Roadside beer store doesn't quite describe everything you will find inside. While it does have a wide selection of chilled and warm beer, seltzers, etc., the back counter is where the good stuff is. Several flavors of jerky include a honey glazed, a sweet garlic, followed by many standard flavors. Available in various sizes or single pieces, they didn't disappoint. The licorice flavors will surprise you, but the length of each piece must be over 15", which will explain the price. The 5 I picked out were all recognizable as advertised. Not to leave a person's best friend out, they have a good range of dog treats as well. It is worth the drive out of your way to check them out or order online and wait patiently.

Dark run jerky is my favorite place in Schuylkill county to get my alcoholic beverages! They are fairly priced and they have wonderful customer service! The slushees are great in the summer and the beef jerky is a nice snack!

Super impressed with the selection of beers. A big cooler full of different IPAs NEIPAs and sours and more. I picked a 4 pack of sours I’ve never seen before, and the owner was really nice. 100% I’ll head back next time we are in the area for a visit.

Dark run jerky is fairly priced, has a great variety, and staff is always very friendly & helpful. The beef jerky is a nice touch, a quick go-to when you go in to grab on the run... and the slushies are so refreshing in the summer 🏻

We always stop here when we go up north. The staff is extremely friendly, they have a great selection and their slushees are amazing. Our dog loves this place too….she loves the yak cheese they have for purchase
