The retail side looks nice on the surface, but Management hasn't spent a dime on cleaning or even repairing the restroom in MONTHS. How tasty is the fried chicken knowing that the kitchen probably sees the same neglect?

The chicken is usually great. Very crispy, good white meat. The fries are very tasteless though, but they are generous with the portion. The mac and cheese is average and the biscuit is also very bland. The potato salad has an odd texture to it. The service is usually really fast, they get it done very quickly. Decent selection of snacks and drinks. All and all it has a lot of good features but the food could be much better, also the kiosk is confusing to order from, I feel like everything’s scrambled.

Worked in retail for close to 8 years. Corporate/managers need to do a better job at making this store run smoothly like competitors close by.. always running out of chicken, most of the time you need to ask the associates if the box is yours since rarely numbers from our receipt are written on the box…. The gas pumps were broken yesterday, the gas pump readers always have a difficult time reading the royal farms card. This review should be enough for serious action to take place. I don’t care to fill out another review anywhere else.

Just finished work and wanted some chicken. The kiosk let me order an 8 piece dark. While I ordered the lady pretending to sweep swept right by my feet like excuse you jerk. Then I made my purchase. Instead of dropping some chicken in the fryer he wants to argue about giving me breast instead. The cashier pretending to sweep witnesses it all I want my money back and that slug made me wait for her to finish pretending to sweep before refund was issued. I will never fuel or order food at this location again.

I was just there today but Tapatio chips and the one chip challenge had a $.75 coupon and the employee Anthony refused to use the coupon because he because he couldn’t scan it I asked him to help me pull it apart to get the barcode and he refused to help I am never going to any Royal Farms again extremely disappointed and will blast out Anthony every time I can

The customer service was horrible, I would definitely not go there again after a bad experience with the people who worked there. I should be able to use my coupons easily and happily with the service they’re providing (self-scans), but they made it so much harder than it was supposed to be and practically snatched the coupon from me. (The coupon expires around September and it’s July, so no chance that was the problem) It was more of an argument with them rather than settling the situation.

Girl cooking the food kept coughing with food in her hand... Order kiosk dirty sticky and nasty... Food should be covered!!! Chicken should be rotated and switched out cause it gets dry and nasty... Royal farms food is good... This store clearly needs better management. Some of the employees look sick or on drugs. I hate going to this one!

Have tried spicy tenders three times from here, and have they were cold and tasted old every time. Ok for gas and snacks, that’s about it. I thought this place was supposed to have great chicken. Three times is enough for me to never try it again.

The sandwich I got was undercooked, expensive and long to wait. The staff was unfriendly and rolled their eyes when asking if it was my order number. They don't have any slips to indicate that my sandwich was done. I am actively looking for a wawa replacement and this certainly won't pass the test.The actual store brand is good, but they are either understaffed or need better customer service training. I'll update my review after a few more visits, but I need to see better and friendlier service in the future.The self checkout machine was my favorite employee.

Not only am I paying 60$ to fill my tank up but every time I go here it takes no less than 10 minutes to fill my car. This time it was so slow the pump timed out and ended the transaction. On top of that the rewards system is a scam. I've been trying to reset my password in the app now for months. And you need a card to buy the gas and a cellphone to redeem the points? Your banking people don't understand the system and never use the points. I'm done using Royal Farms completely. Trash food products and service.

The gas may not be the cheapest. Usually more on the higher end side at the price range. But the employees are always hospitable and the facilities are always very very clean

I heard good things about Royal Farms especially about their chicken. So, of course we had to try it.The chicken was absolutely without a doubt delicious! Not greasy and full of favor. Not even salty. 👍👍The place was clean and the service was prompt. When we're around the area again definitely will stop by.

This store has staff problems,I came in the store because the gas pump did not have me a receipt,and the clerk told me there was no receipt for pump 7 so I ask for another person but,the guy he ask for help to,was on the phone with his body and did nothing this happen for like 15 minutes so I left to work and lost my money cuz I work with my car for a company and needed my receipt.

Bought soda here while staying at a nearby hotel. I liked the self-checkout option. Cannot speak to any of the other food options, however. The soda prices were to be expected (about $2.50 or so for each 16oz bottle at the time of this review.) Quick place to stop for something when you're staying at a nearby hotel.

Chicken was badly over-cooked and dry from sitting in hot tray for what was probably the whole day. I bought a 4-piece with fries and ended up throwing it out after a few bites. My advice.. just get gas and go. Only step inside for a soda or smokes.

I ordered a sandwich. Usually customer service is great. But they dropped a salt shaker in the mayonnaise and I asked were they going to change it , the young lady with no hair net on making food said “it’s not like it’s contaminated “ I work in the food industry and I know that would get the store shut down !! I love the workers but that blew my mind !!

Food selection is limited and some products out of date. The guy making sandwiches can't follow simple instructions. The bathroom was disgusting. Shady employees. The girl behind the counter would rather playnon her phone and let customers use self checkout.

This review is mostly for the gas portion of royal farms. I appreciate the number of pumps and recently the different types of payment accepted. It would be nice to see more electric car chargers as they have just 1. The biggest issue with the pumps is not royal farms faul but people will park and walk inside. I am guessing to pay for gas but I am certain they buy other items plus gas which ties up the pumps. I have had the food and while it has been some time since going inside for food I never had an issue with service when I did go inside. The only issue I had was the food was extremely greasy which upsets my stomach. Not sure if it is just this location but I have eaten from other royal farms and not gotten such greasy food.

Every time I have to take 291 because 95 is backed up, I stop at this Royal Farm to get a beer or gas. Last one before you get to Philly. The service is good, and I have never had a problem there! They serve Beer!!!
