I tried a piece of coconut cake last month when on the Best Kept Secrets Tour and it was the best coconut cake I’ve had! Better than my own so I ordered an entire cake for Christmas.We tried done dinners last month as well. Delicious food and great prices! Give this local small business a try. Eat there or get it to go.

Quirky family style restaurant. Limited seating, but delicious home cooked comfort food. My son loved the homemade pumpkin pie for dessert. Crafts for sale with your meal!

Excellent home cooking sort of experience. This is refreshingly differentThey have great food. Drinks come from a cooler. They have home made candy. You can eat in or order for takeout. We have done both. I had the meatloaf burger and cheese fries for takeout and shepherds pie when we ate in. If you eat in, you order at the counter first and pick a table. They will bring your food to the table in fancy dishes. There are games and little toys and finger puzzles everywhere. The place is decorated with owls of all kinds. This is a hometown kind of place. There is a bathroom.

Noreen & Beth are the nicest ladies I’ve met. And on top of that the food is hands down the best truly home cooked in Berks! I love how the dining area is just like at home oh and did I mention how delicious the food is?!?! This is a new staple in our must haves for dining out!

We discovered this little cafe and bakery in our local Merchandizer newspaper.The cafe is very tiny ... Has 5 tablesA standing refrigerated cooler for beveragesA small case for their decorated bakery itemsA very small kitchen for cookingThe food fare is quite big offering Berks county comfort foodsAlthough we were the only 2 in the cafe at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon....it took 35 minutes for us to actually get our foodA cheeseburger and fries and a meatloaf burger and cold potato salad should not have taken that longThe decor was very festive for the upcoming Halloween date next weekThere was a nice variety of board games and table games one could playWe will give this small...quaint cafe more time to organize their business before we return.
