When you say your deli is open 7 am to 7 pm you should still be able to get cheese at 6:45 pm. If your employee cleans the slicer before 6:45 and now he will not slice cheese then say you are only open till 6:30. Do better Giant Eagle if you're open till 7 then be open till 7.

Produce always seems to be a problem. If it's marked down there is a reason. This is an ongoing issue along with tomatoes and onions. Purchased an hour ago.

I will give this supermarket 1 star, one because it was clean & the lady at the cash register was very polite . The owners of this store do not care about anything but making a profit. Anyone who says support local businesses will change their mind if they shop here. Even their 5 for $25 meat deal is not a bargain. Packages were very small. Society blames price hikes on covid, but this is sickening! I can longer accept that concept, it's greed! This store has the highest prices I have ever seen, unless you live in NYC. Bring $50 in this store & tell me what you can get. The minimum wage is $7.25 in PA so you want to buy something like, salt veggie straws, you will need to work an hour & a half because they cost $9.99 in this store! They cost $5.34 elsewhere! A $4.65 difference! I checked. Maybe people shop here out of convenience? I have no clue. I recently got a perks card, sorry this does not save the consumer money. I will not return, there was nothing in this store nor coupons, that my hard earned money will bring me content in buying! Unbelievable!

I just got back from Rochester Giant Eagle,my main reason for going to this store was to get fish from the hot foods department. If I didn't have to pickup my wife's prescriptions, I would say that this was a wasted trip. This was the worst food I have tasted in a while. Fish is supposed to be tender and flaky when cooked properly,this did not even taste like fish. The coleslaw,if you want to call it that, had a tinny taste to it and the mac and cheese was just macaroni in a fake cheese broth. Myself and my family are extremely disappointed with the quality of this food and can't believe anyone would sell this to the public. This is definitely the last time I get anything from the prepared foods section.

I was able to check out quickly and find the items I needed. I bought an item at Ace Hardware and the gentleman. There was very efficient and gracious a great help. My only complaint is that there were absolutely zero shopping carts available when I went into the store. Apparently they had all been used and were scattered throughout the parking lot.

There was no employee in the deli when I showed up. They left a sign saying "be back in 20 minutes" I waited for 30 minutes before calling the store and an employee from hot foods had to hunt down the deli employee. Three customers left and went to a different supermarket in the time that i waited. The deli employee then proceeded to use one machine to cut both meat and cheese. When asked he said it was the only machine he had clean. Due to my severe anaphylaxis to dairy I couldn't place my order.

I am here at 7:40am. There is no one helping with self checkout and I rang up something twice because (more concerning) there was someone following me through the store. I couldn't find a lot attendant or anyone to help me get to my car. There is a sign posted to ask for help but there is no one. No one at the service desk. No lot attendant. Just me and a teenage girl on one register.I don't feel safe in your store anymore. Thankfully, the man walked down Bridge Street but I don't understand where the front end of your store has disappeared to.

I understand that inflation is going on, but the gouge the prices like they do in the store is absolutely terrible. They may have halfway decent prices on just a select number of items, but it's ridiculous to take advantage of the people like that

I gave 3 stars because the produce is horrible. Bought two pineapples, both rotten inside. A bag of onions only 3 were usable. Bag of golden potatoes only a few were edible. Two avocados, both rotten inside. Apples badly bruised, oranges dried up. Bananas bruised, have to buy a whole bag of jalapeños when I only need 2....Alot of dented cans on the shelves too, thats unacceptable to charge full price for items that should be trash.Other that meat and a few other items, wouldn't waste my time and money here.

Very clean, well organized store. More expensive, but better quality meats.Great weekly specials.Pharmacy very slow at times but has a great phone system for reminding when drugs need refilled.Drive thru is open sporadiy.

I honestly don’t know how anyone can afford to shop here, the prices are ridiculous. I picked up a plastic container of brownies from the “We Made Too Much” shelf (The Clearance Rack) and a marked down box of 6 tiny brownies was 5.49 which means the regular price was well over 6.00. With prices like that no wonder there were tons of items on said clearance rack, it’s not that they made too much, it’s that the regular price is too out of touch.

The one in Aliquippa could use more cashiers when people are getting off work I went at 230 only 1 regular cashier and 1 with 12 items or left open say from 2p.m. to 6p.m.they could use 2 more cashiers that's my only issue with,

Nice, comfortable environment, spacious, and kind people. I enjoy mornings usually after work. Music selection very nice also. Enjoy the Hardware store selection a convenient selection. Easy to identify items a wide variety clearly priced. Cold beer selection Hot food items, fresh baked items, and prepped food selections. Enjoy!

WHY IS AN OFF LEASH ENGLISH POINTER ALLOWED IN YOUR STORE? This is a grocery store not a dog park. This is not a service animal. A little girl tried to pet this dog and her mother had to pull her away.

I'm giving the Pharmacy 5 stars, they're great, always on time and haven't had to come back to get partial prescriptions.The store only gets a 3, prices are out of control.Nothing really changed as far as prices, still high.Pharmacy is great!

Extremely over priced to the point of gouging. They only had one full service check out open, resulting in a very long wait in line, yet all employees were standing guard over the many self- checkout lines. Very reluctant response to my request for carry-out helpI won't be shopping here any longer

The survey people in the back of the store insist on harassing everyone. When you simply say to them no thank you, or I'm not interested, they will not quit. I will not return to shopping here until they handle that issue. I prefer shopping without someone chasing me down pushing for information about my gas or electric bills. Went to Rochester Giant Eagle last night. The entire store is now cashless!!! I was at the register trying to pay cash, I was picking up groceries for someone else, and she told me to just use my debit card. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP THERE. There were NO SIGNS at my register to warn me they don't accept cash. And there was nothing on the door. Good bye Giant Eagle. If you don't want my business then I don't want yours.

Since they put hardware section in middle of store, they variety in product has been drastically decreased. Deli constantly closed due to lack of workers. Floral section has so many artificial scents I get a headache just walking by.

You will always get the freshest ingredients here. With the remodel it smells like a Home Depot and it's pretty confusing now to those of us who have been shopping there for decades but we will figure out where everything is again... Probably just in time for them to rearrange lol.My only complaint is how high the prices are, Giant Eagle has always been on the higher price scale and now with inflation it's getting harder to afford to shop there regularly.
