Only in lancaster can you expect to find road side stores selling root beer. The lady at the register is absolutely lovely! The only critique is that I can't drink the root beer for a day after following some specific temperature schedule.... Either way I'm excited to try it!

I found this place while looking at Google maps...figured I visit since I enjoy root beer. We passed by it as there is a small sign underneath the roadside mailbox. A cute small storefront with some handmade goods and antiques. If no one is available, ring the bell that's on the counter. The chips are delicious, we got the sour cream flavored. The root beer was pretty good-It has a little ferment taste, which I'm not a big fan of. We also bought homemade ketchup, haven't tried it yet. Btw, they accept only cash. I'd recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Very cute on a farm with some goats to see. The gift shop had some odd and ends. And the ice cold homemade root beer was delicious!

For many years I passed the sign saying I have to try the Root Beer they offer. We finally did. A very light authentic fermented taste and very good. If the door bell at front desk doesn't work. Just give them a little holler of "Hello" and they will be over. I will be back soon.

Always drop by when in the area to pick up 1/2 gallons of rootbeer to enjoy later. Taste is unlike the typical rootbeer that can be bought in stores, which makes the homemade flavor hit or miss for some. Out of the many homemade varieties I've tried, this is one of my favorites.

Amish homemade Root beer. Too yeasty for me, however did buy some of their canned (glass) products from the garden. Fresh and tasty. Amish farm and garden. Good people.

Outstanding homemade root beer, could be a little stronger for me I grew up on this stuff 30 years ago. Just Could not find it all the years gone by! Finally did! Can't wait to buy more! Lied to me about having extra half gallons then I drove my Amish boss there three hours later and the young girl sold him 1/2 GALLONS only to inform him to please let it sit three days! Like I wouldn't have done the same. I'm old school with this stuff!!

WOW! Amazing Root Beer made by a local Amish family. This is a real working farm with this side business. Highly recommend when you need a cultural experience and a drink.

Both of our root beers had ants in them. The Woppie pie was ok. We asked for a new root beer and he gave us another, but after taking a sip we realized it had ants.
