staff member with the dreadlocks were both rude and had to yell over dogs barking. I was extremely disappointed with the service and the way I was treated. Again I would never return or recommend this facility to anyone.

The ladies seemed very nice, however one younger groomer took my young dog back and then tried to drag her onto a table for a nail trim. I asked her to take a moment, give the pup time to acclimate, and she responded with "this is how they learn" as my dog began to try to back out of her collar and away from her. As a professional dog trainer I can easily say that the only thing a dog learns from that experience is to fear the groomer. No thank you. I asked for my dog back and left. I highly recommend seeking a fear free certified groomer or any groomer who will take the time to actually meet your dog where they are and make it a positive experience. There are so many things she could have done in that moment (using treats which I had with me, getting on the puppies level to pet or talk to them, doing a nail trim on the floor, using another person to feed or distract the puppy, etc) that would not be dragging a young dog by their neck in a new environment.
